Easy to check in

It was very unclean. Both the common area kitchen and the private bedroom. The light bulb in small lamp needs to be changed so couldn’t use it. Dirty unvaccumed floor under bed. Found empty water bottle left in drawer with someone’s map, broken necklace left in drawer. Basic things that should be cleaned out before the next guest arrives. Common area kitchen left dirty, utensils not cleaned properly, olive oil left uncapped and things scattered around. Did not make me feel comfortable to even use the kitchen.

John's place he's highly recommended. If you are looking for a quiet room before or after your flight from the airport.

The door to room 3 is noisy when being opened which might disturb guests.

Pratique pour rejoindre l'aéroport.

Le logement n'est pas propre. De plus, quelqu'un est entré par un escalier intérieur pendant que nous prenions le petit dejeuner, 2 fois de suite, sans s'annoncer ni nous répondre. Les aliments que nous avions laissés dans le réfrigérateur pour les autres membres de notre famille (logés dans une autre chambre de la maison et qui partaient plus tard) ont été pris sans nous prévenir, et cela bien avant l'heure limite du départ. Après réclamation, nous avons été remboursés pour partie de ces provisions mais cela n'enlève rien aux inconvénients causés (petit déjeuners et déjeuners qui ont dûs être achetés en catastrophe avant le départ pour l'aéroport).

Quiet, good neighbourhood, very nice bathroom, great mattress and blankets. Water, candies and coffee were self serve. Location was ok. Good on street parking.

Seemed pricey, extra charges. It was very hot in the room. Fortunately there was a fan that helped to cool it at night. House was being remodelled over time-good work, still more to go.

C'était correcte pour 1 nuit nous étions proche de l'aéroport pour notre départ'nous etions au sous-sol plafond etait un peu magané mais es lieux étaient satisfaisant,.Bon rapport qualité prix.

Salle de bain tres petite et des affaires étaient laisser là par terre dans la douche manquait d'espaces de rangement pour mettre les produits de bains. Le reste etait correcte.

Our room was extremely hot, the shower had a lot of hair on the floor. For $187 a night we were a bit disappointed

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was cleaned every day. Easy to find and nice neighborhood

Kitchen facilities were very sparse. Nowhere to sit to eat. Besides the awkward throne like chair on the front porch there was no comfortable seating provided to relax.

Location was what we needed. There was coffee and tea. They were very accommodating with bags and early check in. Room super spacious.

Property could be a bit cleaner. You can tell that is not clean property. Underneath the bed there was so much dust. Bathroom walls looked like never being cleaned. Also, the person staying in one of the rooms was def smoking as our room smelled terrible on the first night. Second night was fine.

Large room with comfortable bed. Very quiet green area. I slept very well. Easy to get to on public transport. And near the airport.

The room was nice, convenient entry for my late flight arrival/ early departure. Shower was great and the bed was comfy.

Didn't notice the $50 "environmental fee" until after booking. I know thats on me, but a little outrageous of a price since I was only there for about 6 hours total and didnt leave a trace.

The room and the shared bathroom is clean. The community is safe and is close from the airport. The host is nice and can store luggage after you leave.

The public space have a weird smell. But the room didn't have it. The room is at the second floor without elevator. The lock for the room is old and use key.

The location was excellent, easy to find, good parking, all well explained, I was nicely surprised that all was so nice, the room the place, parking. All was excellent. For sure im coming back.

Great location.Convenient public transport to get from / to airport. Clean and comfortable house. You have all you need for your stay - coffee, tea, fridge, microwave. Bathroom is crystal clean. Quality bedding and towels.

It’s close to public transport and restaurants . Room and facilities are clean. They offered drinks like water, tea and coffee. Microwave, toaster and refrigerator are available for use. John is also very responsive and helpful.

- Good located near the airport - The sleeping room was clean.

- 1.5 hours after the actual check-in, we received a message from the host giving us a new address in a different neighborhood, informing us that this would now be our new room. Luckily, we were still a 10-minute drive away, otherwise we would have been in the completely wrong place. Furthermore, it's very strange and dubious that one is taken to a completely different house. He wrote that the reason was due to renovations in the bathroom of the other house. But surely this wouldn't have been known only an hour after check-in. - The bathroom wasn't clean. There were personal belongings lying around everywhere, as if someone lived there permanently. There were also silverfish in the shower. - The kitchen and living room looked as if someone actually lived there. We weren't sure until the very end whether it was usable for us or not. There were boxes everywhere, moldy cups in the sink, and the sofa looked like a converted bed. - In the morning, when we were leaving two hours before the official checkout time, someone was already standing at our door with fresh bed linens, waiting for us to leave so he could come in. Presumably it was the host, but he didn't really introduce himself. - Airport-Shuttle: The provider offered an airport shuttle service beforehand. We accepted this offer and agreed on a time with them. Then, the day before, they wrote to say it wouldn't work after all and we should take an Uber.

