Familia Guesthouse & Boutique Hotel

I liked everything about my stay, they'll definitely see me again on a monthly basis.

All I'd suggested is that the cleaning staff respect the guests and not slam the gates and shout at each other along the corridors after 5pm.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

The lady who welcomed us was amazing

The lady who welcomed us was amazing.. The staff at breakfast were awesome too..

This must be the best kept secret in Groblersdal. Well-appointed rooms and facilties, excellent food. Breakfast is included, but 200 ZAR for a full meal prepared by the chef is a bargain. Stunning property.

The elevator music on a loop in the dining room was hard on my nerves! Silence would work just as well. Each to his or her own.

Everything was just perfect, my go to in Groblersdal Breakfast and dinner are delicious

I had to sleep in the car because I was not allowed access to the property.!I was not aware that they dont do checkins after 9 pm when doing the booking and I found myself driving around the prooerty without assistance after 10pm . I called the number indicated on the small gate several times without reply! I had car breakdonwn earlier and that hence the booking at this property. MY EXPERIENCE WAS TERIBLE ON THE DAY

Really enjoyed my stay here. The lady at reception is so friendly. The room was clean and well stocked. Would recommend.

Dear Management. I would like to share some constructive feedback regarding my recent stay.My wife and I have stayed at your guest house approximatley five times in the past and have always enjoyed the friendly service, attention to detail, and willingness of the staff to assist with any request.During our most recent visit, however, the overall experience was different. The staff member currently in charge appeared to be overwhelmed and uncertain when dealing with guest requests.I believe x may simply require additional support, guidance,or management training to help x perform x role with confidence.I am sharing this feedback beacause I value your establishment and would like to see it continue providing the excellent service that has always encourage us to return.Thank you for taking this feedback in the constructive spirit in witch it is intended. Have a wonderful day.

Excellent stay, great rooms and environment with a bar on the premises as well as safe parking. Attentive and friendly staff. Great breakfast.

The gate didn’t open freely. There was a lot of noise very early in the morning

Breakfast was good and there was variety to choose from. Buffet is always the best.

Lately there's also beef bacon. For people not eating pork, it becomes an alternative. I wonder if you have access to it.

A truly beautiful place, ideal for relaxation and peace of mind. The chef prepares delicious meals, and every breakfast and dinner was thoroughly enjoyed

.Our stay began with a very unpleasant check‑in experience. We waited outside for hours while calls were ignored, and when finally admitted, no apology was offered, only the remark that ‘these things happen for a reason.’ We chose to let that pass to enjoy our stay. Later, our dinner order was not placed, and when my husband enquired, a loud argument broke out between the same staff member and the chef. The shouting in front of guests was unprofessional, and physical aggression toward the chef was unacceptable. I understand that everyone can have a difficult day, but professionalism is essential when dealing with clients. We chose peace instead of reacting, but this situation highlighted the need for better etiquette and respect in guest service.

This is my go to place, each time I am in Groblersdal I always sleep there.

Lovely breakfast, whole place is tranquil

Beautiful venue 😍

The pillows on the bed is too thick sorry ;)

We love to stay here as it is comfortable and clean and quiet. The gardens are beautiful and the staff friendly.

This time around we experienced a lack of service though. We had to ask for service more than once at the bararea but hopefully there is a good reason for?

Lovely service, pool area and the food

Breakfast was 100% perfect... Location (surrounding) not so attractive, but the place itself is amazing. Rooms and the yard were very clean and safe. The Staff was also great, always happy to help with a smile.
