Reviewed Oct 19, 2025Wow vilket mysigt ställe. Jag och min dotter var ute på en vandringshelg och sov över i Ullas jättemysiga stuga som ör så smakligt inredd. Så fina omgivningar, tyst, fridfullt och avkopplande efter en vandringstur. Under kvällen blev vi serverad Ullas fantastiska femrättersmeny. Väldigt, väldigt gott. Vi kommer tillbaka. Boka!

Reviewed Jul 23, 2025I have stayed in countless top hotels all around the world, including all the major luxury chains, and yet nothing compares to the unforgettable experience I had here. This place is something entirely different. It is not just a stay, it is an immersion into warmth, authenticity, and culinary excellence. Ulla is the heart and soul of this place. She is not only a gifted and inspired cook; honestly, her food is of true Michelin star quality but she also makes you feel genuinely cared for from the very first moment. Every dish is homemade, most ingredients come straight from her garden, and every bite reflects the love and thoughtfulness she puts into her cooking. Booking the dinner is an absolute must. I have never tasted anything like it. What makes this place so unique is its total authenticity. If you are looking for something truly special, something that stays with you long after you have left, this is where you want to be. The reviews speak for themselves, and rightly so. I honestly cannot understand how anyone could rate this experience anything less than excellent. Yes, you are surrounded by nature, in the middle of golden wheat fields. Complaining about a dead insect here would be like booking a beachfront hotel and then complaining about sand. This is real, beautiful countryside — and it is absolutely magical. I am incredibly picky and have very high standards. Yet here, everything was simply perfect. It is a stay unlike any other, and one I recommend from the bottom of my heart to anyone in search of something real, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2025Heerlijk rustige en afgelegen locatie. Een hele mooie woning en uitgebreide keuken. De eigenaresse is super vriendelijk en wil/kan veel vertellen over wat er allemaal te doen is in de omgeving. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker, met allemaal locale producten en s'ochtends geserveerd in het huisje. Het uitzicht vanuit bed is romantisch te noemen. Bij een volgende trip naar Zweden gaan we hier zeker weer verblijven.
Iets meer keuze aan pannen zou prettig zijn, als je uitgebreider wilt koken.

Reviewed Sep 23, 2024Lilla Lyngabo is an off-the -beaten-path of a gem. The little cottage for guests is so cozy & inviting that one night is just too short of a stay. With an absolutely beautiful beach just 3 km away (don’t miss the sunsets!) and the town of Halmstad 10km down the main road, there’s plenty to do. But honestly, you will be hard pressed to stray to far from the tranquility of Lilla Lyngabo. If you are an American, Ulla (your host) can best be described as an approachable and down to earth Martha Stewart (without Snoop Dog). She has impeccable taste and everything she does is to perfection. Whatever you do, do not forgo Ulla’s 5 course meal; it is an experience you will not soon forget.
