Es, sin duda, uno de los mejores hoteles en los que hemos estado. Lo tiene todo: bungalows literalmente frente al mar, con una zona de coral preciosa donde puedes hacer snorkel allí mismo, comida buenísima en una terraza también con vistas al mar y, sobre todo, un servicio impecable. Desde el primer momento te hacen sentir como en casa, con un trato súper cercano y familiar. Al haber tan pocos bungalows, todo se siente muy tranquilo, íntimo y especial. Es uno de esos lugares que tienen algo mágico y recordaremos siempre. Mi pareja y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia y, sin duda, fue una de las mejores partes de todo el viaje. Lo recomendaríamos al 100%. Dar las gracias especialmente a Borja y Yuyun, la pareja que lo lleva, y a todo su equipo por el cariño y y el trato que nos dieron. Enhorabuena por lo que habéis conseguido, porque puede parecer fácil desde fuera, pero cuidar tantísimo cada detalle y conseguir que el servicio sea impecable y a la vez tan cercano tiene muchísimo mérito. Nos llevamos un recuerdo precioso de este lugar. Ojalá algún día podamos volver.

Great location of the bungalows in a nice, silent bay. Snorkelling in the house reef was excellent. Bungalows were spacious, well equipped, clean and with nice views to the bay. Borja, the host, was always very friendly, responsive at any time and of great help with advice and support to organise special arrangements. The service team was outstanding as well. Great service, nice and friendly, and wonderful food & fruit drinks. And this all surrounded by a beautiful tropical island and sea.

Ein tolles familiäres Umfeld, es wird auf Qualität geachtet mit europäischen Anspruch. Broja stand uns in allen Belagen zur Seite, sei es bei Anreise/Abreise und einer Abholung mit Becaks, einem super netten und guten Tauchguide Fikri, Motorroller zur Leihe oder anderen Problemen. Die Bucht ist super zum schnorcheln, und man kann vieles in der Nähe besuchen. Das Essen zu jeder Zeit ist hervorzuheben, sehr freundliches Personal! In Summe kommen wir gern wieder! Nur zu empfehlen

Encontrar el Seagate ha sido un regalo en nuestro viaje. Toda la familia y el personal es tremendamente agradable y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. Tienen agua para beber en la habitación por lo que no tienes que estar comprando botellas. El arrecife que tienen en frente es espectacular, para nosotros el mejor de la isla. Cuando baja la marea simplemente hay que tener un poco mas de cuidado para acceder por la parte adecuada para no dañar el coral, pero se puede acceder tanto en marea alta como marea baja y es impresionante (incluso nos encontramos a una tortuga preciosa). Borja nos dio unas recomendaciones buenísimas. Muchas gracias por todo, volveremos seguro!!!!!!

L'établissement SeaGate est exceptionnel. Borja et Yuyun ont tout simplifié lors de notre séjour. Du transfert de Banda Aceh au Bungalow, tout était magnifiquement organisé. Ils nous ont également donné de nombreux conseils. Les filles qui travaillent au restaurant ont également embellies notre séjour. Souriante, compétente, serviable, nous ne vous oublierons pas. Tout était parfait! La qualité de la nourriture était également au-delà de nos attentes. Les plats étaient frais et très savoureux. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe, nous espérons revenir un jour dans votre paradis.

Seagate Bungalows really are an amazing place to stay. Firstly the owners Borja & Yuyun are fantastic hosts, from when you arrive until the day you leave, nothings to much trouble for them.From arranging taxis , boat trips helpful advice on things to do on Pulau Weh . Thier Bungalows really capture the laid back atmosphere of the island, the rooms are lovely, always clean, lovley hot showers, the WiFi is always great& the food in the restaurant is first class. If you like snorkeling the house reef has the best coral on the island that you can always reach from their secret beach Without doubt if I ever return to Pulau Weh island would stay here again & I'd recommend it to any of my friends who are visiting.

