Such a beautiful place , lovely views,comfortable bed,felt instantly relaxed , beautiful place highly recommend.really didn't want to leave

A very light & spacious studio with everything we needed. Lovely outdoor area to sit in and great views of the beach looking out from the chalet. It was clean, well laid out and also in a great location to get to the estuary and the surf beach. Margaret was excellent with communication and very helpful during our stay.

Perfectly clean and comfy for my one night stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful and I could have my dog stay with me. Great value too

Driveway is a bit challenging but manageable, and if the heater can be oil type, it would be great for a cold night

Pleasant surroundings, welcoming host and neighbours, fabulous views, close to beach/eateries etc. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.

The unit was modern and spacious, with everything you'd need for a stay near Mangawhai Heads - and there's a lovely view of the sandspit/lagoon area.

Beautiful view over to the coastline from the huge windows. Lovely art work. Milk in fridge thoughtful. Towels galore, an iron etc.

It was the perfect space for comfort and use. Good little kitchen area, TV area and comfy bed. Margaret was very useful, and she sorted out our wifi when we (stupidly) turned it off by accident. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place to stay. Roomy, lovely crisp sheets, fabulous welcome and outstanding views.

A very bright and fresh holiday atmosphere. Lovely fixtures & fittings and a comfortable sitting area. Beautiful views from all windows. It was nice to be greeted by the host when we arrived.

Had hoped that a cooking hotplate was available so that we could cook dinner and eat in. But no problem with dining out in the end.

We really enjoyed this cute little chalet. The view was lovely and the location was good, super close to the beach by car. Comfy bed and couch, and smart TV smart for a good movie.

Lovely host, very helpful with local knowledge Beautiful View of coastline. Very spacious & can park right next to chalet Clean, tidy & a comfortable bed. Well equipped mini kitchen. Town is delightful with plenty of places to eat.

Chalet Cullen is a comfortable, elegant and spotless accommodation. The pictures provided are accurate. The studio has excellent light and a gorgeous view. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, very centrally located to walk to the beach and to the restaurants. Margaret greeted us on arrival and was attentive during our stay, thank you.

Everything - the host (Margaret I think) was lovely and very welcoming and provided us with some milk for a cuppa as soon as we got in. Not over bearing - gave us a quick run through and then left us to it. Had TV and board games and a mini kitchen too.

Everything was perfect. Charming chalet with a fantastic view to wake up to. Nice little terrace with a BBQ. Parkibg just in front. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great location, just a short drive into town, wonderful sea views through large windows lovely and warm as we visited in winter lovely hosts we could take our dog which is the most important part for us!

We had a lovely time here with our dog! Drinking coffee in the morning looking out at the ocean was something we really enjoyed. The whole apartment was super clean & Margaret is a lovely host.

Location and privacy.

The view along the estuary, the decor and the layout of the chalet with easy outside access, the seperate dressing room, excellent bed pillows and bedding, plenty of heating/ cooling, parking right by the door and a really nice host.

Chalet Cullen has good location with a great seaview. Margaret was welcoming and also respectful of our space. We would rebook again if we needed to stay in Mangawhai.
