J’ai passé 3 nuits dans cet hostel et j’ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour. Ricardo est une personne très accueillante et l’hostel est parfaitement aménagé, propre et agréable. C’est aussi un super endroit pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs et faire facilement des rencontres. L’emplacement est idéal : dans un quartier calme, tout en étant proche du métro. Je reviendrais sans hésiter !

Excellent host. The rooms are clean and tidy including the toilets. Strong wifi. Ricardo takes time to tell his stories and also to introduce to each others in the hostel. Grocery store near by. Metro station walkable distance too.kitchen available for cooking.

Small common area/kitchen for the amount of people. But it didnt bother me anyways.

Todo, un lugar encantador, sin duda un lugar muy recomendado.

Het hostel ligt in een buurt waar ik me als vrouwelijke soloreiziger veilig voelde, ook ‘s avonds. Daarnaast is de eigenaar een super vriendelijke man, die altijd klaar staat voor een praatje en ook Engels kan spreken. De douche, toilet en keuken zijn netjes.

De matrassen liggen niet zo goed, maar aangezien ik maar een paar nachten daar verbleef was dat niet erg.

Erg leuke wijk, veel voorzieningen, veilig en relaxed en een superhandige host/staf.

Pour une note de 9.5 sur Booking, j’ai été vraiment déçue. L’endroit était vraiment très petit beaucoup de personnes pour le peu d’espace. Beaucoup de personnes ayant accès à une seule toilette une seule douche, le dortoir était vraiment petit avec des mauvaises odeurs. L’endroit est positif pour les gens qui veulent vraiment cuisiner et ne pas manger à l’extérieur. Ce n’était pas mon cas, donc beaucoup d’utilité que je n’ai pas utilisé. J’aurais préféré avoir plus d’espace. Aussi, avoir accès à un ventilateur personnel aurait été vraiment bénéfique car il faisait vraiment très chaud. J’ai eu du mal à dormir.

L'accueil, Ricardo est adorable. L'emplacement, endroit plutôt calme. Taille de l'auberge, pas trop de monde.

En verdad todo, El trato de Ricardo, el dueño, super gentil amable cercano, muy pendiente de que estés cómoda, y es así, me sentí como en casa, me quede más días incluso, y Ricardo tuvo el detalle de cambiarme a una habitación con vistas increíbles, además la energía del hostel es de hogar,relajado, un sitio donde de verdad descansas, conocí gente hermosa, y es porque el Ambiente ya propicia gente linda porque Ricardo es el mejor, todo siempre estuvo limpio, muy cuidado se siente el amor con que esta ideado y de verdad que ya va a ser mi lugar favorito donde volver en medellin, gracias Ricardo por amabilidad por el mimo me sentí 👑 volveré!!!

A super friendly, family-style hostel with a relaxed atmosphere. The host is incredibly kind and even made tea for everyone, making us feel welcome from the start. There's a small balcony with fresh herbs that guests can use for cooking, which is a lovely touch. Because the hostel is small, it's easy to meet and connect with other travelers. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it a great place to stay. I'd happily come back!

L’accueil exceptionnel, l’emplacement centrale à 5 minutes du métro, juste à côté de supermarché, ATM, et tout ce qu’il faut pour les voyageurs et en plus l’auberge est vraiment jolie, on s’y sent bien tout de suite . À réserver les yeux fermés

The best host I ever had. He made you feel really welcome and recommended tours and events I would have never known without him, which were outstanding. The hostel is very social and in a nice, safe and authentic

Fijne plek in de stad, het is een leuke buurt. Daarnaast was het erg gezellig. De host doet zijn best voor iedereen. Vanuit het hostel kun je tours boeken. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte is knus, maar daardoor ontmoet je heel erg gemakkelijk andere reizigers. De faciliteiten waren echt schoon. Zeker een aanrader.

Everything was perfect, a lot of street food and restaurants near by, Ricardo is an amazing host and the guest were amazing as well

Very friendly owner helped us and gave us good advices - good communication via whatsapp. Location great to visit the city - calm neighborhood. We were allowed to drop our backpacks before the check-in. Good price for the value. The terrace is small but nice to chill.

Main downside is the size of the privat room - no place to hang towels or store lugages for two persons. The size of the hostel is also limited / in comparison of the amount of beds available ? Not so much privacy between the shower & bathroom of the hostel.

One of those hostels where you can easily make memories. I stayed in a lot of hostels in Medellin that had were a lot more expensive and more space/facilities, but the vibe and authenticity of experiences was much better here. Ricardo is a great guy, you can tell he really cares about giving his guests a good stay.

Its just a little cramped in the communal spaces, but you soon get over it.

