This is a beautiful place to stay. Large comfortable rooms with stunning views. Lakmal and all other staff were really friendly and welcoming-and were on hand to help if needed. The decor and amenities were really beautifully done. Thanks for a lovely stay,

L’établissement est situé dans une zone assez calme à l’extérieur de Kandy. Une très belle vue depuis le balcon. Le personnel est accueillant et au petit soin pour que le séjour soit agréable. Le petit déjeuner est complet et très bon.

La maintenance et l’entretien des bâtiments et installations sont à améliorer. La salle de bain n’est pas très agréable et mérite une rénovation.

Небольшая вилла на горе на 3 номера. Балкон в отличным видом на долину и горы (были в семейном номере). Очень отзывчивый и приветливый персонал. По приезду принесли свежевыжатый соки и печенья (делали потом так каждый день). Вкусные завтраки (можно сказать свои предпочтения и приготовят то, что вам по вкусу). Были омлет, тосты, масло, джемы, блинчики с начинкой, роти и т.д. соки, чай, кофе. Два раза ужинали в отеле, один раз нам готовили ланкийскую кухню, второй раз индийскую (просили сделать не остро).

The host who was waiting for us, cooked for us and was taking care of everything.

The drain / sink in the shower was full of hair of the previous client. Disgusting .The door for the balcony was not opening, the hot water needed 4 hours to fill the bathtub with water , also in the shower you couldn’t easily take your shower with hot water. There was not light blocking curtains and as a result you were waking up from 06.00 am due to the sun light. All the building needs renovation if the owner wants to charge 100 usd per night. The only accommodation in Sri Lanka that was not a value for money choice

La posizione dell'hotel sapevamo essere defilata e l'abbiamo scelta per quello. La struttura non ha tante stanze e questo per me è garanzia di tranquillità, e relax. La stanza era molto grande, abbastanza attrezzata, biancheria da letto e da bagno ben pulita. Il signor Regus, proprietario e il suo collaboratore sono stati oltremodo gentili e disponibili. La colazione è davvero gustosa e abbondante, sono pronti a rispondere di qualsiasi richiesta. Per due sere abbiamo comunque fatto a piedi il tragitto per arrivare su all'hotel dalla strada principale, è più che fattibile, ovviamente non con le valigie. Consiglio certamente questa struttura.

Ciò che non abbiamo apprezzato purtroppo non dipende dall'hotel, ma vicino c'è una moschea che alle 4,45 del mattino richiama a gran voce i fedeli. Ecco, non è piacevolissimo, però basta munirsi di tappi per le orecchie e il rumore arriva abbastanza attutito. Per fortuna li avevamo e alla seconda notte è stato decisamente di meno disturbo.

Camera grande e pulita, arredata con con gusto come spazi comuni. Speciale accoglienza e gentilezza da parte di Vijitha, che è anche un ottimo cuoco

Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Au calme tout en profitant de la proximité de Kandy. Excellente nourriture préparée par le manager. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse.

Tolles Personal, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und untergebracht. Der Ausblick war ausgezeichnet. Uns wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt, sehr hilfreich, sehr freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen, wenn wir in Sri Lanka sind. Man sollte nicht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus den Augen verlieren, es ist eine Unterkunft der Natur Nahe gelegen, der faszinierenden Aussicht auf die Berge, und keine Scheu vor Kleintiere wie Ghekos haben. Ein herzliches Dankeschön nochmal.

Very steep road to get to the property

We’ve been here only for one night but the owner made us feel home immediately. He welcomed us with a delicious fresh mint tea and fruits and arranged everything we needed for our departure. For breakfast we had fresh home made amazing food. The room was big and comfortable with an amazing view on the nature. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room was large, spotless, and neatly arranged, with a lovely bathroom and a spacious balcony overlooking stunning mountain views—perfect for relaxing. The Sri Lankan dinner was truly fabulous—so much delicious food, more than we could finish! Breakfast was equally impressive, with both English and Sri Lankan options that we absolutely loved. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations.

The guesthouse is an absolutely beautiful building just outside of the noise of Kandy. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! The manager cooked us the most amazing meal on the first night. It was truly incredible, easily the nicest meal we had in Kandy. The room was beautiful with stunning views over the hills and they brought us coffee on the balcony to enjoy the view. The room and bathroom were absolutely huge! The staff were absolutely amazing, and made the stay an incredible experience. They also helped to arrange transport to Ella for us. Would highly recommend this accomodation!

The only downside was the water pressure was not too strong g in the shower, but I think this is very typical at all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka

I greatly enjoyed my stay here. I was treated to the exceptional culinary skills of Vijitha. The delicious and healthy meals are a compelling reason to stay at the Kandy Casa. The hill top accommodation is well sited in a peaceful location.