Only 1 towel, never saw John or other staff, 4 guest rooms to one bathroom (which was the biggest concern), smoker in other room and smell came into mine despite them not smoking inside, bed linens were VERY NICE but bed creaked a lot, I thought it was a B AND B, but more like a rooming house. To be clear, it was excellent value, and I'd stay again perhaps, but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Smoking outside on patio under my room so couldn't open window to get rid of smoke smell inside either.

El acceso fue sumamente eficiente gracias a un sistema de claves lógico y sin fricciones, lo que facilitó la llegada. El lugar se encontraba en excelentes condiciones de limpieza, con acceso funcional a la cocina y un baño de alto nivel, tipo premium. Destaca especialmente el piso de madera, estéticamente muy atractivo y aparentemente nuevo, lo que eleva la percepción de calidad del espacio.

Honestamente, no hubo ningún aspecto negativo que señalar. La experiencia fue totalmente satisfactoria.

I had a late flight to Vancouver airport and it was close by. The bed was really comfortable and it was in a quiet neighborhood. The shower was really nice.

オーナーの対応が非常に悪すぎて、一晩バンクーバー中を振り回された結果一泊もすることができなかった。 まずそもそもの話だが、オンラインで会話する時も、対面でも歓迎されてる感は一切なく、とても冷たい対応だった。そして宿（というか家）に着いたら入り方の説明もないのでチャイムを鳴らしたら、「なぜ鳴らした？」といわれて戸惑った。部屋の説明もなく「Go Up」の一言だけ。四つ部屋があるから、どれですか？って聞いても「1番だよ？オンラインで説明したでしょ？」と言われて、少し怖くも感じた。部屋に入ると、ベッド、タオルはあったが、本当にそれくらい。強いて言えば、他には床になぜか枯葉がたくさん落ちていて、掃除はされてないのかな〜？って感じたくらい。後に明らかになったが、この施設の利用説明が自分には送られておらず、この時もwifi の使い方や、部屋の鍵、夜帰ってきた時の家に入るためのpinキーの説明もされていなかった。 後々来るのかな、と思いバンクーバーを旅して夜家に帰ったら家に入れない。アプリを通して連絡してもオーナーからは反応なし。最終手段で電話をしても、まさかの留守電で無反応。Booking.comのカスタマーサービスにお願いをして、オーナーに連絡を取ってもらったが、結局無反応。この時大変だったことが、チェックインした時に部屋に充電器を含む全ての荷物を置いてきたこと。booking.comの人と連絡を取るためスマホの充電は必要だが宿周辺は本当に住宅街のため、まさかの空港に行きスマホを充電するハメに。 最終的にその日のうちに連絡は帰ってくることはなく、新しい宿に変更になった。1人部屋から6人共同部屋に変更を余儀なくされ、1人でバンクーバーの深夜をさまよわされ、深夜3時に空港からバンクーバーダウンタウンまでバス移動をさせられた。この人生で1番怖い夜を体験させてくれた、そんなお宿です。 そして翌朝、「sorry I missed your message」と共に、今になって施設の利用説明がされた。もう宿は帰れたので、とりあえず荷物だけ取りにまた帰ったら、初めて歓迎されてる感じの対応をされた。前日とは打って変わって、とても喋るわ、心配してくれるわ（夜大丈夫だった、ではなくこのお部屋の設備の心配）で、どうにかしていい評価をしてほしい感はあったが、深夜にたくさんの移動を余儀なくされ、次の日の予定も全て崩れたのにも関わらず、自分には謝罪はなし。荷物だけまとめて帰らさせていただきました。 まぁでも、宿泊費80ドルだったから予約したら、それと同じくらい環境保護費とか言う理由で75ドル取られて、さらに追加料金取られて、話が違うじゃん!高すぎだろこの立地の割には！って思ってたので、お金が全部返金されたのは嬉しかったです。 人生で1番恐ろしい体験をしました。2度とこの様な経験を他の人がしなければ良いのですが、、、 他の人のコメントを見ても、本当に、、？サクラなんじゃないか、、？と思ってしまうのが正直なところです。これから泊まる人に、自分の体験が参考になると幸いです。

Quiet and good location

the house was adorable and there are some amenity (used one like shampoo and toothpaste etc) so I needed only my facial form.

the host brought a lot of his friends and they enjoyed party loudly. it was too loud to do something. at that time I worked there. the noise bothered me very much.

I was looking for a cozy place to rest before my flight and this was perfect. The rooms were nice and comfy with access to great facilities. It was cleanly and quiet. I would highly recommend

John was responsive and helpful in his communication. Welcomed us when we arrived and allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. Bed was incredibly comfortable so slept well. Coffee and tea facilities was a nice touch. Conveniently located to airport.

Accumulation of old soaps in the bathroom. However clean enough and nice hot shower. Bedroom clean and comfortable.

Ideal location & reasonable price. Really easy self check in.

Only problem is the bathroom is right next to the bedroom so you can hear everything.
