Sehr nette Vermieter, unglaublich freundlich.Total einsam, auf einem Hügel, umgeben von Schafen, Sonnenuntergang auf der einen Seite, Sonnenaufgang auf der anderen. Super gemütlich, modern und super sauber. Grillplatz vorhanden, auch Geschirr und es wird ein tolles Frühstück angeboten. Toaster, Wasserkocher, kleiner Kühlschrank

Etwas schwierig dort zu essen, man will ja nichts dreckig machen.

Everything! Lovely bunkhouse and the view is amazing. The room was spotless and very homey. My daughter loves the bunkbed and ours was very comfy. Host Karen is very accommodating and lovely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very clean, modern facilities and bathroom, and we felt very comfortable in the Bunkhouse. It was warm for our winter ski stay, and had a great view of the surrounding mountains, forests, and farmlands. They even provided an outdoor BBQ area where you can sit and watch the stars. Very lovely owners, so helpful.

Very friendly, great breakfast. Beautiful views. Happy we stayed with Karen for skiing at Hanmer and Lyford.

The Bunkhouse was a perfect stop off on our journey. The sleepout was bright, clean and everything we needed for our stay. Some small but thoughtful details. Karen was very friendly and welcoming.

The bunkhouse was very comfortable and clean. The owners have clearly put a lot of love into setting it up. The view and serenity make it a great location, away from the noises of town. Would definitely stay again.

Wir wurden herzlich begrüsst. Die Unterkunft, Einrichtung war super. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Wenn es wolkenlos ist, kann man den Klaren Sternenhimmel geniessen.

De locatie is geweldig. Prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk rustig. Vriendelijke eigenaren die open staan voor een praatje. Mooi huisje met een goed bed en mooie badkamer. Ik was er maar 1 nacht maar had graag meer nachten gebleven.

Het toevoegen van een magnetron maakt het net wat makkelijker. Gelukkig wilde de eigenares mijn soep opwarmen dus dat was erg fijn.

The accommodation was awesome and the view was amazing, we got to see a beautiful sunset. Karen was very nice to us and the breakfast was amazing and very affordable.

The driveway could benefit with a little TLC, especially at the bottom where there was a big puddle.

Loved the view, the location, the clean modern architecture and furnishings. The bunkhouse's gigantic windows made you feel you were right in the middle of the fabulous landscape.

Bunk bed was too short for our son, and we could have done with a few more things to heat and prepare food with, though we understand that the hosts may not have intended to have the space as a self-contained unit with cooking facilities.

breathtaking views, set right on top of a working hill farm and offers incredibly beautiful, scenic surroundings. Waking up to such a stunning view was a real highlight of our stay. It was far more beautiful than we expected—actually much better than what’s shown in the pictures.

Fantastisk bemötande av Karen och hennes man. Vi fick hjälp med grillen. Sedan berättade dom att vi bara kunde lämna disken. Rummet var så fräscht och smakfullt inrett. Badrummet likaså. Sängen och kuddarna var helt fantastiska att sova i. Vi hade en egen uteplats med grill och bord och stolar eller så kunde vi sitta under tak. Miljön var så avkopplande med vackra berg och får som gick och betade. På morgonen kom Karen med den frukost vi hade beställt. Fanns flera olika saker att välja på.

The breakfast was perfect thank You, the view was lovely. Quiet and piecefull, the sheep added a warm feeling. The hosts respected our privacy, they were very professional. We will stay again. Everything was just beautifull. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Thank You

With all due respect, we love tranquility, but a TV would be a plus and perhaps a microwave so we could heat a ready meal.

What a gorgeous house, nestled in the bush with a beautiful lush view. The house had everything, coffee, washing machine, fire place, microwave, and was set up perfectly for our family. We loved every moment, the only disappointing thing was that we didn’t stay longer!!

We couldn’t figure out the rubbish situation. We do a lot of recycling, soft plastics and food scraps but couldn’t quite decipher which bin was which outside.

Well presented self contained accommodation with a lovely view. Very comfy bed, fitted out to sleep up to five using bunks. All beds are in one room with a large shower room off. No, there aren’t any cooking facilities, just a kettle for hot drinks, but this is clearly stated in the description. There is no dining table etc so it would be awkward to sit and eat unless you use the Bbq area outside. There are limited places to get food in Waiau or you can stop before you arrive. I spent the afternoon in Hanmer so was no issue at all. Host is lovely and the optional breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Great value for money.

The location was absolutely beautiful, and Karen, our host, made us feel so welcome and at home. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back!

Everything was so nice. The Bunkhouse was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and so cute. The hosts were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, served on the cutest trays, while enjoying the morning sun and the beautiful view from the covered deck. Overall , a wonderful stay.

Had a bit of an issue with the BBQ control but spoke to the hosts and we fixed that! No problem!

Was a bit unusual not to have even the most basic kitchen facilities, but we managed. A sink by the bbq perhaps? A wifi extender or another node. A reliable connection is a must these days.

Graeme and Karen are wonderful hosts. We loved the super comfy bed and the room was so nicely presented. We cooked on the BBQ and ate breakfast in the sun. The view was also impressive.
