Estadía muy agradable en familia en este riad. La llegada fue sencilla gracias a una entrega de llaves rápida y sin complicaciones. El lugar está impecable y muy cómodo. La calefacción mantiene una buena temperatura y la conexión Wi-Fi es excelente. Además, ofrecen comida: tuve la oportunidad de probar la pastilla, un plato típico de Fez, y estaba riquísima. Nada para criticar, lo recomiendo mucho y sin dudas volveré."

The room was painted and it smelt of paint the whole time.

It was very beautiful! Right next to the royal palace it has a local feel. The faculty treats you like family and as Fez can be quite confusing, they hold your hand to make the experience as pleasurable as possible! (The breakfast was also super yummy)

Smell from the bathroom. The walls may be soundproof but the doors and windows are not. Luckily we were here in low season (Nov), so very quite.

Nice cosy Riad and good breakfast in the morning Nice friendly staff!

The personnel were extremely helpful to everything we may asked, the neighbourhood was so quiet, clean and safe. The place is not in the centre, an advantage. There is surveillance 24/7 with cameras so no need to worry.

At first the way to the Riad is confusing but once you reach the place , you remember everything. Their breakfast could be better as it had just one plate, but again everything we ate was delicious.

Nous avons été ravis de séjourner dans ce raid auquel on pourrait y attribuer 4 étoiles. Nous avons tout aimé le personnel charmant et à nos petits soins, les propriétaires très arrangeants et très sympathiques. La chambre était nettoyée avec changement des draps et serviettes de bain tous les jours. Le cadre est superbe et très calme. Possibilité de déjeuner et dîner sur la terrasse joliment décorée. L'emplacement est idéale proche à pieds de la Médina et d'un jardin très agréable et beau. Merci à toute l'équipe de nous avoir permis de passer de si bons moments à Fes. Nous ne pouvons que recommander tellement ce lieu nous a plu. N'hésitez pas à réserver vous ne le regretterez pas.

Quelques odeurs sanitaires de remontées dans la salle de bain parfois..

•Micul dejun a fost minimal, dar gustos, conține aceleași produse zilnic, gătite diferit. Doamna de la bucătărie amabilă și drăguță. •Doamna de la curățenie a încercat tot timpul să aplaneze situație și a fost mereu amabilă. •Proprietarul a avut și momente de amabilitate,ne-a recomandat locuri unde să mergem și ne-a dat apă îmbuteliată să avem în camere în prima zi.

Problema 1: •Am ajuns la ora 1:00 AM. Am fost întâmpinați de proprietar, care încerca să fie amabil,pe un fond de agitație și grijă. Apariția lui a fost dubioasă, avea o zgârietură proaspătă pe frunte și cămașa era pătată de sânge la spate, părea ca a participat la o altercație sau accident recent, lucru care ne-a cam speriat. La această cazare am avut două rezervări una pt 3 camere (rezervată în februarie 2025) și una pentru 1 cameră (rezervată în mai 2025). Când am ajuns managerul ne-a explicat ca Booking a făcut i eroare și ca ii oprește comision 80% din valoarea sejurului și ne-a rugat să acceptăm anularea sejurului de 3 camere, doar la aceia avea o problema. Adica el din aplicație raporta Booking-ului ca nu ne-am prezentat și ca el nu dorește nici un comision de la noi, ca apoi sa ne primim banii înapoi și sa plătim toată suma cash la proprietate. Am înțeles ca nu avem de ales și am fost de acord. Impuși de situație sau nu, era drept ca trebuia sa rezolve problema cu Booking nu cu noi. A zis ca așteaptă să ne trimită booking-ul banii înapoi, pentru ca noi plătisem anticipat cu cardul. Însă a doua zi noi nu am primit confirmare de retur, nu știam dacă este o șmecherie la jumate. Managerul/proprietarul a devenit agasant și ne cerea banii. I-am explicat ca așteptăm confirmarea și vom revenii. Am sunat în țară la booking( asta a generat cost suplimentar pt apel în țară) După apel am primit confirmare de retur pe e-mail de la Booking și în ziua următoare am mers ca îi dăm banii cash proprietarului, să scăpăm ambele părți de acest stres. Însă a apărut o nouă problemă, pe motiv ca rezervarea noastră a fost prea ieftină și ca mai datorăm încă 70€, i-am explicat ca am rezervat de mult timp și am prins reducere, ca nu este problema noastră.Nu este corect sa ne ceara mai mult, dupa ce am acceptat sa se anuleze rezervarea ca să nu plătească taxe.

Nella camera abbiamo trovato delle cartacce per terra, abbiamo chiesto di andare a pulire e le hanno semplicemente raccolte con le mani. L'interruttore della luce in bagno aveva un'impronta di sangue. Non sono stati in grado di anticipare la colazione e ci hanno appeso alla porta un sacchettino.

