Ανετη διαμονή σε πολύ όμορφα διαμορφωμένο παραδοσιακο ξενώνα, το πρωινό χορταστικοτατο σε ένα ξεχωριστό κτίριο ακριβώς πάνω από τον ξενώνα, όλα πολύ προσεγμένα με μεράκι. Παρκινγκ ακριβώς απέξω, έχει καλντερίμι για το κέντρο του χωριού με τα πόδια. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ευγενέστατος και κατατοπιστικός.

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα!

Πολύ όμορφος ξενώνας, με ωραίο πρωινό. Όλα πεντακάθαρα και περιποιημένα. Ο Χάρης εξυπηρετικότατος, μας βοήθησε με όλα. Υπήρχε κοινόχρηστο καθιστικό και ψυγείο, οπότε είχαμε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν.

Στο τρίκλινο δωμάτιο που μείναμε δεν υπήρχε μπαλκόνι, μόνο παράθυρο, αλλά αυτό δεν ήταν πρόβλημα γιατί μείναμε μόνο ένα βράδυ. Ο ξενώνας βρίσκεται στο πάνω μέρος του χωριού και για να κατέβουμε στην πλατεία δεν υπήρχε αρκετός φωτισμός. Αυτό όμως προφανώς είναι θέμα του χωριού, του δήμου.

Haris was very nice and very helpful. Good knowledge about hiking and Mainalon trail routes. We will meet again! Quiet, very comfortable rooms.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux. Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux et copieux. L'ambiance était conviviale. Encore merci à notre hôte pour sa disponibilité, sa gentillesse et ses précieux conseils.

Καταπληκτικό παιδί ο Χάρης πολύ φιλόξενος. Ο ξενώνας είναι πολύ όμορφος και τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα. Περάσαμε δύο υπέροχες μέρες στην ορεινή Αρκαδία και ελπίζουμε να ξαναπάμε σύντομα. Ευχαριστούμε για την φιλοξενία.

If you go when the weather is not so good, you can better choose a room upstairs, because in the lower rooms you have no view outside.

We loved Gartagani. Haris, the host was so gracious and made sure our dietary restrictions were taken care of. He also hooked us up with a dazer and map. Thanks so much for a comfortable stay.

The room was large, well furnished and the beds very comfortable. We had a little verandah with a fantastic view. The host Harris was very helpful always. The surrounding area was delightful especially the walk to the monastery of Podromos.

Only a very slight thing, that it was a bit of a walk to the square and back and we didn’t want to drive the whole way around. But for younger, fitter people, that wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Great views from here looking down over the village and valleys. Room nice, great bedding and toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast lovely and a super helpful English speaking host. Steep haul up from the village if on foot (as I was, but quite manageable. Plenty of parking.

Tolle Lage am Ortrand mit weitem Blick auf Stemnitsa und die Landschaft. Es gab abkürzende Fußwege ins Dorf. Auf dem Balkon konnten wir den Abend genießen. Wir waren eine Nacht dort und für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Zimmer gut geeignet. Die Betten haben für uns gepasst und auch das Bad hat unsere Ansprüche voll erfüllt. Der Gastgeber war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen mit guter Kommunikation. Wir hätten viele weitere Tipps erhalten können, die wir aber für die Kürze des Aufenthaltes nicht benötigten. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft gewesen. Wenn möglich, werden wir gerne wiederkommen

Das Licht im Zimmer war nicht optimal: Das Nachttischlicht zu schwach zum Lesen und das Deckenlicht ungemütlich. - aber nur ein Luxusproblem.

Ich habe mich hier 100% wohl gefühlt! Der Besitzer ist sehr sympathisch und macht ein unglaublich tolles Frühstück! Ich würde immer wieder hier übernachten und kann das Gästehaus sehr empfehlen!

Charmantes altes Steinhaus mit traumhaften Blick über die Berge und den Ort! Hübscher, aber steiler Weg in den Ort. Kann etwas ermüdend sein, wenn man den ganzen Tag wandern war 😀 Der Besitzer Charis ist superfreundlich, macht ein tolles Frühstüch und hilft sehr kompetent bei den Wandervorschlägen.

