Stairs and remove shoes sign. Used to be fair value at $11 but not $15+ Now lots of good competition in the $15-20 range.

La chambre était limite en terme de propreté générale. Les sanitaires ubuesques et pas d'eau chaude ou même tiède. Très très bruyant à cause du quartier. La chambre la plus chère de notre séjour de 20 jours au Cambodge et de très loin la moins bien.

The friendly staff. The owner Ramio and his wife are the perfect hosts.

Not enough words can explain the experience. The location right on the river makes it a perfect place for breakfast and dinners. The food was exceptional. A real family feel. The owner Ramio assisted me with every query I had.

L'emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel. L'hôtel est familial, on se sent comme à la maison. J'ai utilisé les services de leur chauffeur et de son tuk tuk et j'ai fait de superbes excursions !

Room smelled really damp. Water leaking from the sink to the floor in the room. Water dripping from the roof in the stairs. Motorbike i rented from them was shit.

Mooie ligging, heel centraal, aan de hoofdstraat en aan het water.

Kamer met uitzicht betekende wel kamer met veel geluid van buiten. Maar kon gelukkig makkelijk ruilen voor kamer zonder raam.

Plutôt très bien placé dans le centre de compote rien à redire.

Dans la douche pas d'eau chaude et câble électrique apparent quand vous prenez la douche donc risque de électrocution

It was okay. The staff helped me a lot with the motorbike because I had to change it three times during my stay, as it kept having issues. But they fixed the problem every time without charging me anything.

I suggest cleaning a little more and putting mattress covers in the bed because it’s a bit disgusting and unhygienic only with a sheet!

This is such an incredibly well run place. The staff are friendly, helpful, energic and speak English. My room was spotlessly clean. I really like it when I find these basic, no frills rooms where I don't have to pay for things I don't need, like Tv etc. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious, and the shower was hot. The WiFi was excellent. There is a nice bar and restaurant downstairs, also tables where you can plug in and get things done. The location is superb, right in the old town and just across the street from the river. (The location on maps.me was a bit wrong, so the river front location came as a bonus to me)

Rooms were large but nowhere to put clothes. Bed, table, 1 chair. Bathroom ok but no shelf for toiletries Extensive menu but food was bland Wifi very poor. Have to change wifi for each floor. Wifi speed 1-10 mbs.

The rooms was as expected. The location is really good. If I would have booked a room with the window, the view might be stunning.

There was no noice isoloation for the room door. However, with the low price tag attached, I could not expect more.

'Good Morning Kampot' is a work in progress and is progressing very well, under good management and well trained staff. 'Covid 19' was a setback for budget hotels worldwide but GMK is powering on. Location is spot on for - people watching - sunset watching - and slamming a few beers while chatting to a diverse bunch of locals and travelers. Kitchen turns out some good stuff at a good price. Rooftop is worth the effort, (lots of stairs) I recommend - I'll be back....

Beautiful, scenic location overlooking the river. The boardwalk is just across the street! Onsite restaurant/cafe/tour services. Located in foreigner friendly area within walking distance of convenience (7-Eleven and Darawin) and grocery stores and international restaurants and bars (some open until 3 or 4AM), 24/7 reception, English speaking reception staff who generally address issues and requests in a timely manner. They provided requested minibar for small additional fee as well as a power bar with long extension cord to help provide lighting in bathroom. Spacious area with tables at front to enjoy river views along with a drink or meal. Decent water pressure and air conditioning. Extra wall fan also provided. Space on rooftop where you are allowed to cook.

Really wanted to like this place. Older facilities that are in a state of disrepair. Rotting wooden bathroom doors that can only be partially closed. Water damage, stains, and mould on walls, floors and ceilings. No ventilation fan or lighting (!!!) in the bathroom requiring me to rig up temporary lighting. Extremely slippery bathroom floor with broken glass on it that cause a foot injury--see pictures of glass retrieved from bathroom after injury. Frequent power outages but only for the hotel and not the neighbors. Wifi issues. Frequent strong smell of cigarette smoke. Blue plastic cap on water pipe next to water heater bursting open causing pressurized water to come out into the washroom like a firehose--see picture. One of the lightbulbs exploded when turned on spraying glass everywhere. Broken mirror in washroom. Toilet bowl with brown stains and mould growing where toilet attaches to floor. Unsightly plastic tubes sticking out from walls and ceilings of bathroom. Totally loose toilet seat and cover. Windows that do not close and lock properly/easily. No blankets or comforters provided and instead what looks like a thin linen bedsheet is provided for warmth. Bathroom sink was blocked and water would not drain so ended up not using it the entire stay.

Close to town centre. Room was very clean .nice river views. Need to ask for a Riverview room. Aircon was good. As was the fan..staff were just so helpful. The rainy season made the stay a bit sad. But ok.

The hot shower played up a little bit. May need some service done. The guesthouse is a little bit outdated. But good value. For budget traveller

Great view of the lagoon, comfortable chairs outside the hotel. Friendly front desk manager. The room was pretty clean.

Very, very bad service from the restaurant staff. We waited for an hour to be served in an almost empty restaurant. The waiter was mostly on his mobile phone ignoring customers.

In the first room the internet did not work, which is important since I work online. After I told the staff they moved us to a different room with good internet connection.

The location was good but that was about it my room was advertised with a TV the TV did not work the room had no window so was a bad smell. I think they have better rooms but are quite expensive with a window or balcony