The location is very close to the metro station and many shops. Ricardo is the loveliest host. Beds were so comfortable. Fans in the rooms and outlets/shelves by each bed. Towels were provided. There was a kitchen and fridge with basics, plus moka pots for the provided coffee. Small kitchen and common area but it usually isn't an issue. Ricardo does workouts with anyone that wants to join each morning and gives lots of options for tours etc for people to take. Curtains on all beds.

No shelves in the showers for your soaps etc. One shower had hooks but the other didn't. But really that was it!

A localização é relativamente boa, pois é próxima ao trem e demais meios de transporte da cidade, que funcionam muito bem. Infelizmente os pontos fortes da estadia ficam por aí.

Apesar da prestatividade da equipe e do clima de hostel, com pessoas de várias partes do mundo, o que torna o clima interessante, a estrutura do hostel é modesta demais. Eu e um amigo alugamos um quarto privativo que era minúsculo, mal dava para acomodar as bagagens, que tinham que ficar pelo caminho. O ventilador do quarto - que era quente - era barulhento demais. Tem poucos banheiros para a quantidade de hóspedes, o que os tornavam muito disputados. Com o excesso de gente usando, a limpeza também fica comprometido. O banho era ruim: o chuveiro não esquentava tanto e há poucas acomodações no banho para pendurar as coisas, por exemplo. Ou seja, o custo-benefício acho que não valeu a pena, pois com cerca de 100 reais a mais poderia ter sido ficar em um hotel, com uma estrutura bem melhor e talvez até com café da manhã.

Alles super sauber, sehr gemütlich, man lernt super schnell Leute kennen und kann morgens direkt mit Ricardo beim calistenics in den Tag starten. Ricardo ist super, kümmert sich um alle Anliegen und kann einem super viel über Medellin erzählen. Floresta ist ein richtig schönes Viertel und wenn man doch feiern gehen möchte, ist der nächste Club auch nicht so weit :-)

We stayed in so many places all over the world and this was one of my absolute favorite ones. This place is really special! It has an amazing atmosphere which is created by the owner Ricardo. He is such a kind and warm-hearted person. He arranges tours for the hostel and showed us many interested places off the beaten track. He told us a lot of story’s of Medellins history which was really interesting. He even did sports together with people staying in the hostel and so many other things. Also the hostel is very clean and the breakfast was nice. The area where the hostel is located is very nice and safe and a very good area to stay. This place is just so different to other hostels and we can highly recommend staying here! We had a wonderful time!

I caught a food poisoning and the hostel owner Ricardo saved me taking really good care of me. He organized an English-speaking doctor, bought medicine, prepared tea. I am incredibly thankful! He is such a kind and helpful person and that really has an impact on the overall atmosphere in the hostel.

Tout était parfait! La tranquillité, l’ambiance qui règne au sein de l’hostel la bienveillance et la localisation. Ricardo accueille chaque personne de la meilleure des manières. Il nous a mis à disposition une chambre privée puisque nous voyageons en famille. Tout est à proximité. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Ricardo est une personne incroyable! Son hostel est dans son quartier d’enfance et il nous a partagé ses souvenirs et la vie de son quartier… Hostel très propre et confortable Nous recommandons +++ !

The hostel was social but not loud at night. The owner Ricardo is always so helpful and is such a nice man. His cousin Juan is also always there to help you and give you a warm welcome! During my visit I have made tons of friends here and if I go back to Medellin I would stay here again.

L’ostello è situato in un quartiere tranquillo e sicuro, la struttura è molto confortevole e pulita ma ciò che fa la differenza e rende questo posto unico è l’host Ricardo, una persona eccezionale con un grande cuore. Se tornerai a Medellín sicuramente vorrai tornare in questo posto

It’s not in the city center but a safe area and close to the Metro. Everything is super clean! And the owner is very nice.

The WiFi signal is not very good, video calls stuck sometimes.

Sehr gemütliches Hostel, dem Besitzer ist es sehr wichtig, dass sich alle wohl fühlen, er stellt teilweise sogar die Gäste einander vor :D Außerdem gibt es eine tolle Ausstattung, sogar kostenlosen Handtücher und verschiedene Dinge die man sich ausleiehen kann wie den Regenschirm oder eine Schwimmkappe :) Ahh und es gibt ganz leckeren Kaffee, den man sich machen kann :)

Der Aufenthaltsraum/die Küche ist eher klein, aber das führt auch zu einem sozialeren Miteinander ;)

This is a true gem 💎 Not only is this the cleanest hostel I have ever been to, but it’s also run by the kindest owner you can find. Ricardo is an amazing and friendly, helpful host, who goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hostel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, very close to metro station Floresta, which connects you quickly to everything. you can also walk through whole Laureles without any trouble. Although the kitchen looks like it might be too small, somehow everyone was able to work with it. There’s free coffee and even shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms. Amazing value for money and I‘m definitely going to return here for all my future trips. Gracias Ricardo, gracias Carolina 🥰

Wonderful hostel: good area, not far from the metro, very cozy and clean inside. The owner of Ricardo and the Carolina cleaner woman made a real house from this place, from which you do not want to leave. I spent 6 days there and I am infinitely grateful for a good rest. I wish the hostel prosperity, kind and neat guests!

