Ha sido el único hotel del viaje que nos cobró por persona para bañarnos en la piscina (3000 rupias cada uno quiero recordar) Para ir a la zona con algunos restaurantes has de caminar bastante rato por la carretera A la noche fuimos a cenar, y al llegar al hotel a las 9 y poco de la noche, estaba la reja cerrada (la abrimos como pudimos metiendo la mano entre los barrotes) Al ir a la habitación el aire no funcionaba, y al ir a solicitar un ventilador o ayuda, no había nadie para ayudarnos Por último, al pagar (solo aceptan efectivo), el cambio no me lo dieron, me dijeron que no y ya

Beautiful view on lions rock, the staff are friendly and very helpful, aram was my guide he took me to a tour village and much more, the host arranged safari and cooking class for me as I was a solo traveler with nothing planned ahead, I felt safe and welcomed Breakfast was really good, nice pool, great location I loved my stay here and would definitely come back

Het personeel was vriendelijk en hielpen mee met ideeën wat we konden doen. Als we terug kwamen met kokosnoten wouden ze ons graag ook de binnenkant laten proeven en maakte hem voor ons open. Ook sochtends om 5:00 zijn we naar de rots gebracht om te beklimmen.

De kamers zijn erg gehorig. Heelaas ook het pech dat de onderburen luidruchtig waren maar daar kunnen ze niets aan doen. Dit is dan ook niet een groot probleem.

Het zwembad met het uitzicht op de Lion Rock is echt een aanrader. Je kunt vanaf hier ook lopend naar het ‘bruisende gedeelte’ van Sigiriya wat erg prettig is. Verder is de host een topper die je ook een schitterende tour kan geven!

Расположение просто потрясающее. Открывается роскошный вид на Сигирию и Пидурангалу. Бассейн ,отдельный восторг, можно плавать и наслаждаться панорамой гор. Комната оказалась очень просторной и комфортной, а завтрак был действительно вкусным. Однозначно рекомендую

Beautiful location with a view of Sigiriya rock and stunning pool overlooking it. Very comfortable beds, spacious room and large bathroom that had a good, hot shower. The hosts were pleasant and accommodating too.

We had to pay extra for the pool which we didn’t like. The lady told us 2000 LKR each, but the next day the man told us 3000 LKR altogether. We don’t understand why we have to pay extra to use the pool when it’s included in the accommodation so it felt like a bit of a rip off. We did pay it anyway as it was lovely, but we think that the pool should be included in the price. We did also feel like that they were trying to sell us a lot of things like breakfast, tuktuk rides, lions rock and safari trips which was a bit annoying but if you say no they won’t push you. Overall it was a pleasant stay! But important to keep this in mind.

Nous recommandons à 100%. Personnel très accueillant et qui vous conseille tout au long de votre séjour (lieu, taxi, horaire). Localisation au top, vu sur le rocher du lion, calme, à 10min des restaurants. Piscine incroyable et propre

The place is beautiful. You can see the Sigiriya rock in the front while dipping in the lovely sweeming pool. The stuff is very kind and helpful. The room is tidy and clean.

Dit was het enige hotel waar wij zelf onze koffers naar de kamers moesten brengen. Dat je alleen kontant kon afrekenen met als gevolg dat je je wisselgeld minder krijgt. Dus neem gepast geld mee

Super close to Lion Rock and Pidurangala Mountain. Pool has beautiful views. Breakfast is good. Sumari was a great guide for the day. Would highly recommend him and the hotel.

Echt een geweldig verblijf. Heerlijk zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op Lion Rock. Grote ruime kamer. Winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Geweldig ontbijt. Lieve eigenaren die meedenken.

Quando paghi loro fanno che arrotondare e non ti danno il resto, senza chiedere, nel nostro caso parliamo circa di 1€ di arrotondamento, quindi nulla di eccessivo, ma sarebbe gradito se venisse chiesto

Las instalaciones son cómodas, limpias y muy estéticas. La piscina tiene unas vistas impresionantes. El personal es muy amable, especialmente el propietario, que siempre está a tu disposición para ofrecer una excursión, transporte o para lo que necesites; y su hija, la cual se encarga del desayuno (muy completo). Tienes a 5min caminando restaurantes y a 20min la roca del león.

Falto una explicación detallada durante el check-in (hora del desayuno, como hacer el check out, si se podía cenar allí o no,…).

Sehr gastfreundliche Menschen. Das Curry war eines der besten, das wir in Sri Lanka assen.

A ver; 1. El personal es maravilloso. Es una familia y son súper amables. 2. La piscina es estupenda y tiene unas vistas increíbles. 3. Está bien ubicado. 4. Había 4 gatitos monísimos.

