Kotbabi Guest House – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Kotbabi Guest House from July 21st to 23rd. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location for exploring La Digue. What made our stay truly special was our amazing host, who was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our time there. If you are looking for a warm, hospitable place to stay on the island, this is it. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were cleaned every other day which was perfect! The AC was perfect and the beds were very comfortable.

Excellent customer service. The guesthouse is really close to the jetty. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even allowed for late checkout. Spacious room. I loved the creole flair.

Molto comodo al porto e alla bella spiaggia di Anse Severe distante pochi minuti in bici. Lo chalet familiare risulta adatto ad una famiglia di 4 persone. Bello far colazione e cenare fuori nel patio.

Qualcuno ha portato via delle cose dalle due camere il penultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno. Sono spariti tre costumi da bagno, due maglie anti UV, una torcia frontale (costosa), una bandana e anche dei completini maglietta e pantaloncini della mia bambina più piccola. Tutte cose che avevamo lasciato la mattina sopra i due letti ma poi alla sera al nostro ritorno non c’erano più. Ovviamente non possiamo sapere chi sia stato (se qualcuno della struttura o un estraneo che è comunque riuscito ad introdursi), quello che è certo è che le nostre cose sono state prese e non sono sparite da sole durante il giorno.

Nous avons été très bien accueillies, avec une possibilité d’avoir des vélos pour un prix raisonnable, l’emplacement est idéal.

Le bruit était dérangeant, nous avons eu une nuit avec de la musique et le matin nous entendions la télévision ainsi que la téléphone de la réception.

Great location nearby the best beach in La Digue, the ferry and the village. Nice garden and veranda to relax. Very quiet. Good bathroom.

Very humid room. No common kitchen or basic equipment to warm up take aways or similar. Very expensive breakfast and dinner. They charged my credit card twice, but in the end I was refunded. The last night, our room was flooded because a water pipe broke down in the neighbouring room which was empty. We woke up at 6am with 15 cm of water in the room with all our stuff soaked including my phone which was charging. From the staff and owners’ reaction it was clear that it was something not unusual. They didn’t really bother, offered us coffee and just said it was not their fault. Will not come back.

Nette Personal und die Lage war perfekt.

Abends ist immer ein Toer über das Dach gelaufen was uns aufgeweckt hat das ist aber nicht die Schuld der Unterkunft.

Everything about our stay was great. The place is very close to the harbor and near the town center, where there are restaurants, a bakery, and a supermarkets.

Det var veldig hyggelig å bli møtt da vi kom ut av ferga. Vi ble hentet, fikk leid hver vår sykkel og bagasjen vår ble tatt med til Kot Babi. Personalet på Kot Babi var veldig hyggelige under hele oppholdet. Stedet lå veldig fint til siden det var rett ved ferga, nærme strendene på nordsiden av øya, lett å sykle til Anse Source d’Argent og kjempeskilpadder på veien dit og til andre siden av øya med Anse Cocos, Grande Anse og Petite Anse. Det var også nærme restauranter, barer, supermarket og treningstid. Location, location, location. Det var et lite kjøleskap, vannkoker og safe på rommet. Det var hyggelige og fine felles arealer ute og inne. Air condition fungerte veldig fint. La Digue er paradiset. Det var fantastisk å sykle rundt på øya. Det var deilig at det var mest sykler og ikke så mange biler. Syklene kunne parkeres rett utenfor rommene.

Rommene var helt middels, men mer enn bra nok for oss. Og dagene på La Digue var helt fantastiske.

Dobra opcja na zwiedzanie La Digue. - super kontakt z gospodynią, pomogła w wynajmie rowerów - pokój przestronny, lodówka, klimatyzacja, suszarka do włosów itp - świetna lokalizacja, kilka kroków od portu, do plaży kilka minut spacerem, do knajpek blisko, do sklepów również blisko (polecam pobliską piekarnię!) - ładny ogród, z prysznicem zewnętrznym żeby się opłukać po plaży - nasz pokój (nr 2) miał dwa wejścia, z wewnątrz budynku oraz z tarasu, gdzie były krzesła i stół - dość czysto i schludnie - możliwość zostawienia bagażu na przechowanie po wymeldowaniu

- pokój blisko recepcji/głównego miejsca przesiadywania gospodarzy - stąd wieczorami dość głośno - klimatyzacja działała, ale nie można było przełączyć kierunku nawiewu, i stale wiało na łóżko - łóżko dość niewygodne, czuć każdy ruch osoby obok Ale tak to OK, jeśli będę mieć możliwość to pewnie tu wrócę.