The property was located up a steep hill just outside of the main area of Kandy. Very easy to drive to if you have a rental or a driver. Beautifully kept and would recommend if looking for a relaxing environment without bother. The hosts were incredibly nice and couldn't do enough. This was 1 of 10 locations my family visited on a 17-day trip and can say we genuinely loved the place.

Great size rooms and bathroom but unfortunately there is no vent to release moisture which made the room damp. Nothing else bad to say about this great place.

The food was exceptional. We got a beautiful multi-course meal cooked just for our group and even got a packed lunch free of charge for our train trip the next day. The room was very spacious with an amazing view of the valley below.

The villa is set on a high hills and overlooks beautifully the mountains and the Buddha statue. We stayed in the room with the bathtub and it’s a gorgeous room, very spacious and with amazing light. But besides the room and the view, the highlight of this place is his manager and chef: Vijitha. He is a god send and will make your stay feel royal. His cooking is amazing (we even could watch and learn a bit) and he is full of attentions and smile and goodness. I got an injury during my stay and he was my doctor and it’s thanks to him that I could continue my trip. Book at least 2 nights if you can, you will not regret it.

Vijitha is an exceptional cook. Make sure you have an evening meal here. Very attentive kind hosts who were very helpful every time we needed something. Large room. Large delicious breakfast.

It would be nice if they made up the room each day

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered a fantastic view. A special thanks to Mr. Vijitha, who was incredibly kind and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We were also happy to receive a free upgrade to a suite with a bathtub, which made our stay even more luxurious.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property manager and cook prepared delicious dinner and breakfast for us every day. He provided access to a guide tour and any additional information requested.

What we didn’t like about the property is that the bathroom ceiling was created by 2 pieces of plastic, allowing all type of bugs and spiders to get in the room. Same as mosquitos. When we escalated to the reservation manager for a compensation because the room does not correspond to a “deluxe room”which is what we paid for, he asked us to cancel our reservation in order to refund us one night; to avoid Booking’s commissions. We denied as we understand that this is happening frequently, and no bad reviews are being shown, cheating future customers. The thing is that in that floor of the house there are 3 bedrooms; 2 with bathroom completed but one like ours. So if you are lucky enough to get one of the two who are actually a deluxe room everything is fine, if not it’s a complete disaster.

The property had extremely large and comfortable rooms with fantastic views from the balcony. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the loveliest of our trip so far. The breakfast was amazing, so much food, so fresh and delicious. Our children felt comfortable and happy here.

Nothing we didn’t like apart from not being able to have dinner there because I didn’t confirm in the day whether we were eating there for certain. Our host was extremely apologetic that we couldn’t eat with him.

Superb stay the hotel is great. Very large rooms super clean witj really comfy beds. Great views just outside of kandy city. The food was amazing the owner/manager is the chef. We had dinner on Christmas day he said it was chicken curry and rice. Omg it was a real feast lots of veggies dhaal fish curry chicken curry lovely Breads and potatoes. Fab value for money breakfast was delicious too. We all loved the hospitality shown to us. Only a £1.50 tuk tuk ride into the city which is super busy.

Both hosts were great, the breakfast is excellent. They ran a cooking class for us and the outcome was very tasty. Room was clean and huge, nice bath and shower. Will sort out travel into the city with recommendations.

The water pressure from the shower and bathtub was not the best

Our room was impeccably clean and the location was very peaceful. Looking out from the balcony there is a sea of greenery. Vijitha and Thushan spoilt us, cooking great quality food for breakfast and dinner, and even packing food for our long train journey ahead. This was the best food we have had in Sri Lanka! I could not recommend Kandy Casa more highly.

This guesthouse truly took my breath away! The food including a beautiful tasting dinner was the best I have had during my trip. The room is beautifully decorated with a newly renovated bathroom and the balcony is overlooking the mystic, majestic mountains. The manager (and exquisite chef!) is super kind and he even helped me to buy spices. I had my most picturesque breakfast view at this place. Wish I could have stayed longer!

I had a wonderful stay at Kandy Casa villa. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city, which made it very peaceful. The view from the hotel is amazing. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and the bathrooms are very clean. The rooms are large and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. The staff were very helpful and kind. I had a wound on my leg and they took care of it, putting medicine on it for two days. Their kindness made my stay even better. Everything is is perfect, Kandy Casa villa is a superb place to stay in Kandy. I highly recommend it!