Pero.... 1. No está lo suficientemente limpio. La nevera estaba tremendamente sucia. 2. No limpiaron la habitación ni cambiaron las toallas en 2 noches. Tampoco reponen el agua. 3. Las toallas: puedes hacerte un scrub completo de lo que raspan. 4. Las vistas a Lions Rock desde la cama eran chulas pero justo delante del cristal hay una mesa y dos sillas donde se puede sentar cualquiera. Así que si no quieres que te vean cuando estás en la cama, tienes que echar la cortina. 5. Luz insuficiente. 6. El WiFi va a pedales. Tiramos de datos prácticamente todo el tiempo. 7. El desayuno es mejorable. 8. No puedes pagar con tarjeta y no te avisan. Es cierto que no hubo problema en pagar cuando sacábamos dinero pero esas cosas hay que especificarlas. En definitiva, todas estas cosas me hubieran molestado si el precio hubiera sido otro. Por lo que pagamos, en el resto de hoteles de Sri Lanka (llevamos aquí ya casi 20 días), nos han dado mejor servicio.

Nuestra experiencia fue de 10. La relación calidad-precio es excelente, el personal es encantador y el alojamiento muy cómodo. La piscina es simplemente espectacular, con unas vistas increíbles a Lion Rock. Además, contratamos varios servicios con ellos, como el desayuno (casero y delicioso), los traslados en tuk tuk y el safari a Minneriya, y no podríamos haber quedado más satisfechos con todo. Sin duda, recomendamos reservar estos servicios directamente con ellos.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel ! La piscine est magnifique et offre une vue exceptionnelle sur le Lion Rock, un vrai plaisir à tout moment de la journée. Les transats et la piscine permettent de faire une vraie pause dans le voyage, dans un cadre calme et paisible. L’hôtel est également idéalement situé, à proximité des principales activités et des restaurants. Les petits-déjeuners étaient très bons et la chambre, propre et confortable, avec une climatisation très appréciable. Le personnel a été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour. Ils nous ont conduits très tôt le matin jusqu’à Pidurangala Rock afin que nous puissions assister au lever du soleil. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésiter !

La piscine est magnifique, le jardin est également bien entretenu. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, même si il est plutôt cher et en supplément du prix de la chambre.

La sdb est un peu vétuste … Le personnel m’a demandé d’annuler ma réservation sur booking à mon arrivée, en me promettant un rabais de 1000 roupilles sur la facture finale (2 nuits) J’ai pu annuler ma réservation tout en leur disant que j’avais bien compris qu’ils voulaient se mettre la commission de booking dans la poche… et que le rabais de 1000 roupilles me semblait un peu illusoire. Elle m’a finalement proposé 2500 Roupilles… bref! J’ai dû beaucoup parlementer avec le personnel. Ce sont des gens intéressés principalement par l’argent et qui sont selon moi malhonnêtes. Dommage car l’hôtel pourrait être vraiment un endroit encore plus agréable qu’il ne l’est déjà!

WiFi inconsistent. Bath towels need upgrading. Drinking water should have been provided, at a minimum on arrival.

Sehr nettes Personal/Familie. Mann kann alles über sie buchen und helfen gern. Sehr feines Frühstück, mann kann auch mittags und Abendessen in der Unterkunft haben. Sehr gut. (Lokales Essen)

Het net nieuwe zwembad was top voor de kids. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim Het personeel zal er alles aan doen om je een plezierig verblijft te geven. Ze kunnen ook het eea voor je regelen tegen normale prijzen.

We hadden 2 kamers, voor de kids en voor ons. In beide kamers roken de badkamers een beetje zuur/zweterig. Verder alles prima!

Did not allow to use the pool and requested to pay extra and the staff was rude. I requested butter for my kids but provided after we finished our breakfast. They did not give us milk for the morning tea till we ask. Bathroom sink was leaking too.

We absolutely loved our time here! The hosts were extremely kind, helpful and caring, they helped us with anything (booking a tuktuk, choosing a restaurant, seeing wildlife) and everything out of kindness :) The pool was the highlight : a large infinity pool overlooking a rice field and the Sygiria rock with wildlife such as birds, monkeys and so enjoying the fields in front of us, it was truly magical. We were offered a cooking class with the hosts family which was wonderful, they were so kind and made some of the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Great location! This place definitely made our stay in Sigiriya better

Schade, dass es keine Getränke vor Ort zu kaufen gab. Es hat jedoch Neskaffee und Tee.

Die Lage die Aussicht nette Inhaber einfach alles . Stand 25 Juni. Ist der infinity pool noch nicht fertig aber denke Anfang Juli 26 kann man sich richtig gut nach einem Ausflug entspannen und Blick auf den Lions Rock und Reisfelder geniessen

Tolle Lage mit Blick über die Reisfelder zum Löwenfelsen! Auch das Frühstück wurde uns auf der Terrasse mit diesem Blick serviert.

A kert és a kilátás pazar, páva mászkál az udvarban, a teraszon ülve tőled 3 méterre! A házigazda rendkívül figyelmes és kedves, programokat ajánl és szervez. A Lion-rock gyalog is kb. 25 perc és több étterem is van a közelben. Bőséges reggeli, a házigazda által készítve.