Le manque d'équipements (très peu de vaisselle, pas de bols pour les petits déjeuners, des verres en plastique..) Rien de sérieux n'est prévu pour faire sécher son linge (un petit fil sur la terrasse), salle de bain peu soignée (tapis de douche défraîchi et taché, tablette vétuste et trop petite, absence de shampoing..) Les chambres fermaient à clef mais pas la porte d'entrée de la maison. Le prix de la chambre ne correspond clairement pas aux prestations rendues. De plus, la propriétaire qui n'est pas sur place n'est pas honnête : elle a voulu me faire payer une nuit supplémentaire pour une partie de la famille qui partait la veille (2 chambres indépendantes de la nôtre) alors qu'elle avait accepté et validé par écrit ce changement dans nos messages échangés sur Booking plusieurs semaines avant notre arrivée. Il a fallu que j'insiste et ne lâche rien pour me faire rembourser. Cela m'a gâché le début du séjour. Les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix des chambres même si ce logement reste bien placé. Et la malhonnêteté de la propriétaire n'est pas tolérable !!

Schöne kleine, sehr ruhige Unterkunft in super Lage. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer hinter dem Haupthaus. Sehr nette Begrüßung und mit Welcome-Drink und insgesamt sehr gute Kommunikation. Das Appartment war zwar recht klein, Sitzbereich nur draußen auf der Terrasse, aber wir haben uns die 3 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Vor allem die Nähe zu Supermärkten und der Glorious Bakery war ein großer Vorteil. Hier haben wir uns morgens mit Proviant für den Tag eingedeckt und abends unser Abendessen als Takeaway geholt.

Keine Sitzgelegenheit im Innenbereich, Kühlschrank könnte vielleicht noch größer sein.

Bett nicht komfortabel. Laut Geräusche in der Nacht von einer Alarm.

Ubytování se nachází nedaleko mola, kam připlujete lodí. Nemusíte tedy daleko, což je výhoda i jako výchozí bod. :) Dostali jsme samostatnou chatičku v krásné zahradě pod palmami. :) Personál je vstřícný, paní domácí nám donesla během pobytu velikou mísu ovoce. :) Úklid proběhl v pořádku. Odtud jsme vyráželi na kolech na cesty po ostrově. Nádherné místo! Doporučujeme!!! :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Kot Babi - run by a lovely family. An employee was waiting for us at the jetty and helped us with our luggage. It’s just a few minutes walk. The accommodation is clean and set in a beautiful garden. Everything you need - shops, bakery, take away and the beach is nearby. The staff also helped us with renting bicycles.

We would have preferred some dishes in the room like plates and cutlery, but when we asked, they brought them from the kitchen.

Mały pokój z łazienką, czasy świetności ma za sobą, cena chyba zbyt wysoka jak za taki standard, ale czysto, klima, zielony ogród, taras, brak talerzy, sztućców.Bardzo blisko promu i niedaleko plazy z barami Bikini Bottom, można iść z buta.Koniecznie zrobić snorekling pół dnia z Zico i serniki kokosowy u mimis cafe. Sama wyspa La Dgue przereklamowana, włącznie z plażą Anse D'Argent szkoda pieniędzy..

Lokalizacja, pomocny i uśmiechnięty personel, ogród

Zbyt gwałtowne powitanie w porcie bez uprzedzenia, w pokoju spotkany był karaluch i mrówki, problemy z ciepłą wodą pierwszego dnia pobytu (zostały rozwiązane, ale wymagało to dwukrotnego zgłaszania), niektóre rowery w kiepskim stanie

We had a wonderful stay at Kot Babi. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the ferry, restaurants, and the beach. The tropical garden creates a peaceful atmosphere, and the hosts are very kind and welcoming. 🌴

The place is beautiful, room great and spacious. The outside has a magnificient vibe and the inside is like you're staying at someone's home (in the best way possible). They organized a bike guy to pick us up and he then offered us the bike rental, which we took. Not sure if its the best price you can get, but it was very convenient.

The main issue and why we ultimately had to downgrade our review, is the camera on the veranda, that quite cleary tapes the enteritey of us stay when we sat outside. I understand the need for safety, but this lack of privacy there was really disturbing. Based on our understanding of the camera, because the light was glowing red (as you can see at night), it was constatly on and could eenable the owner to see us outside. Note that the veranda is the only place where you would eat breakfast or drink beer or similar. It just made us feel uncomfortable.