Tout était parfait. L'endroit est paradisiaque. Borja, le propriétaire est très professionnel. Dès notre arrivée, ils nous a indiqué tous les points d'intérêt à faire sur l'île. Il a organisé une excursion de snorkeling pour nous ainsi que nos différents transports. Nous avons pu louer un scooter directement sur place. Il est toujours joignable et soucieux de notre bien être. Yuyun, son épouse est une femme solaire, souriante et avec qui, échanger est un réel plaisir. La cuisine est délicieuse et le service irréprochable. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour.

Sea Gate ist wirklich außergewöhnlich und eine 10+, wir waren begeistert. Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise in Sumatra. Ein Bungalow direkt am Wasser mit Meerblick, ein wunderbares Riff direkt davor und ein Unterwasservulkan in der Nähe, wir sind hingelaufen und zur Unterkunft zurück geschnorchelt. Es ist traumhaft schön und für Entspannung genau das Richtige! Alles ist so sauber und das Essen unglaublich lecker. Borja, seine Frau und dein Team sind alle so herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns die Rückreise perfekt geplant. Wir würden sofort wieder dort buchen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch. Sylvia und Dietmar

Seagate bungalow is a real gem, the location is incredible : in the middle of the nature , calm, facing the sea with a multitude of fishes at your doorsteps. The staff is also incredible , really caring and helpful. The rooms are super comfortable.

Wir haben vier wunderbare Tage in Seagate verbracht. Bungalow mit Terrasse, direkt über dem Wasser; Restaurant unter Bäumen mit Blick über die Bucht; Schnorcheln zwischen den Korallen, direkt vor dem Bungalow. Am besten haben uns aber die sehr herzlichen und auf alle Wünsche eingehenden Gastgeber, Borja und Yuyun, und ihre Mitarbeiter gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt, danke.

Bei dieser Unterkunft hat einfach alles gepasst. Ausstattung, Lage und Schnorcheln. Dazu Borja, der immer für Rat und Tat ansprechbar war und ein freundliches Personal. So wurden aus geplanten 3 Tage Aufenthalt zum Schluss 8 Tage.

我想说的是，谷歌地图上那些负面评价，完全不可信，这里的老板人非常好，食物不能说是星级水平，但也是韦岛顶尖的存在，酒店周边确实有一个清真寺，但是他们唱歌的时候，声音绝对不会打扰休息。放心大胆订Seagate，小老板不会让你失望，水里风景也不会让你失望。

Actually, our trip to Weh Island was completely unexpected. Every winter, I take my family to a tropical island, but I have already been to almost all the islands you can reach from China. One day, I accidentally found this hidden place on Google Maps. Then I crazily looked up information about Weh Island, arranged the trip, and added all kinds of people on WhatsApp. That was when I found Seagate. The small boss was very responsive on WhatsApp, and his sincerity touched me. I decided to give up the three rooms I had already booked at Olala. It turned out that my choice was absolutely right. His service started one month before we arrived at the hotel and lasted until we left Aceh. The service was incredible. Seagate is simply paradise. The corals underwater are huge and diverse, making people dazzled. Every time we went snorkeling, we found something new. I will never forget the time I went snorkeling with the small boss and his four-year-old son — the small small boss. The small boss kept diving underwater to take care of the injured corals, just like a gardener of the sea. His son floated nearby and watched quietly. Maybe this is their daily life, which is really admirable. The hotel’s food completely conquered my 8-year-old daughter. Every morning she had to eat freshly baked bread, delicious pasta for lunch, and barbecue for dinner. All in all, Seagate is a place for nature lovers and ocean lovers. On the way back, you will see beautiful spiders that spin webs quickly, huge hermit crabs, cute-sounding geckos, and even large fruit bats. You can often see several kinds of kingfishers by the water. The hotel is located in the tropical rainforest, so small insects and creatures are unavoidable. But as long as you love them, they are the most beautiful scenery!

We very much appreciated our stay at SeaGate Bungalows. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming, and the staff team was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. The island has so much to offer and explore, and SeaGate truly lives up to its name – a perfect gateway to experience it all. We would happily return.