La personne qui nous a accueilli était d'une extrême gentillesse. Nous avons la clé du Riad pour rentrer en dehors des heures d'accueil ce qui est très pratique. Nous avions une salle de bain dans notre chambre, très appréciable, spacieuse. La terrasse était également très appréciable en soirée. Présence de la climatisation dans la chambre.

La propreté du sol de la chambre serait à revoir mais ça passe.

Riad bello, personale super disponibile. Ci hanno aiutato con il parcheggio e con i bagagli. Ci hanno dato indicazioni e offerto servizi per la città. E' stato un piacevole soggiorno. Anche la cena è stata ottima e le colazioni tipiche e gustose. Bella terrazza. La zona è tranquilla, caratteristica e poco turistica, ma vicinissima alla medina vecchia e dietro il palazzo reale. A noi è piaciuta tanto e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Grazie!

C’est la deuxième fois que je viens dans ce riad et c’est toujours aussi génial ! J’ai été super bien accueilli, comme à la maison. Je suis arrivée tard et ils avaient même pensé à me préparer un repas. Toute l’équipe est chaleureuse et aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement ce lieu, autant pour l’accueil que pour le confort et l’ambiance.

Was a little bit hard to find place, but it was okay. They don’t have a wardrobe where you hang your clothes.

Très bon accueil, le petit déjeuner offert en formule genuis est simple mais bon. La serveuse était très bienveillante avec nous. Je recommande.

La chambre était immense, avec deux lits doubles séparés et une salle de bain privée. on avait un accès direct à la terrasse et le Ryad se situait seulement à 15 minutes de la médina touristique. Il était au sein du quartier juif et de la seconde médina.

Il proprietario è stato molto gentile, c’è stato un piccolo disguido con la camera e ci ha subito dato un’altra stanza.

Nel complesso la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un restauro.

Nous avons écourté notre séjour dans ce Riad qui paraissait pourtant bien entretenu sur les photos.

La chambre venait d’être repeinte, ça sentait très fort la peinture et avec une température extérieure qui avoisinait les 45 degrés, il n’était pas possible d’aérer. Nous y avons quand même séjourné une nuit mais l’odeur était beaucoup trop insupportable pour que nous y restions. La localisation du Riad a également été problématique : c’est un quartier de la médina qui craint (le gardien du parking extérieur nous l’a confirmé) et les enfants que nous croisions étaient assez irrespectueux envers les touristes. Nous avons préféré opter pour un hôtel dans la ville nouvelle.

La qualità del sevizio La pulizia del riad , del camera da letto, scarafaggi nelle stanze.( lenzuola, asciugamani .. scadente, vecchi ,sporco) Quando chiedi di fare pulire la stanza entrano ti fanno il letto con le stessi lenzuoli di giorni no li cambiano e con scarafaggi ancora in stanza no lo pulisco proprio. Odore di fognatura nel riad 24/24. Capiamo che FES medina e così, ma il riad no ne mantenuto bene Tutti i sevizio scritti su booking non sono affatti veri. La colazione sempre la stesse 1 omelette, 1 pané marochino con tanta olio , 1 bicchiere di orange. Vai sempre su questo per tutto il soggiorno come colazione prima mattina e non vi dico proprio la cucina dove preparano le colazioni come sporco con scarafaggi noi abbiamo dovuto abbandonare la colazione tipica no l'abbiamo più presa. Ci potrebbe molto migliorare sul tutto servizi. ci sta di molto meglio a FES in quelli prezzi. Grazie

La dame qui m'a accueilli était gentille, le riad est plutôt sympathique. Rapport qualité-prix plutôt bon. Je recommande mais que pour une seule nuit.

Riad vétuste, des travaux sont nécessaires... J'ai dormi dans une forte odeur de peinture qui faisait mal au crâne. La porte de la salle de bain s'est bloquée, je n'arrivais plus à y accéder. Le papier toilette doit être jeté dans la poubelle et non dans les toilettes. Je n'ai jamais réussi à fermer la porte de la chambre a clé.

Hanane was very nice and helped us with everything and answered all the questions as well. The relation quality-price was amazing. The Riad had a good location. The price included breakfast too. The room was huge and comfortable. It included shampoo and shower gel too. I can recommend this place.

The room was not clean as well as the bathroom. One side of the bed was broken and there a few other damages in the room. There was a boiler In the room making too much noise during the night. The owner was friendly but was not very helpful and tried to make more money from our transfer to the airport

Lovely building and the location is quite convenient. 10 minutes far from the medina. The host was very kind and helpful too Definitely I place I would recommend.

Quite basic breakfast

The room was big with 2 single beds, new and comfortable, also 1 double bed. The breakfast was good , Karim the staff was really good.. The place is located 15 minutes walking to the medina. Also they have a restaurant where you can have dinner if you arrive late , the food wasn't cheap but tasty.. the owner helps us to buy tickets to the train, also he offers taxi or tours if you are interested. He is a bit pushy. The unique thing that we didn't like was the smell of the drains in the room.

Hard to find and in a sketchy neighborhood. Sewer smells, old towels, restaurant right at the room’s window. If you are here to rest, better find another place.

