Nepal Christian Guest House

Already wrote up another stay, but the staff allowed me and my colleague to use our rooms after check out until later in the day to accommodate late airport departures. This was really nice and offered with no charge. A rarity! Also I always love this location with all the restaurants, coffee shops, and other amenities so close. Would definitely return.

A bit of extra cleaning would be the only suggestion.

Very nicely located on a quiet street, yet near restaurants and coffee shops and a short walk to the zoo. This place is secure and the staff is helpful and want to please. I asked to change my bedding and it was done quickly and they also hung laundry out to dry for me. Very nice.

I think my room was clean enough, but it could use a little extra attention. In general the room was very comfortable.

Good location, quiet and well cared for. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were places to eat nearby, a grocery store nearby and it is nice, safe area.

There were some small things to improve: 1) explaining how the hot water works in the shower; 2) explaining the internet; 3) providing bottled water. The manager or host was kind, but not as helpful as I would have hoped.

It was in a convenient location.

The booking page had misleading information and picture. When we showed up at the property, the room with three beds and a private bathroom was not available. They put us in a different room with a detached bathroom, telling us it was private. Later, others were using the bathroom, saying that the management told them the bathroom was a public bathroom.

Location, Ambiance, surrounding

The room was so clean and the bed was really comfortable. I had the best night’s sleep that I’ve had in a long time. The staff are all so sweet and accommodating.

This is one of the only places of this kind that we’ve found with AC. Although Kathmandu usually has nice weather, sometimes you want air conditioning. The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff who run it are kind and accommodating.

Only improvement I can think of would be a water dispenser on each floor. In a place where it’s dangerous to drink the tap water, it would be good to have easily accessible drinking water.

Staff we welcoming, helpful and friendly. Felt so much peace when I walked into this space. Beautiful rooftop with beautiful view. Good for good chats. Comfortable, clean lodging. Would highly recommend. :)

The facilities were great and the host family was absolutely wonderful

The hospitality of Bikram, Preeti and their children was outstanding. The facilities were great, but the highlight was the service we received. My granddaughter said that of all the places she visited in Nepal, the guesthouse was her favorite! The breakfasts were also consistently delicious.

The service was excellent. Bikram and Preeti were friendly and went out of their way to meet every need, demonstrating their Christian commitment and values . The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We were traveling as a family and the facilities were well designed to accommodate children. Location is central and transportation was easy to find. This was also an exceptional value!

One suggestion would be to have a small booklet available to guests with a local map, suggested local restaurants and shops, policies regarding facility usage (drinking water location, how to dial local phone numbers), etc.

Bikram and Preeti do an excellent job running the guesthouse. they are very friendly and accommodating.

The addition of a few more water geysers would be a nice addition however we were able to use the showers on other floors during the unexpected cloudy weather. The solar hot water was amazing once the clouds cleared.