Die wunderschönen Bungalows liegen eingebettet im Dschungel direkt am Meer. Es ist wie im Paradies. Auf unseren Reisen hatten wir schon viele schöne Unterkünfte, aber diese gehört definitiv zu einer der Schönsten die wir je besuchen durften. Die Bungalows haben einen direkten Blick zum Meer und das hauseigene Riff ist direkt vor der Tür. Wirklich wahnsinnig schön. Die Bungalows werden von wunderbaren Menschen betrieben, welche man sofort ins Herz schließen muss. Hilfsbereit und es wurden auch spontan Ausflüge (selbst am späten Abend) für uns organisiert. Scooter kann man an der Unterkunft mieten sowie das in Kooperation betriebene Restaurant (auf dem Gelände) versorgt einen mit frisch zubereitenden Speisen und Getränken (7.30 am bis 20:30 pm letzte Bestellung). Was will man mehr? Hier findet man Natur, Ruhe, tolle Menschen... Wir hoffen, dass wir eines Tages wieder kommen können! Mehr als 10 Punkte sind bei Booking.com nicht möglich. Aber es sind definitiv mehr! 10+

We are returning guests. We feel like at home in this place. Everything is perfect: The location, the living corals of the house reef, the nearby underwater volcano, the easy communication with the owners, the friendly staff, the delicious food at the restaurant and the beautiful scenery from the balcony of the well-kept waterfront bungalow.

Muy limpio cómodo y con muy buenas vistas. Borja y el resto del personal nos pueden ser más amables y te ayudan muchísimo en cualquier cosa que necesites.

La ubicación está bien por una parte porque tienes buenas vistas pero tienes que coger transporte para ir a cualquier otra playa. Es cierto que tienen al lado un sitio donde hacer snorkel pero solo recomendamos ir en marea alta, es muy peligroso si no.

Our time at Seagate Bungalows was simply wonderful. The location right by the sea is breathtaking. The staff were amazing – so friendly, caring, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything, from the arrival and check-in to the organized transport, was smooth and effortless. The gardens are beautifully designed and we loved seeing all the little birds, butterflies and lizards around the property – it really felt like a peaceful haven in nature. We also really appreciated how much care is given to environmental protection and waste reduction. You can feel that sustainability truly matters here – everything is handled thoughtfully and with respect for nature. The only small problem was our return trip to Medan, as our flights were cancelled. But even then, the Seagate team immediately stepped in and helped us reorganize everything, so it all worked out in the end. We left feeling completely relaxed and grateful for such a memorable experience – we’d love to come back one day!

Es war alles super. Sehr nette Gastgeber und tolles Personal. Bungalow ist einzigartig gelegen und die Lage zwischen den Schnorchelhotspots ist ideal. Mit dem Roller die Insel zu erkunden hat auf den sehr guten und leeren Straßen sehr viel Spaß gemacht.