The service is totally inefficient, only one towel each. For three nights no cleaning or change linen and towel. Zero amenities, cups dirties for three days. The ceiling is 1.55 meters because the room was under roof. Everything really old. No blanket. You can heard everything from the room beside.

Die Lage ist super, alles was man braucht liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastgeber sind superlieb, helfen bei allen Fragen und haben auch tolle Tipps.

Da fällt mir nichts ein

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann die Unterkunft mit der Fähre erreichen.

-Die Unterkunft ist stark in die Jahre gekommen. Einrichtungen wie Dusche etc. sind rostig, die Vorhänge teils dreckig. Insbesondere die Matratzen sind alt und kaputt. Es gibt nur Laken, die verrutschen. -Uns wurden am Hafen minderwertige Fahrräder von einem Bekannten angedreht. Das war nicht unser Plan. Wir hatten einen anderen Verleih ausgesucht und haben uns im Nachhinein geärgert. - Neben der Unterkunft befindet sich stehendes Gewässer - es ist kaum möglich den Moskitos zu entkommen. Auch mit Spray ist man machtlos. - Eine meiner Töchter hatte während des Aufenthalts (wir waren davor und danach noch auf den Seychellen und es war nicht weiter der Fall). Zudem haben wir alle eine bakterielle Lungenentzündung durch die Klimaanlage bekommen. Glücklicherweise hatte ich den Medical Service gebucht. Der Arzt teilte meine Vermutung. - Insgesamt war die Unterkunft meine negativste Erfahrung auf den Seychellen. Ich war schon häufiger dort und habe keinen Luxus erwartet - sofern man kein hochpreisiges Hotel bucht. Aber ein Mindestmaß an Ordnung, Sauberkeit und Hygiene wäre gut. - Die Vermieterin war stets freundlich. Es tut mir Leid, diese Rückmeldung geben zu müssen, aber das war unsere Erfahrung.

Muy bien ubicado cerca del puerto y de la zona donde hay bastantes restaurantes, bancos, tiendas de souvenirs, etc. Todo muy correcto y bastante cómodo. El exterior bien cuidado con espacio para dejar las bicicletas.

Es hat mir alles sehr gut gefallen. Hübsches Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal.

L'établissement est situé à proximité du débarcadère sur la route principale. Il ya plusieurs bungalow dans le jardin, le notre desservait 3 chambres .Notre chambre était très claire mais petite , pas de chaise et peu de place pour la bouilloire. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques ( réservation de restaurant, possibilités de promenades en bateaux..)

La poubelle sur la terrasse est visitée la nuit par les chiens et la personne de service doit nettoyer tout le jardin le matin. Du coup, on mettait les restes de TAKE AWAY dans un sac le soir dans le grand réfrigérateur commun et mis dans la poubelle uniquement le matin .Un four à micro onde pourrait être ajouté dans la salle à manger commune .

Pas de petit dejeuner avec l'établissement

Very close to the ferry port and beautiful beaches. The hosts are very kind, and the courtyard is lovely.

We rented a room because it was stated that the accommodation also has a shared kitchen. However, if you rent only a room, the kitchen is not available. They open the kitchen only if the entire house is rented. The accommodation is located in a park, but because of that there are cockroaches, which were walking on our bed at night. The bed is uncomfortable.

La salle de bain n'est pas pratique, on peut facilement se cogner au mur. Il manque de quoi faire sécher quelques affaires dans la chambre car pas d'extérieur et il a beaucoup plu....Il Manque une petite table et chaise dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner un peu cher (15 euros ) pour le contenu, peut être aurait il fallu un yaourt ? Petit morceau de fromage ? Enfin Zorro n'est pas venu nous chercher les bagages le jour du départ....sous des trombes d'eau 😒

Die Zimmer waren prima, allerdings war nur eins mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Man musste also die Zwischentür offenlassen. Sehr zentrale Lage, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Vermieter vermittelten uns einen guten und günstigen Fahrradverleih. Die Eigentümerin überraschte uns mit einer großen Schale mit frischem Obst aus dem eigenen Garten.

Wir empfehlen unbedingt, ein Präparat zum Schutz gegen Moskitos zu besorgen, da diese ganz schön nervig sein können. Im Angebot war vor der Buchung nicht ganz klar, wie das Ferienhaus aussieht. Zu viele allgemeine Bilder und Bilder von anderen Wohneinheiten enthalten. Ein Deckenventilator auf der Terrasse wäre wünschenswert.

