Beautiful interior, clean and tidy. Comfortable room with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, kettle and fridge. Fantastic breakfast with home made cakes, pastries and pies.

Parking can be problematic, not a fault of the property per se but something to consider if arriving by car. Tip, rent the smallest car you can to suit your needs, the streets in this part of Portugal are very narrow.

É como estar em casa com todos os cuidados a que fomos habituados pelas nossas mães e avós, aquele carinho pela manhã ao sentarmo-nos na mesa do pequeno almoço e sermos apaparicados como se na casa dos pais ou avós estivéssemos, assim nos sentimos principalmente porque tínhamos conosco o nosso filho de 7 meses que adorou a atenção e a comidinha que com tanto amor e dedicação lhe prepararam. Muita hospitalidade aliás característica desta zona do Alentejo fez com que nos sentíssemos em família.

Uma casa repleta de história e de caráter; deslumbrantes pormenores arquitetónicos e interessantes elementos decorativos; agradável terraço e lindos pormenores florais. Quarto espaçoso, com frigorífico e chaleira; de ressalvar a cortesia da dona da casa: bebidas ao fresco e umas trufas de chocolate. Não esquecer o faustoso pequeno almoço bem guarnecido com diferentes qualidades de pão, viennoiseries, queijos, laticínios, sumos de fruta, e o incrível pão de ló com mirtilos e crumble - uma delícia. Incrível a preocupação da dona da casa em garantir que tudo estava ao nosso gosto. Gostamos de tudo.

O colchão da cama um pouco duro para quem sofre de fibromialgia.

What a lovely place, decorated with love, the classical furniture, paintings on all walls, beautiful roof terrace, great host, delicious truffles as a welcome in the fridge.

The place is almost perfect, would be perfect with a mattress topper on the mattresses, that are rather hard.

This beautiful traditional house was the perfect place to relax and take in the tranquility of alentejo ... we were made to feel like we were their only guests and had one to one service ., the owner went beyond what was needed to make us comfortable .. we would recommend this beautiful place very highly... and will definitely be back

Beautiful house, magnificently furnished like a palace, centrally located. Very friendly and attentive host, ensuring that all our requirements were met. Breakfast was delicious and local produce was showcased.

Great location at city center near monuments and restaurants. Free parking in the suroundings available round the clock. Spatious and confortable room well furbished with precious pieces of furniture and decor. Spectacular 360º views from the large rooftop, specitially at sun set and in the evening. Splendid breackfast, experiencing local simple but exquisit food amenities. Perfect hosting durind all stay.

The room needs comfort improvements

We were treated impeccably, with a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb, plentiful and a variety beautifully presented and intuition about scrambled eggs for the English guest! The room was spacious, shower superb and welcome drinks in the mini-fridge,v welcome. The house itself is grand with interesting artwork. A large roof top terrace completes the experience. Thank you so much.

Nothing

Localization was key and the fact of being very close to car park was a bonus. It was quite an experience sleeping in a ex-manor house. Veronica (staff) was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was tidy and clean as expected. What really surprised us was the size of the room! We've comfortably could get in and out with a baby pram. There is a roof top terrace with great views. Honestly, it is worth the visit.

There's room for improvement at the entrance (repainting the original motives) and restoration of the facade but we understand that may take awhile. We believe it is more urgent to replace the shower box: it's modern but it doesn't work! We'd recommend to replace to a walking shower (not a box) with very basic on and off tap. This is us justifying a 9 instead of a 10. Things might have changed by the time we revisit the Solar.