Wir hatten eine unheimlich tolle Zeit im Sea Gate. Borja und Yuyun haben diesen Aufenthalt wirklich einzigartig und persönlich gemacht. Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in den Seagate Bungalows verbracht – und wären gerne länger geblieben. Die Bungalows sind geschickt am Hang verteilt und zwischen Palmen versteckt, so diskret, dass man sie kaum bemerkt. Jeder hat eine Terrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick über die Bucht. Unser Badezimmer hatte sogar Meerblick – beim Duschen das Rauschen der Wellen im Hintergrund zu hören, war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Das Design ist natürlich, mit Holz, Bambus und Stein, aber dennoch modern und komfortabel. Ein sehr willkommenes Detail: ein Wasserspender mit heißem und kaltem Wasser, Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer sowie ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Das Highlight ist definitiv der Strand direkt davor. Ein kleiner, wunderschöner Kieselstrand, an dem man direkt ins Wasser gehen und schnorcheln kann. Die Unterwasserwelt ist fantastisch – bunte Korallen, Fischschwärme und manchmal auch größere Fische, die vorbeiziehen. Für Meeresliebhaber ist dies ein Paradies. Die Gastgeber, Borja und Yuyun, kümmern sich mit herzlicher Herzlichkeit um alles, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Und dann ist da noch Pancho, der charmante Hund, der regelmäßig vorbeischaut und alle zum Lächeln bringt. Das Restaurant ist großartig – Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen sind lecker, frisch und abwechslungsreich, immer in entspannter Atmosphäre. Ein großes Dankeschön an Sara, die mit ihrer Geduld, Freundlichkeit und ihrem Lächeln das Erlebnis perfekt macht. Sehr praktisch sind auch der Wäscheservice und die Roller, die man direkt vor Ort mieten kann – perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Und für alle, die lieber zu Fuß unterwegs sind, gibt es auch tolle kleine Abenteuer – wie eine Wanderung zum nahegelegenen, im Dschungel versteckten Wasserfall, die sich anfühlt, als würde man in eine andere Welt eintauchen. Kurz gesagt: wunderschöne Bungalows, ein wunderbarer Kieselstrand mit direktem Schnorchelzugang, herzliche Gastgeber und alles, was man braucht, um sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The host and all the staff were super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was delicious — full of flavor but not too spicy, just perfect! We also got plenty of great tips on what to explore around the island. The view of the sea from our bungalow was simply stunning, and the location is very peaceful and relaxing. You can easily rent scooters directly from the accommodation, which makes getting around very convenient. We can only recommend this place — it’s a little paradise! 🌴💚

Heerlijke bungalows, prachtig uitzicht, goede airco, lekker bed en fijne badkamer. Een terras met uitzicht over de zee en veel privacy. We werden heel warm en gastvrij ontvangen, we kregen alle hulp bij de aankomst (hadden pech met vliegen), waardoor we tóch dezelfde dag konden aankomen. Zelf het eten stond klaar! Het team staat altijd voor je klaar, met tips over de omgeving, hulp bij vragen en een leuk gesprek. Sarah zorgt voor een zorgeloos verblijf. Een geweldig restaurant bij de accommodatie, open van ontbijt tot diner, lekkere gerechten en drankjes. Borja en team maken het verblijf onvergetelijk en persoonlijk. Hoogtepunt van onze vakantie!

Nous avons adoré l’emplacement avec les pieds dans l’eau directement dans les coraux avec lá multitude de poissons, nous avons aussi adoré la vue magnifique sur la baie et par dessus tout, nous avons adoré l’accueil et la bienveillance de toute l’équipe de l’établissement.

Absolutely everything about our stay was magical. The moment you step into the bungalow and see that view and hammock... made us re-evaluate all the plans we had made: I just wanted to spend the whole day reading. The little cafe/restaurant is wonderful and serves food all day long.

Can't think of anything! The owners will do anything to make your stay perfect. They have tonnes of tips for restaurants, coffee bars and sights.

NIché en pleine nature le Sea gates est un havre de paix (seulement 5 bungalows) Emplacement de rêve pour le snorkling, un des meilleurs de l’île, l’eau est transparente. Si vous nager juste autour vous aller découvrir un paysage marin impressionnant. Les chambres sont vraiment très confortable et très propres ( haut standing) et décorées avec goût. La nourriture est très bonne. Les propriétaires adorables, parlent Anglais, Français, Espagnol, Indonésien couramment et d’autres langues encore, ils sont disponibles pour vous conseiller et organiser votre séjour si besoin.