Die unterkunft İst sehr schön gelegen, mit aussicht auf die reisfelder und den löwenfelsen...in der nacht sehr ruhig, restaurants sind nah und zu fuss erreichbar. Die gastgeber waren sehr liebenswürdige nette menschen.. sie haben und persöhnich per tuktuk nach pollonaruwa(antike stadt) gefahren und und wenn nötig alles erzählt und rumgeführt. Der sohn hat uns am nächsten tag nach kandy mit zwischenstopps unterwegs in das nächste hotel unserer reise gefahren. Man kann in der unterkunft durchaus wilde tiere sehen (mit glück auch elefanten). Das morgenessen War sehr lecker. Für zukünftige besucher gibt es nöch hinzuzufügen, derzeit wird ein pool gebaut, sollte in einem monat fertig sein (auch mit toller aussicht). Wünsche den gastgebern alles gute und werde sie definitif meinem umfeld weiterempfehlen..♥️

The location and the view is stunning

We booked with breakfast and they informed us that breakfast cannot be provided upon our arrival. They deducted some amount from the booking fee considering that.

Lovely, friendly, warm family-run accomodation. They organised a jeep safari for us for an excellent price, drove us around town free of charge, gifted us souvenirs, gave great recommendations for restaurants and massage places, and prepared a delicious breakfast

Absolutely great hosts which made our stay perfect. Rooms clean and comfortable with useful mosquito nets around the beds. The property was incredibly relaxing and quiet with a beautiful view of Sigiriya Rock. Breakfast every morning was delicious and filling. The hosts helped us organise some trips and even went above and beyond to drive us to key areas down towards the coast. This essentially turned into a private tour of Sri Lanka with them on our own timings which was seamless and memorable. We really appreciated the hospitality that exceeded our expectations.

Nothing, I’d stay here again if I return to Sigiriya :)

Sehr freundliches Personal, das Zimmer war top, und Lage sowie Aussicht einfach unschlagbar. Vieles zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert – es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. :)

Amazing view and walk away from the main area

The hosts- overly tried to persuade us to do things that we made clear we weren’t interested in and lied to us in the process. It made us uncomfortable. Should have also been clearer on the breakfast cost. They just asked us when we wanted it. Ants in the bathroom - this is understandable due to the location but could’ve been avoided.

Very nice rooms and super friendly people. You have a nice view in the garden.

Breakfast was horrible and not worth the extra money - served toast and jam and then a hopper with a tasteless omelette and said they had no dhal or sambal or anything to make it taste of something. Staff suggested we needed a tuk tuk to sigiriya entrance at 5.30am at 4 x the price we paid!

LOVED! We arrived late due to a delayed flight, the staff were welcoming and so kind throughout our whole stay, cannot fault them at all. They told us that elephants had been passing through the rice field on a night and showed us the footprints, explained about the farmers staying in the treehouses to keep lookout etc. The view is incredible and it’s such a peaceful area. In the middle of everything you need for the rock, cafes/restaurants so great location. Short walk to everything. Breakfast was so lovely - a lot of food, but so tasty and great view of the rock while eating! Will be recommending to everyone!

וואו הם היו ממש חמודים, דיברו איתי על הכל, התעניינו שאלו, ממש חייכנים ואדיבים, בעלת המקום ובעלה אני חושב. המקום נמצא במקום יפה, אפשר לראות את האבן, בבוקר ראיתי טווס מטייל בשדה הפתוח ארוחת בוקר מעולה עם קפה מוגש בתרמוס, פנקייקים ממש טעימים והכל כמובן עם חיוך חדרים טובים, מקלחת עם מים חמים וזרם טוב, ממליץ

L’hôtel est correct dans l’ensemble, mais notre séjour s’est très mal terminé à cause du comportement inacceptable d’un membre du personnel. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Le premier jour à notre arrivée les propriétaires n’étaient pas là, Nous avons donc organisés nos journées par nous même. Le deuxième jour, les propriétaires sont venus nous proposer leur service de tuktuk et taxi et nous leur avons expliqué que nous avions tout organisé la veille nous même car nous n’avions pas pu les voir pour organiser avec eux. Ils se sont montrés compréhensifs. Cependant le lendemain au moment de notre départ, un employé de l’hôtel s’est montré très agressif et provoquant, il a bloqué notre taxi et l’a empêché de prendre nos bagages, il est ensuite venu très proche de nous et a commencé à nous agresser verbalement et se montrer très provocateur dans ses gestes. Nous lui avons demandé quel était le problème mais il continuait à nous agresser et nous a fait comprendre que c’est parce que nous avions pris un autre service de taxi que celui proposé par l’hôtel. Nous avons été très choqué de son comportement et de cette fin de séjour qui nous a mis mal à l’aise. Nous avons même ressenti de la peur face à cette agressivité, ce qui n’est absolument pas ce que l’on attend à la fin d’un séjour dans un hôtel. Ce comportement est très préoccupant et ne devrait pas arriver dans un établissement accueillant des voyageurs. Nous conseillons aux futurs clients d’être vigilants. C’est dommage, car ce type d’incident gâche complètement l’expérience globale.