The rooms are super spacious and lovley, the view (and sounds in the morning) from the balcony are fantastic. You are so taken care off, that you feel like at home. And strongly recommended to order dinner in the hotel - the best and the biggest variety of curry you can get! And despite you are on a hill, Vijitha will organise all sort of transport to see Kandy and around:)

There was not enough hot water for the bath, unfortunately the bath was rather a thing of beauty. There were no chairs to sit on the balcony. The room smelled a bit.

The staff! Vijay and his friend made this stay much more pleasant than we ever expected!. The dinners each day were delicious and the only problem was handling the size of each meal. We felt as if we were home, the views from the room were amazing, everything was spot on!

Lovely quiet property with amazing staff - thank you so much Vijitha and Kalum for looking after us. You made us feel so welcome and comfortable - and the breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing! The rooms are exceptionally large with a fan and AC unit. The bathrooms are bright and modern - ours also had a huge bathtub in which was such a treat! The views from the balcony are breathtaking - you really feel like you are in nature here but only a few minutes from the city. Very close to Kandy main town with all it;s attractions and restaurants/bars. If you are looking to stay in Kandy this is a great choice!

The house looks really good, the rooms are very spacious, with amazing views and huge bathrooms. Loved the place. The team there is very kind and nice, very helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. The locations is a bit isolated but that gives the great view of Kandy and the mountains around.

The room is spacious, the bed and sofa are comfortable and the bathroom is spectacular. The view from the room is somewhat limited as it was a partial side view of the valley. You need to step out on to the balcony to see it properly. The breakfast that came with the room was good.

There were little in the way of amenities to make our stay that more comfortable and homely, such as a box of tissues, coffee/ tea making facilities, fridge or even side tables and lamps eg for reading in bed. The property is also a bit out of the way. The hotel quoted LKR1000 for tuk tuk transport to Kandy city center. We opted for a PickMe ride which cost LKR394. On the return trip our PickMe tuk tuk somehow could not find the way to the hotel. Fortunately our Google Maps helped.

This hotel was the best we stayed so far in Sri Lanka. First of all the rooms are so beautiful. Tall ceilings, modern royal style decoration and the view from the room - pictures don’t do justice for it. After this beautiful first impression the best thing turned out to be the staff. The owners were so kind and helpful people. They put so much effort to make us feel appreciated. They even gave my boyfriend parasetamol when he had a headaiche. They put an effort arrangeing the tuktuks for us and made sure they don’t overprice us. Breakfast was also very great!

Hotel is a little far away from the city center, but the view makes up for it in my opinion!

I recently stayed at Kandy Casa Boutique Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The hotel room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, and it was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast - it was truly fabulous! The breakfast included a variety of Western and local dishes such as eggs, sausage, bread, jam, butter, fruits, fruit juice, coconut rotti, string hoppers, coconut sambal, lentil curry, chicken curry, tea, and coffee. It was definitely a big breakfast for us, but we loved every bit of it. The quality and taste of the food were exceptional. Lastly, I have to mention Jagath, who made our stay very comfortable. He was always available to help with anything we needed, and his friendly and welcoming demeanor added to the overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend Kandy Casa Boutique Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Kandy with stunning views, excellent food, and exceptional service.

What really sets Casa apart, however, is the friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are comfortable and happy. My child had an amazing time here and the staff were very accommodating to their needs.

It was an AMAZING stay, such a clean and beautiful house! A kind of colonial style mixed with modern and zen atmosphere. I loved the place, the breakfast was tasty and diverse, fruits, eggs, breads, saucisses, sandwiches, jams, cofffes,…. Etc. Now, Jalal, our host is such a beautiful human being, so helping with everything, washing clothes, buying drinks. Sincerely, if I can I would give it a 100+!

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The staff is so helpful and make you feel like you're at home. The room is spacious and was very clean when we arrived. We specially liked the view from our room, overseeing the mountains. Strongly recommended if you're in Kandy!

This place is love at first sight ❤️.. So thoughtfully decorated and impeccably maintained. Our flight was rescheduled to a red eye and we reached this place very tired but we were really amazed by it. Very friendly staff and very helpful. They kept the room ready for our early check-in and we were so happy. You get lovely view of the mountain and a Buddha statue. The breakfast spread is amazing with lot of varieties and good taste (fruits, juice, breads, omletes, some local dishes and curries). The staff suggested us to visit some nearby tourist spots and we were very thankful to them for letting us know, because we saw some amazing places. Location wise it is a little away from the lake but it was okay for us since we had hired a car. Public transport might be a bit diffcut but the staff are super helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay experience really the best. Highly recommended for your stay in Kandy.

The lodge was very well equipped and the cleanliness literally amazed. They prepared us such a rich breakfast that it was impossible to eat in two people. Everything was perfect and we thank you again for such a wonderful experience! ❤️🙏🏻☀️🌷