L’accès à la petite plage nécessiterait d’être aménagé

Wir waren richtig geflasht von unserem Bungalow. Direkt am Wasser, toller Ausblick, und der Bungalow ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail konzipiert, dass wir uns direkt wohl gefühlt haben und gar nicht mehr gehen wollten. Ich glaube so sauber war es noch nie in einer Unterkunft, seit wir vor 4 Wochen in Indonesien unsere Reise gestartet hatten. Das dazugehörige Restaurant hat die perfekte Mischung an Gerichten für Frühstück, Mittag und Abendessen - oder einfach auch für Kaffee! Wir sind hier immer wieder hergekommen um zu essen, auch wenn wir schon an einem anderen Ort gewohnt haben. Die Menschen sind so liebenswürdig, aufmerksam und komplettieren das Wohlbefinden. Die Owner sind wirklich tolle Menschen, die immer ansprechbar sind und gute Tips und Tricks für die Insel haben. Man merkt, dass SeaGate ihre Leidenschaft ist! Wenn ich auf Pulau Weh etwas suche mit Naturgefühl, familiärer und ruhiger Atmosphäre, gutem Essen, dann ist Sea Gate der Platz für dich und einen unbeschwerten Urlaub! Borja und Yuyun, danke für die tolle Zeit bei euch. Wir werden uns wieder sehen!

Wunderschöne im Grünen gelegene gepflegte Bungalows. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und willkommen. Der Besitzer nimmt sich viel Zeit, Informationen zur Insel weiterzugeben und Transport/Ausflüge zu organisieren. Das Restaurant ist ein Wohlfühlort im Baumschatten direkt über dem Meer gelegen. Die Mitarbeitenden sind so freundlich und das Essen frisch und wunderbar. Auf Ökologie und Vermeidung von Plastikflaschen wird Wert gelegt.

Restaurant is amazing. Location is great. And Borja + staff are all super friendly.

We loved how quiet it was and how it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to visit from there by scooter. The view from our balcony was incredible to wake up to every morning and then lay in the hammock and watch the sunset in the evenings. All the staff were lovely including Panco the adorable dog. The inside of the bungalows were beautiful, clean, spacious and well thought out. We really liked how they supplied us with lots of drinking water in the room so we didn't have to buy bottles from the shops everyday. Also, the bay it's on is beautiful and protected with incredible snorkelling. It made for the best getaway we've had in a while.

Simply wow! the bungalows are nestled between lush jungle trees, which makes them very private. they are well equipped and the location right by the sea is fantastic. The coral reef is right in front of ..... and is simply beautiful. yuyun, borja and the team make you feel welcome and help you with anything you need. the resto and food are really good, you don't really have to leave seagate! you also get good information about exploring the island by scooter and about diving. we would love to come back!

Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!

We stayed in a quiet, good-sized bungalow with a balcony directly overlooking the water's edge with a lovely view across the small, peaceful bay. The owners, Borja and Yuyun, are exceptionally nice people - super-hospitable, multi-lingual and helpful above and beyond what could be expected of any hosts. All of their staff are excellent too, especially Nazira and Marianne. What more could you want? How about just a 50-yard walk to SeaGate's little restaurant - La Boca Chica - where you can enjoy a great breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a refreshing soft drink, also overlooking the bay. Still want more? Snorkeling right there in the (rocky not sandy) bay is good and safe, with loads of coral and tropical fish just yards from your bungalow. Still want more? If all you want to do is relax on your balcony, the hammock is really comfy and the WiFi works perfectly!

SeaGate Bungalows are very much 'away from it all' so you do need transportation to get to shops or other amenities. This is not necessarily a negative thing! We were sad to leave because SeaGate sets a very high standard of hospitality that we've seldom seen elsewhere.

- Tremendous accommodation! „My“ stylish room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a lovely shower (hot and with sufficient pressure). It was equipped with a good air con, a small fridge, water dispenser (hot if you like) and a terrace with a fantastic (sea) view - Absolute awesome owners, extremely supportive (before and during my stay!) without bothering around - Very good (small) restaurant on premise (Be aware: a little „remote“, but scooter to rent are available)

We loved SeaGate, the owners were wonderful and great fun to be with. They (and the rest of the staff) took great care of us and were very kind. The snorkelling right off the bay in front of our bungalow was spectacular

not being close to a sandy beach

Many colourful reef fish species, trumpetfishes, box fishes, turtle, stingray and lionfish..., etc. are surprising me in this secrete snorkelling spot just outside Seagate. The room is very clean and comfortable, making me feel like at home. Free WiFi is also pretty good inside room, at balcony and restaurant that I did not expect in such natural environment before. Borja & Yuyun can assist all you want in the island such as transportation arrangement, watching dolphin/ snorkelling, renting car, and activity information......, etc..