Breakfast had a large variety of choices of hot and cold food and drinks.

The sahara dessert trip organised by them was the best one. It was a premium trip and we enjoyed it without any hassles. Location is great too! Hannan is quite helpful and she has been ALWAYS available to help. Karim (works at Riad) is VERY helpful ! Giving 3 star only for these 3 points !

Almost everything! 1. Stinky bathroom: In every room, there was a strong bad smell coming out of the bathroom (most likely sewerage leak or somethin)!! We were a big group of people and we occupied most of the rooms. Everyone had to experience stinky bathroom and it was a nightmare for us! I talked to few other guests, they had the same complain!). Although the room and bathrooms were cleaned everyday and Hannan arranged air spray for us, still it didn't help! 2. Worst breakfast (we had it included in the package): Cold omelette, typical breakfast (not self made, bought from outside. Some cheap qualities products). Worst coffee ! Some of us didn't even want to eat the breakfast in last two days!! 3. Excess price : a bottle of water costs 10 MAD while it cost 5 MAD just in the shop next to Riad !!! We did not have lunch or dinner but checked the price and everything was expensive compared to the costs in medina or anywhere outside! (Can't say about the taste since we didn't have food there) 4. Greed for money: All they care for money! For them it's all about making money! They will try to sell you the most expensive package (trips, lunch or dinner, excursion). IF you don't take these, they will keep nagging you and if you still don't, then they will treat you like you don't matter anymore! But if you buy their expensive offers, they will treat you better!! But i must mentioned that we negotiated and got the best deal for Sahara dessert trip (very comfortable and luxurious one). But the package to chefchaouen was the worst kind (terrible driver and car). While Hannan is very helpful, her husband (Sayeed) had kind of weird attitude and very unfriendly behaviour and rude manner ! At least that's what we all felt ! I wouldn't recommend this riad to be honest...

Super nice place, very beautifully decorated. Very kind and helpful host who waited up for us as we arrived a little later than anticipated and even took us to a taxi in the morning.

With a lot Charm, good hosts, amazing food and traditional rooms. If you already stay somewhere, go for the food at least.

Avoid the neighborhood at a to late hour and a bit difficult to find for Google maps. Let the road know and they'll pick you up.

Very disappointed. Could not sleep due to a noisy party directly in front of our room. My son’s room was blocked off with chairs in the doorway. We refused to stay on the remainder 2 nights but owner would not refund us. They advertise soundproof rooms, but this is not true ☹️

The room is spacious. It’s near to souq. The breakfast was good and their terrace.

It’s far from the touristy attraction. The riad is hard to navigate specially if it’s your first time to visit. I wish they will place a bedside tables and chairs in every room.

Lovely owners and staff at Riad Bel Kayed, we could really sense they were caring. The Riad itself is very beautiful, they serve breakfast, can help you find suitable parking if you're driving, arrange laundry etc. Overall the velue you get for what you pay is very good.

The rooms are a bit rough around the edges, some things like mirrors, shelving, sockets, lights etc definitely need to be fixed and due to it being an old building the plumbing in the toilet smells really bad, which is expected in a building that age but better ventilation could help.

This place was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The building and rooftop were gorgeous and the staff was super kind and welcoming. I believe that this was a family owned hotel and every person who we interacted with always had a smile. The hotel had a restaurant on the roof which served excellent Moroccan Cuisine at a fair price and the hotel was very fairly priced.

It was a little bit difficult to get to from the airport, but if you call the hotel they can help give instructions to get there. Also make sure that you get cash because all the payments that aren't made online can only be paid with either Euro or with Dirham.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, had a private bathroom which is rare in Fez. It was good value for the money.

We did have a few problems with one of the rooms on the firts night. We got the room on the top right next to the roof terrace where the restaurant was and the noise was really loud until 10 pm, but we didn't say anything as we got another room the next day (on the ground floor). There is no staff in the riad during the night. We couldn't get any breakfast or a cup of coffee before 9 am ( we did know about the breakfast time but we were hoping to get a packed breakfast). We didn't get on with the owner, his manner was not our cup ot tea as he chagned his tone with us several times during our 3 night stay.

Although there are papers on the street walls, it's not so easy to find the riad for the first time. There is nothing inside the room. No fridge, no hairdryer, no kettle.

- Woke up to start tour at 8 but ended up starting at 9:30 because of other tourists having breakfast. This is not directly related to the hotel, just indirectly.

It is very comfused to find riad. Streets are very complicated and little kids helped us a lot to find the right way. GPS not working as well.

The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and simple which is what I wanted and suits the tariff.

The riad is located in a dangerous area

Our host and his wife were brilliant, went out of their way to help us, home made food was great & traditional.

Our hosts were super attentive and helpful and their communication was spot on. They directed us to where to park bia whatsapp and and were even waiting for us to walk us to the hotel. They went above and beyond forbus throughout out our stay. The hotel itself was stunning, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Thankyou so much for a very special time! Aircon also was a true blessing in 40+ heat!
