The restaurant and coffee shop downstairs was really nice and breakfast was included up the menu which is amazing and delicious so you could get a really nice breakfast with a proper coffee of your choice.

Everything was great. The bathroom was across the hall, which is not ideal, but I had a key to it and it was my own so no complaints. There was free coffee. The place is nice. The people are amazing. The location is great. The values great the bed was massive very comfortable. I was very happy to find the place.

Great location, spacious room, super communication from the staff, microwave and fridge in the lounge area were helpful.

The apartment shows some signs of wear and tear, minimal sunlight from the window.

I had a fantastic stay at Hygge House. The property itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard throughout our visit. Its location in Avenidas Novas made getting around Lisbon incredibly convenient and stress-free. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional host communication and attentive service. Fresh towels were provided promptly whenever requested. Any minor inquiries or issues were responded to immediately, and the host even took the extra initiative to call and follow up to ensure everything had been resolved to our satisfaction. That level of genuine care and proactive communication made a huge difference in our trip. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a seamless, comfortable stay in Lisbon—we would love to return!

It's a very big luxurious room with everything you need. Personnel is very welcoming. And was very accomodating for a broken AC (big thanks Soraia). She was helping out we any questions we had with good recommendations. The breakfast in Hygge Cafe is outstanding.

My room was next to the corridor and reception. So all the noise from the corridor and reception I would hear (this is uncomfortable in the morning)

Spotless clean, all necessary item at hand. Coffe, tea, coffe machine, microvawe, kettle shared for guests use. Hygge provided water, cinnamon rola and bananas! Two metro stations few steps away.

We had one rainy day…

Very convenient location near the Metro stop. The room with the attached bathroom was bright, cosy and spacious. There was a possibility to leave our luggage when we checked out.

It was a bit noisy as it was located on the street side, with garbage collection and a café underneath, and right next to the main entrance to Hygee Studio. There was also occasionally an unpleasant smell in the hallway.

O barulho. Ficámos no quarto 1 (Standard Suite) e tivemos bastante barulho, tanto da rua como do próprio espaço. Ouvem-se os carros e, de manhã, o barulho dos funcionários a arrumar os bancos da cafetaria que fica por baixo do quarto (a cafetaria é muito boa!). Também se ouve bastante o movimento da receção, que fica mesmo no corredor perto do quarto. Eles disponibilizam tampões para os ouvidos, o que é um gesto simpático, mas, na realidade, o barulho é bastante e acaba por afetar o descanso.

En primer lugar, la habitación tenía un gran olor a cañería que provenía del cuarto de baños. Que era muy desagradable a la hora de dormir. A su vez se podía escuchar absolutamente todo de las habitaciones de al lado y del pasillo. Lo que quita mucha intimidad.

Situado en un barrio muy muy tranquilo. Y a un paseo del centro. La decoración, la limpieza, la habitación enorme con una cama super cómoda, King size y doble almohada ( importante para mí). El baño grande también, con todo lo necesario para el aseo personal. Todo impecable y muy tranquilo para poder descansar perfectamente, nada de ruido. El personal muy atento, hubo una confusión y me la resolvieron estupendamente sin falta de yo tener que estar pendiente, todo lo contrario fueron ellos quienes la resolvieron y estuvieron muy atentos y pendientes de resolverla. Algo también a tener en cuenta. Nos ha encantado y volveremos sin dudarlo. Al lado está la cafetería hygge café donde ponen unos desayunos tipo brunch impresionantes y baratos. Lo dicho. Felicidades! Por llevar el negocio como lo lleváis y hacer sentir a los clientes como en casa sin preocupaciones. Un saludo

Gute Lage ganz in der Nähe der Metro, minimalistisch eingerichtetes Zimmer.

Abgestandener Geruch beim betreten der Unterkunft, im Zimmer ebenso recht schlechte Luft, nur kleines Fenster in einer Nische. Bad zeigt Alterspuren mit aufgequollenen Fußleisten. Bad nur spartanisch vom Bett abgegrenzt durch Glastür die nicht ganz dicht ist. Licht und Geräusche aus dem Bad sind dadurch im Zimmer 1:1 präsent. Für das was man bekommt recht teuer, hier wird versucht das antiquierte hygge Image aus einem ganz anderen Land zu nutzen. Vorsicht vor dem gleichnamigen Café vor der Tür! Absolut überteuert und mittelmäßige Qualität. Warum sowas in Portugal?