Notre séjour à Medellin fut exceptionnel de par l'accueil de Ricardo. La localisation de son hôtel proche du métro dans un super quartier, la propreté... Tout fut parfait !

Muy bien ubicada, a 3 calles del metro, lo que facilita el acceso a moverse por la ciudad. El barrio es super cool, tiene mucho para hacer.

Supernetter Host, Ricardo hilft bei allen Fragen und sorgt dafür, dass sich die Gäste untereinander kennen. Familiäre Unterkunft, nah an der Metro in einem angenehmen, nicht touristischen Viertel.

Manchmal wird es in der Nachbarschaft nachts lauter (Musik).

Amazing place, small but well equipped kitchen, clean, good showers. 10 min walk from Floresta metro station, nearby super marcado. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Safe area to walk around. Ricardo is a great host super helpful. I stayed here twice.

La amabilidad del propietario, un lugar tranquilo, sus áreas comunes y todo muy higiénico, muy acogedor, cerca a la estación del metro, centros comerciales, al estadio se puede llegar caminando...

L'ambiance est super sympa. Ricardo fait tout pour nous mettre à l'aise, il est toujours là pour aider et conseiller, et il est vraiment super! L'hostel est très propre, et bien situé, à 5 minutes du métro. J'ai vraiment passé un très agréable séjour. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!! 😃

L'espace commun est un peu petit, mais apparemment il y a un projet d'agrandissement, donc ça devrait le faire. Et puis ça n'empêche pas de faire de belles rencontres 😃

Like most other people, I absolutely loved this place! - Perfect location 2 min from a metro station and close to supermarkets/restaurants/banks/anything you might need in a pretty safe area - Ricardo is welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. He makes this place a home! - Kitchen (small, yes) with all the necessities to cook full meals. - Not a lot of bathrooms/showers, but even with the place full I never had to wait - I stayed in the female dorm which was really good: normal beds, curtains for privacy, plug and light, and gorgeous views over Medellin. - It’s a small place that brings people together: not a party hostel, but rather a chill/family hostel. We all bonded very quickly and had long nights of hanging out on the terrace. The vibes were perfect

Everything. The warm welcome by the owner Ricardo. The chill vibe amongst the guests. The cleaniness of the space is top notch. the kitchen is not big but fully equipped! I love the little terrace that give a nice view of the street and neighbourhood. Located a few minutes walk from the metro, has lots of restaurant around and I feel very safe walking around in the neighbourhood in the evening by myself. We also went to a very interesting (free) walking tour in the neighbourhood, given by Ricardo, who grew up in this neighbourhood laureles. You could feel the level of attention and intention they have put in running this hostel. I stayed for a week and definitely would recommend and come back!

The hostel is located in a safe neighborhood in Medellin and is right next to a metro station. The hostel used is very clean and has a small, but sufficient kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The owner Ricardo is such a genuine and lovely person. I wish this place remains a hidden gem.

Super clean and quiet place, perfect for me to rest and recharge after an exhausting travel episode before. Everything is with a love for details and hospitality. Plus, well-connected to metro, restaurants, markets. The host is very knowledgable about the city and activities. Just let him know what you are looking for!

Sometimes waiting time for the bathroom and mattresses were loud when you moved due to the plastic wrapping. No problem for a couple of nights though

I loved this hostel. It was so conveniently located close to the train line… so easy to get to places. Richardo the owner is so lovely and was very knowledgeable. Great little well stock kitchen. A gem of place in a very safe area!

I liked absolutely everything!! This is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, anywhere, just amazing. Everyone is super nice and the host is so thoughtful and generous. I had a beautiful view of one of the mountain sides of Medellin from the big windows next to my bed in the loft (that's the female only dormitory with only three beds). The neighborhood is extremely safe, you have a privacy curtain, comfortable bed super white sheets, your own individual light above your bed with a plug-in and security lockers for your valuables. it's quite small and informal, easy to meet other guests. The owner gave us lots of advice and was very helpful in every way, including a free tour of the neighborhood, he knows everyone. I very highly recommend it, I just can't say enough about how great my stay in this place was!

For me everything was perfect, I will mention that there are only two bathrooms but we were not very many guests and so that was no problem but if it was full you might need to plan around that. the kitchen is pretty minimal but I cooked three times and I found everything I needed, but if two people were cooking at the same time it might be a bit less comfortable. Restaurants are so inexpensive around the area it's hardly worth going to the grocery store but I like to eat my own cooking anyway