Very welcoming hosts and comfortable room. Close to the jetty (5 mins walk) and a lot of restaurants, easy walk to Anse Severe and with a bike quite easy to anywhere. Excellent central location.

Very basic, old room. Bed had stains. Worst part was we were sort of forced to rent a bike with a friend of the owners.

Durante il soggiorno ci è stata cambiata la camera per motivi organizzativi ma la seconda non era adeguata. Asciugamani vecchi e macchiati, letto senza coprimaterasso, lavandino e doccia che perdevano acqua creando effetto laghetto in bagno. Peccato perche la struttura è molto carina , il personale gentile e in posizione eccezionale

La situació al costat d'un lloc de menjar molt bo i molt aprop del ferry. Ens van enviar un comissionista a buscar les bicicletes de lloguer pel que no ens vam haver de desplaçar per tenir-les a la porta.

La nostra habitació estava plena d'humitats, tant la pared del dormitori com tot el bany, la porta del bany xafada i tot i que nosaltres no vam obrir les finestres, com era d'esperar, vam trobar paneroles i quan els vam demanar un esprai per matar-les, els hi va semblar molt normal. També vam trobar un llangardaix a dins l'habitació i fins i tot ens va alegrar que no fos una altra panerola...

Établissement très bien placé, proche de tout à 5 minutes du Ferry et des commerces , les propriétaires sont très gentils et souriants, le jardin très bien entretenu.

Il manquait quelques petites attentions, comme du thé et du café , dommage de ne pas pouvoir avoir accès à la cuisine ne serait-ce que pour réchauffer.

L'emplacement parfait, les hôtes sont adorables, le bungalow décoré avec goût, douche extérieure pour le retour de plage très pratique. Logement très propre

Rien à dire.

La struttura è vicina al porto quindi è stata molto comoda raggiungerla a piedi. Appena arrivati la proprietaria ci ha dato il soft drink di benvenuto ( molto apprezzato). La camera è grande e pulita e dispone di una bella doccia. Ci ha fornito anche le biciclette per girare tutta l'isola ad un prezzo giusto.

La extremada amabilidad y disposición de la gente que trabaja allí junto con su cercanía al puerto lo hacen una buena elección.

Los colchones están para cambiar ya.

Die Lage war perfekt und die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Der Garten hat uns auch gut gefallen und das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde auch alle zwei Tage gereinigt. Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön.

Die Matratze war schon ziemlich durchgelegen.

Mi è piaciuta molto la posizione, a due minuti dal porto, da un ottimo panificio e dal paesino. Staff molto disponibile, ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli sia all' arrivo che alla partenza

In generale mi è piaciuto un po' tutto , forse solo la vista dalla camera ma in fondo non ci siamo stati granché in camera

The location was perfect for access to the port and local facilities as well as the famous beaches. The garden was relaxing and the welcome drink was much appreciated.

A shower that did not get the bathroom floor wet and a rental bike man who was not so insistent we rent from him upon our arrival.

A körpontban helyezkedik el, nagyon hangulatos kis szállás, tele kedves emberekkel. Bár nem volt messze a kikötőtől a poggyászainkat így is elszállították és készségesen álltak rendelkezésünkre. Kényelmes volt ágy és gyönyörűen virágokkal kidíszítve vártak minket.

A törölközők régiek voltak, nem szívták jól a nedvességet és az ágynemű helyenként foltos volt, tiszta de foltos.

Ruido de motores del aire acondicionado de todas las habitaciones que están anexos a la pared de mi habitación, la de la derecha de la planta baja.

Esta muy cerca del ferry (por eso lo cogimos) apenas 5 minutos a pie. La habitación es amplia y el personal estupendo.

Ya lo intuíamos pero las instalaciones necesitarían un poco de reforma. El agua no sale caliente del todo sino templada aunque tampoco es un problema porque las temperaturas son muy altas.

Las apariencias engañan. Las habitaciones necesitan una renovación, caro para lo que ofrecen. Una noche tuve una invasión de hormigas voladoras que me picaron, pasé más de media hora matándolas como pude.

El personal fue muy amable. Trato excelente. Nos dejaron hacer late checkout y darnos una ducha antes de irnos. Muy atentos con todo. Ubicación excelente.