Nichts wesentliches! Dass nur eine Taverne geöffnet hatte, deren Speisekarte wir nach 3 Tagen durchhalten, dafür kann das guest house nichts.

L’emplacement un peu en dehors du village et à moins de 10 minutes à pieds. Le personnel extrêmement gentil, le P. Déjeuner très bien. Le logement simple et très propre. Logement très bien pour séjourner dans ce petit village charmant.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στον Ξενώνα Γαρταγάνη! Από την πρώτη στιγμή νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας, καθώς ο χώρος είναι πολύ ζεστός, πεντακάθαρος και φροντισμένος με μεράκι. Η τοποθεσία είναι πραγματικά ιδανική για χαλάρωση, μέσα στη φύση και με απόλυτη ησυχία. Ήταν ό,τι ακριβώς χρειαζόμασταν για να ξεφύγουμε από την καθημερινότητα. Ο κύριος Χάρης είναι ένας εξαιρετικός οικοδεσπότης – ευγενικός, φιλόξενος και πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει. Αυτό που ξεχωρίσαμε ιδιαίτερα είναι ότι γνωρίζει πολύ καλά την περιοχή και μπορεί να δώσει πολύτιμες συμβουλές για όμορφα μονοπάτια και διαδρομές, ιδανικές για όσους αγαπούν το περπάτημα και τη φύση. Σίγουρα θα το επισκεφθούμε ξανά και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Chambre décevante car minuscule et très sombre.

The host was very nice and helped with all our questions and provided information, the breakfast was great and the location is perfect for the Menalon trail.

The accommodation is basic, but it is good value for money.

Het perfecte verblijf en de ideale start voor wie, net als ons, de MenalonTrail wandelt. Host voorziet alle informatie over de trail. Kleine slaapkamer, maar dat wordt ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de extra ruimte voor onze rugzakken en schoenen. Ook de gemeenschappelijke ruimte (lounge) was schitterend. Heel goed ontbijt en leuk terras.

Schöne Unterkunft am oberen Ortsrand von Stemnitsa. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht und haben quasi eine ganze Wohnung einschließlich Wohnzimmer mit alter Gewölbedecke (und noch selbstgebackene Kekse!) bekommen - TOP! Das Frühstück ist SEHR reichhaltig, der Gastgeber sehr nett. Der Weg hinunter zur Ortsmitte mit verschiedenen Restaurants und Cafés (und vor allem wieder hinauf) ist anstrengend, aber sehr romantisch, und es ist schließlich ein Bergdorf. Klare Empfehlung!

The location is unbelievable! Greek mountainous nature at her best!! The facilities were more than comfortable and literally included everything a guest could need in full harmony with the surrounding environment. Harris, the owner, one of the most positive persons in this business. He is everywhere, any time for anything.

Lovely room with tea, coffee and water. The host met us with a welcome juice and biscuit. Breakfast was extremely generous. Very quiet as it is at the top of the village. A visit to the Prodhromou monastery just outside Stemnitsa is worth the 7 km hairpin drive.

Limited places to eat in the village at night. You need to be able bodied to walk down to the village and back!

Εξαιρετικός ξενώνας σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία αν αναζητάς μια απόδραση από την αναστάτωση της πόλης. Η πρόσβαση ήταν εύκολη, ο δρόμος βατός, το δωμάτιο καθαρό και με δική του θέρμανση, ζεστό νερό 24/7 και το πρωινό εξαιρετικό! Ο κύριος που μας υποδέχτηκε ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και μας έδωσε πληροφορίες για τα γύρω χωριά για να αξιοποιήσουμε το χρόνο μας κάνοντας βόλτα στις τριγύρω τοποθεσίες. Θα ξαναπάω σίγουρα να μείνω εκεί όταν ξαναπάω Στεμνίτσα!

Comfortable clean room with a very welcoming host. It's a bit of a walk down to the village, but it's picturesque and we didn't mind.

Stunning view from the balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ample breakfast. Parking available. Good value. There is a path from the guesthouse to the village below, which is a more direct option than taking the roads.

The room was quite small eg opening the bathroom door collided with the bedside table. There was very little room to move around, as is often the case in Europe. The access road to the hotel is very narrow, as you would expect in an old mountain village.