We stayed in Room 6, which was very spacious and had a private bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference during the hot July days. When we arrived on our first day, it was Saturday, so there was no one at the reception desk. However, they had left a note asking guests to contact them via WhatsApp. We did, and they responded almost immediately. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and returned later to check in once our room was ready at the scheduled check-in time. During the week-days the staff was available instantly. The location of the hotel was a big plus. The neighborhood was quiet, you felt safe due to three locked doors, not overly touristy, and conveniently located near three metro stations, making it easy to reach the city center. There was also a supermarket just a short walk from the hotel. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were replaced upon request. Another advantage is the Hygge Kafé downstairs, where you can enjoy a coffee or have breakfast without having to look for a place nearby.

Although the room was very clean and spacious, there was a persistent sewage smell. Each day it became worse. We had to keep opening the window to let in some fresh air, but then we had to close it again to prevent insects from getting in and to keep the room cool with the air conditioning. This was a major downside of our stay, as the smell never completely went away. Outside the window was a small courtyard that was under construction. Every day, from early in the morning until the evening, there was construction work taking place, creating a significant amount of noise, even with the window closed. There was also a coffee machine and a refrigerator in a small shared area outside the rooms, which was a nice addition. However, this was not clearly mentioned in the room description. We also needed access to a freezer, but there wasn't one available. Another thoughtful gesture was that the staff left us a pastry from the café downstairs each day. Unfortunately, it was stale rather than fresh. Overall, our stay was comfortable. The room was clean, the communication with the staff was excellent whenever we needed assistance, and the location was very convenient. However, the persistent sewage smell significantly affected our overall experience and overshadowed many of the hotel's positive aspects. Because of this issue, we do not feel that the price of the room was justified. If this problem is resolved, we believe the stay would be excellent.

The theme of the hotel is nice and it’s located right next to a great cafe also called Hygge. The location overall was good!

It had a really bad smell everywhere, AC did not properly work and was damaged (woke us up at night), also it was not suuuper clean (we Came across some insects). We would not recommend or come back.

The apartments are easy to find and in a convenient location close to the metro, with several shopping centers and cafes right nearby. Access to the apartment through the ground floor is safe, the hallway is tidy, and the receptionist is available during the day to help with any questions. There is free, delicious coffee, fruit, and pastries. The room features a very comfortable double bed with soft bedding and towels.

The room is quite bleak, with only one window facing a closed, messy courtyard. There was a terrible sewage smell, especially in the mornings. I informed the receptionist about it, and she kindly took the initiative to call a technician in the evening, but the smell didn't go away. In the mornings, I was woken up by nearby construction work, though of course, that is not the owners' fault. The walls and doors are thin, and guest behavior is not monitored in the evenings. One night, guests from several rooms hung out in the hallway until midnight and disturbed my rest. There are not enough outlets in the room—you have to unplug the nightstand lamp to charge your phone. The TV worked poorly one morning and didn't work at all on other days (allegedly due to no signal). When I ran out of drinking water, there was nowhere to refill it. There are also no disposable utensils, so if you buy food, make sure to bring your own.

Fantastic apartment with a really cute café right in front. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even before my arrival, they answered my questions extremely quickly and were able to help.

välstädat, trevlig personal MEN rummet (nr 6) STANK avlopp som satte sig i både kläder och väskor. Trots att vi bad om ett nytt rum direkt tog det ett dygn innan det åtgärdades. Den enda kompensation vi fick var betald frukost. Väskorna luktar fortfarande ett dygn efter hemkomst.

Stanken av avlopp kunde kännas direkt när man kom in i receptionen men i rum 6 var det direkt outhärdligt. Aldrig varit med om något värre.👎

Teils hellhörig und laute Nachbarn, daher lagen bei der Ankunft auch schon Ohrstöpsel auf dem Bett. Wenig Ablagen, also nichts für lange Aufenthalte.

The room was good, the bed was comfortable and the shower was also good.

I didn’t like the fact that I have asked for an iron and ironing board in advance (at the time I booked the room) and despite the staff saying they would coordenate things for me to have the iron upon my arrival, that didn’t happen. They suggested me to go borrow an iron from another guest and so I did… I also didn’t like the excessive noise I had to deal with. Besides the noise from the street, ironically there is also a lot of noise coming from the reception area. The person at the reception makes very loud and long calls on speaker (or video calls or whatever it was), that force us to wake up at 8h00. This is not nice when you arrive late at night and need to rest in the morning. The provided earplugs in the room won’t solve the situation. The fact that the reception is in the hallway, just next to the rooms (that lack sound insolation) should make the staff understand that early morning is very likely a period when the guests are still resting and it’s not nice to be forced to wake up like that. Maybe speaking in a not so loud way on calls would be a good idea, maybe using headphones on calls instead of speaker would also be a good idea… I would say, some basic common sense is always important. This whole situation prevented me to have the quality of rest that I needed, so I cannot see it as something positive at all.