Too far from Hong Kong that I cannot visit every weekend.

A super quiet location overlooking the bay, in a natural place. The owner was very polite and accommodating, finding me a room although I had picked up the wrong date! The lady owner was great to talk to, but her Argentinian husband complained (jokingly) that she was talking too much... The food was excellent and plentiful, a nice change from Sumatra on a local side. There are some lovely butterflies in the garden.

I was recommended a walk to the waterfall, upriver in the jungle. Sadly it was full of trash and uninviting, despite the noisy occurrence of flying foxes in a big tree. The village did not have much appeal at all.

Everything was wonderful. The hosts, the staff, the quality of the accomodation, The position. Nothing was a problem. A place to truly do whatever you want with no worries whatsoever. Restaurant good with a beautiful view. Genuinely lovely, responsible and helpful owners. They were always there to help you.

We had a great time at SeaGate! The Bungalows are really comfortable, there is free water and tea and the sea view is amazing. Also the food at the restaurant is super tasty and all the staff are very nice. Borja gave us a lot of tips what to do on the island, which was really helpful.

I do like the view.. the atmosphere there.. and the mostly me n my partner like is the owner!

The snorkeling in front of the bungalows is good. Borja and YunYun are very accomodating. Services like scooter rental and laundry are offered. There is also a dog (give him some nice scratches to become friends). The bungalows were also very nice.

My room didn’t have very good wifi; I had to sit on the balcony anytime I wanted to use it. Also, the location. However, I didn’t really research the island and just booked somewhere that looked nice and didn’t take location into account, so that is completely my fault! If you want a quiet getaway, then it is perfect!

Seagate Bungalows are very new, located right by the water with beautiful views. Exceptional bathrooms and room facilities. The hosts (Borja and Yuyun) with their staff are very hands-on with any requests and queries, etc. They even arranged for snorkelling, dolphin watching trip and transport etc. The on-site restaurant serves good food and good service. Would definitely come and stay again, and recommend to friends and family.

Everything was perfect.

We really had no luck on our journey. The suitcases got lost on the outward flight and the weather was not good on almost any day. Yuyun, Borja and the whole team make the holiday a wonderful experience. The accommodation is nice and comfortable. The restaurant in there serves fantastic food. At the moment, as I continue my journey, I miss not only the delicious coffee, but also the gado gado. Service is a top priority at all times and you feel like you're with your family. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

Maybe sometimes it would be nice to hear some music in the restaurant. A music system in the restaurant would not be bad 😉

Just the perfect stay! We loved it so much we stayed an extra two days ☺️ the restaurant on site is delicious and the snorkelling in the bay out the front is amazing. We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing location, right on a private bay which is walkable to the waterfall and underwater volcano. Beautiful rooms which were spotlessly clean. Borja and Yuyun were the most amazing hosts!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful accommodation, which offers stunning views of the sea. The private bay was an absolute highlight, ideal for snorkeling, where I was lucky enough to see a few turtles up close! Borja, the owner, was exceptionally welcoming and gave fantastic recommendations for things to do around the island. His warm hospitality made me feel completely at ease. I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat that combines natural beauty and comfort.

It was everything that I hoped and more! Bungalow was beautiful, very clean, comfortable bed, good shower, tea, coffee, water & fridge in the room & that hammock & view!! I stayed one week and was offered cleaning services including a linen change. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Borja & Yuyun will help with anything you might need, including communication before I arrived and even after I left. I felt so at home and relaxed here! The location was great. Away from the busyness of the tourist area but close enough for snorkelling/diving trips. Good snorkelling in front of the bungalows and I really enjoyed experiencing local life of the nearby village. Finally, meals at the restaurant were all delicious & generous servings. You couldn't want anything else!

Location and hosts are amazing!

