Aircond ruang tamu tidak sejuk maybe kena servis. Lampu kat dinding kena bersihkan ada sawang & habuk. Kat luar banyak nyamuk duduk dekat buai sekejap je dah kena gigit.

Tkde nak complaint cuma nyamuk ada juga tapi nyamuk nak buat macam mana kan, bukan boleh halang pun nyamuk ni🤣

Teratak Opah Kamunting Homestay yg membuat kami mengimbau nostalgia zaman kanak2, suasana pulang ke rumah opah/nenek di kampung. Gaya rumah dah hiasan dalaman yg antik. Penginapan yg cukup selesa bagi kami dan menepati jiwa anak kampung kami. Terima kasih sekali lagi kepada Tuan Rumah yg murah berurusan. InsyaAllah jika ada rezeki, kami kembali lagi ke sini.

La poussière, le secteur, la maison peut être traditionnelle mais la le temps c est arrêté pour elle. On a passé une nuit et la deuxième nuit les enfants ont voulu partir il n était pas a l aise. Pour les Malaisien c est peut bien au vu des commentaires mais pas pour les autre.

There are lots of classic Malay equipments and accessories in the house , very good to introduce to young generation . They also provided the maps of nearby hotspots in Taiping and surround.

Reviewed May 20, 2025The best kind of charming kampung homestay. Unpretentious, quaint, snug, lovingly decorated. I felt like I was visiting the Malay grandma I never had. It was both a home away from home and a totally novel experience for both my friend and me. One of the best parts of staying here was waking up early in the morning and sitting in the garden with a cup of 3-in-1. Bliss. Teratak Opah Kamunting was a huge part of why our trip to Taiping was a success. Instead of staying in chain hotels, try this little gem instead.
It was maybe a little far from the town itself, which wasn’t a dealbreaker. We just had to plan around it.

Nothing much to complain about the unit, but if water dispenser is provided will be perfect for the stay.

The dust at the aircond vent, ceiling fans and also one of the ceiling fan (kitchen area) was not working until I made the comment, however the host managed to get a standing fan (also dusty). The ceiling fans speed was very slow even at we set at the highest speed (remote was iffy though).

The road leading to the accommodation has very heavy traffic at around 6pm. Took me more than 1/2 hour to travel that 2 km. Not sure if it is a daily thing. At other times the traffic was very light. You have to drive 10 minutes to town to find nice chinese breakfast.