Bruna heeft ons fantastisch geholpen! Kamer was schoon, ruim. Centraal gelegen. Het is wel even zoeken waar het precies ziet. Maar eenmaal binnen, is het netjes en verzorgd.

Het mag iets duidelijker aangegeven worden waar het precies zit.

We voelden ons heel welkom in Hygge house. Er was een persoonlijk welkomsbriefje. Het personeel was vriendelijk. De kamer is heel ruim en proper. Het bed is heel comfortabel en groot. De ligging is goed, dicht bij de metro waardoor je snel in het centrum bent.

De buurt is redelijk lawaaierig en binnen zijn de kamers niet zo goed geïsoleerd waardoor er veel lawaai is. Je krijgt hier echter wel gratis oordopjes voor 😉 de badkamer heeft een kleine update nodig. De regendouche werkte niet en de lavabo loopt moeilijk door.

Niesamowicie sympatyczny personel, bardzo dbają i zabiegają o pozytywne odczucia gości. Świetnq lokalizacja, idealnie skomunikowana z różnymi rejonami miasta, bardzo smaczne śniadania. Całość sprawia wrażenie bardzo estetycznego Hostelu.

Mimo szczerych chęci i codziennego sprzątania w pokoju dość mocno odczuwalna była woń dobiegającą z kanalizacji. Z racji tego że łazienka nie posiada szczelnych drzwi (w całości szklane), w sypialni czuć było nieprzyjemną woń. Brak większego stołu w pokoju albo krzeseł. Jest tylko łóżko i 2 małe stoliki nocne... Śniadania choć PRZEPYSZNE - na dłuższy pobyt dość monotonne. Jako gość hotelowy mamy do wyboru tylko 4 pozycje z karty. Pod koniec pobytu byliśmy już lekko znudzeni propozycjami serwowanymi w kuchni - choć naprawdę godnymi podziwu.

Bequemes großes Bett Gutes Frühstück

Wir waren auf unserer Portugal-Reise in verschiedenen Unterkünften – von Hostels über BnBs bis hin zu Hotels. Wir sind daher nicht besonders anspruchsvoll und möchten einfach eine saubere und einigermaßen ruhige Unterkunft. Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir uns in Lissabon für diese Unterkunft entschieden. Leider können wir überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, wie eine Bewertung von 9,0 zustande kommt. Das Badezimmer stinkt unfassbar – vermutlich aus der Abwasserleitung. Ich wollte der Sache allerdings auch nicht weiter nachgehen. Die Abluft im Bad funktioniert zwar, zieht die feuchte Luft jedoch nicht richtig ab. Alles sammelt sich an den Wänden. Wenn man dann denkt, man könne einfach das Fenster zum Innenhof öffnen, kommt einem der Fritteusengeruch von unten entgegen. In den Bewertungen liest man, dass die Unterkunft sehr hellhörig sei. Das ist eine absolute Untertreibung! Wir haben jedes Mal gehört, wenn die Frau an der Rezeption eine neue WhatsApp-Nachricht bekommen hat – was minütlich passiert ist. Da kann man sich ungefähr vorstellen, wie es nachts wird, wenn andere Gäste keine Rücksicht nehmen. Dazu kommen Kleinigkeiten wie eine Haustür, die niemand hinter sich zuzieht, ein Wasserhahn, der sich nur mit Gewalt betätigen lässt, oder Gäste, die fünfmal klingeln müssen, bis die Dame an der Rezeption ihr Telefonat unterbricht und öffnet. Insgesamt bin ich einfach enttäuscht, für das Geld nicht in ein gutes Hotel gegangen zu sein. Ich kann mir nicht erklären, wie diese Unterkunft zu derart guten Bewertungen kommt

A equipe da Hygge House foi extremamente acolhedora e amável. Ganhamos alguns mimos inesperados! A localização é muito boa, pois está próxima de várias estações de metrô e também de paradas de ônibus. Há muitos restaurantes, pastelarias e cafés na região, e como não é uma área turística, com bons preços. O conforto e limpeza foram outro destaque. E o café da manhã na cafeteira ao lado maravilhoso!!! Foi uma ótima experiência. Recomendo!