The owners Yuyun and Borja see hundreds of tourists every year but have the gift of making everyone feel special. Location, facilities and food were excellent. Breakfast and dinner at La Boca Chica restaurant, which is part of SeaGate, were the best part of our day.

Everything! Perfect location, the rooms and bungalows are very tasteful and perfect view on the ocean. A hidden gem. Snorkel directly from the shore in front. You feel the love Borja and Yuyun put in their property and in taking care of their guests. They help you with everything. Best place we stayed during whole our Sumatra trip.

Absolutely perfect place. Clean, comfortable room, amazing location right on the ocean, great food at the restaurant. And the owners are just brilliant - doing all they can to create a wonderfully relaxed vibe with noting too much trouble. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing

We absolutely loved our stay at Seagate. The reef just in front is beautiful for snorkelling (it even has a couple of resident turtles!). Borja and Yunyun were so kind and helpful in organising transport around the island for us and recommending things to do. The food was delicious (and great for veggies). Only wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a great time at seagate bungalow, the bungalows are spacious, in excellent condition and with an amazing view. The bay is quiet and has a beautiful reef. Yunyun makes the best sambal I had in Indonesia, she’s a great chef and a lovely person! The same applies to Borja, they really make an effort to make your stay as best as possible. 10/10

Excellent location with fantastic snorkeling right in front of the bungalows! The hospitality from the hosts was outstanding. We had an incredible time and felt very welcomed, wishing we could have stayed longer.

Best place we’ve ever stayed, cannot recommend it highly enough! The beach 5 meters from the room has some of the best snorkeling we have ever tried. We even saw a sea turtle. Borja is extremely attentive and helpful, and will try to help you regardless of what you need. We stayed in both a deluxe room and later a bungalow. Both are amazing but the bungalow has a bit more privacy. It takes roughly 15 minutes by scooter to get to Gapang Beach where there are diving and freediving schools.

The Place was amazing. Great value for money. The room has a sea view, it is very quiet, comfortable, clean and you have a fridge, desk and drinking water in the room. Wifi works well and I could work and take online meetings with no problem. The food prepared at the restaurant is some of the best I have eaten in Indonesia. Because of Ramadan food options needed to be arranged in advance but the host cooked for us during lunch also because on the island there would have been very limited options otherwise. The best thing is the reef right in front of the property that is basically your backyard. Beautiful snorkeling you can stay in the water for hours. They arranged for us a pick up and drop off at the ferry port and also a scooter rental at a reasonable price.

Nothing to complain! The hosts are doing their best to make you feel comfortable. It is a family business so this should be the expectation. We are definitely coming back if we are in the area again.

Borja and Jujun are amazing hosts. They do everything to fulfill the guests wishes. They arranged everthing, from transport from the airport to the ferry and from the island port to accommodation, island & snorkeling/ dolphin tours. They are working hard to make the accommodation even better then it already is (building new bungalows) in a eco friendly way. The bungalows are spotless, spacious, comfortable, very clean with hot shower and good wifi. Nice view over the bay for your morning coffee, at high tide the sea is a few steps away for snorkeling. Set menu is good quality with good variation if you stay a couple of days. If you like to stay in a remote place, this is the place to be!

The absolute best place to stay on Palau Weh.😊 If you can get in and want a truly memorable experience this is your place. Yuyun and Borja are the perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble, they booked us on a fantastic tour and everything they recommend was amazing. Yuyun is a great cook and the restaurant has a fantastic view as do the rooms.

Nothing. All was perfect.

The hosts, Jujun and Borja are very kind and helpful persons. At the end, it was a bit sad to say goodbye to them. The room was very comfortable, we had everything what we needed. It has a big terrace, big enogh to do yoga or just relax comfortably. Their kitchen is very good, breakfast and dinner are available, but they also made lunch for us the day when we arrived and was very hungry. There are just a few bungalows, it's really cosy and private.

Sometimes the sea is quite loud because it's really close to the rooms (other times this is the beauty of it :-)
