It was the most expensive hostel I stayed in in the Dominican Republic and also the worst. It is quite run down and not very clean. It doesn't even have a social atmosphere. So my recommendation would be not to stay here but look for an airbnb.

The room was shabby. Stains on walls and the "marble" floors. No hot water in the shower. The "mountain view" is from a terrace that is not furnished. There was no window in my room, except a tiny one - inside the closet! The closet had no hangers, and looked dirty.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2022Had a good stay at Jarabacoa, the location is perfect near the caribe tours station and the city centre. The host was very hospitable and will help you with anything you want in Englisch or Spanish
The room was located on the steeetside but with some simple earplugs I still had a great night time rest
