Ondanks dat we een huisje kregen op het grote parkeerterrein kun je nergens buiten zitten en het huisje heeft maar 1 klein raampje. Ook de indeling kan praktischer. Maar verder prima verblijf.

Badezimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sehr kleine Duschkabine, aber in Anbetracht des moderaten Zimmerpreises absolut akzeptabel. Achtung! Wer Sonntags hier übernachtet: die Restaurants im Umkreis machen sehr früh zu, 17 Uhr Küchenschluss. Gegenüber die Strandbar hat Snacks bis 20 Uhr verfügbar. Kein Supermarkt in der Nähe.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026It's a quiet, private place and it has everything you need. Owners are really nice and helpful. Beach is literally over the road, with many other beaches in very close proximity too. Local cafes are welcoming and really good value. Matosinhos beachfront promenade stretches a long way and is great for walking, jogging and cycling, it offers amazing views on the ocean and the coast, passing landmarks, cafes and restaurants.
Water in the shower can be a little tricky to set up the temperature right, but that's just a minor thing

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Frente al alojamiento hay un estupendo bar de playa donde sentarse a ver el mar. Y si desde él solo miras de frente, no ves la fábrica horrorosa que hay en la playa
- me alojé en la habitación individual. No esperaba vistas al mar, pero tampoco que se hubiera tapado la ventana de la habitación que aparece en las fotos originales de Booking, convirtiéndola en un cuarto interior. Ha quedado solo un mini respiradero con cristal opaco, que no permite ver la calle. Y teniendo en cuenta que uno tampoco puede ver a través de la ventana del baño, si estás dentro no tienes una sola perspectiva de la calle. Imposible saber si hace lluvia o hace sol, ni ventilar en condiciones. Decepción y agobio total. Nunca hubiera alquilado ese cuarto de saber que no tenía ventana - Las fotos del entorno son extraordinarias en Booking, lo que no se cuenta, es que en la misma playa, hay una gran fábrica con un montón de chimeneas, que es lo último que alguien querría tener al lado en un día de sol y arena. Después de ver durante el día magníficas playas en la zona, la decepción de ver la playa donde estaba el alojamiento elegido, fue enorme

The rooms were much hotter than outside with no fans or anything so we have to leave the windows open and at night the road outside turns into a racetrack. Just tons of modified cars and motorbikes. Even though the staff were lovely, I can’t recommend this place really. The location is great other than the road so we did really enjoy the beach the morning after staying here but we were happy it was only 1 night.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Locatie dicht bij zee. Paar honderd meter lopen en je bent bij mooie stranden ! Net voor het huis is het rotsig en zou ik niet gaan zwemmen. Er zijn diverse prima restaurants dichtbij in de buurt met een goede kaart. Er is ruime parkeergelegenheid bij het huis. Het personeel (de eigenaars) zijn op zich aardige mensen, communicatie OK.
We hadden voor ons gezin van 4 personen 2 ruimtes gehuurd, een voor 3 personen en 1 kamer voor een persoon alleen. De ruimte voor 3 personen was niet in het hoofdgebouw maar in een losstaand annex gebouw. Midden in de zomer, die warm is in Porto, met een plat dak en slechts 1 klein raampje dat open kan, geen airco, slechts een ventilator, was het voor mijn gezin in de annex 's nachts niet te harden. Temperatuur bleef extreem hoog en benauwd waardoor zij niet konden slapen. Vanuit de foto's van de locatie, op grond waarvan wij tot deze plek kwamen, was dit onvoldoende duidelijk. Als je met 2 personen komt, in het koelere voor of najaar is de plek misschien best OK, maar in de warme zomer niet. Een aanwezige airco had hier wonderen kunnen verrichten.

La cucina è in condivisione. Gli spazi sono piccolini e bui. Non c'è molta cura nei dettagli e nella pulizia.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Uns hat besonders die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber gefallen. Es scheint ein Familienunternehmen zu sein und wirklich alle waren super lieb und haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt außerdem wirklich sehr nah am Strand – man muss nur über die Straße gehen und ist praktisch schon am Meer. Direkt dort gibt es eine tolle Strandbar mit wirklich den besten Hotdogs ever 😊 und ein Stück weiter noch eine weitere Strandbar. Auch ein Kinderspielplatz ist ganz in der Nähe, was für Familien natürlich super ist. Der Strand direkt vor der Unterkunft ist allerdings ziemlich felsig. Wenn man richtig ins Wasser und baden möchte, muss man ein kleines Stück laufen, aber das ist wirklich nicht weit. Das größere unserer beiden gebuchten Zimmer mit den zwei großen Betten war ebenfalls sehr schön. Unsere Freunde und die Kinder haben dort sehr gut geschlafen. Alles in allem haben uns die Lage, die Nähe zum Meer und vor allem die unglaublich herzlichen Gastgeber sehr gut gefallen.
Was uns leider nicht so gut gefallen hat, war das kleinere unserer beiden Zimmer. Meine Mutter und ich haben dort zu zweit übernachtet und für zwei erwachsene Personen fanden wir es einfach zu klein. Für eine einzelne Person wäre es sicherlich völlig in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer ist nur durch eine Glaswand vom Schlafbereich getrennt, sodass man nachts jedes Mal wach wurde, wenn die andere Person zur Toilette musste. Außerdem war es im Zimmer sehr warm und wir hatten kaum die Möglichkeit, richtig frische Luft hereinzubekommen. Dadurch haben meine Mutter und ich leider beide Nächte sehr schlecht geschlafen. Etwas unterschätzt hatten wir außerdem die Lautstärke der Straße bzw. Promenade direkt vor der Unterkunft. Bis spät abends fahren dort viele Autos und Motorräder vorbei, teilweise auch sehr laut. Dafür können die Gastgeber natürlich überhaupt nichts, trotzdem sollte man es wissen, wenn man nachts eher Ruhe braucht. Das war wirklich schade, denn ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich. Aufgrund des kleinen Zimmers und der zwei sehr unruhigen Nächte würden meine Mutter und ich persönlich jedoch nicht noch einmal in diesem Zimmer übernachten.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Ich wurde sehr herzlich aufgenommen und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer (und vor allem das Bett) war wirklich schön und die Lage ist wirklich toll. Natürlich ist es durch die Hauptstraße etwas lauter, aber zeitgleich habe ich immer auch das Meeresrauschen gehört. Ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen!

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Located right across the street from Praia do Paraiso and adjacent to the magnificent Veleiros restaurant. There are plenty of other dining options nearby, as well as in nearby shopping centers (like Mar Shopping). The beach has quite a few rocky areas, so you have to look for a spot without rocks. A quiet location, private parking, the beach right across the street... what more could you need?
There is a refinery nearby (worth noting only for aesthetic reasons, but it causes no issues). The house is right next to the road, but apart from the occasional noisy car, the area is quiet.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Die Lage war Top. Vom Balkon aus hatte man eine tolle Aussicht. Ich würde jedem empfehlen dort zu Übernachten.
Kinderbett war zu klein für meine Tochter. Wusste nicht, dass man den Balkon mit den Zimmernachbarn teilen muss. Mag nicht jeder.

Fin juin, il n'y avais pas beaucoup de restaurant ouvert.

Der Zustand des Zimmers ist nicht besonders gut und es ist extrem eng. Vieles ist Reparatur bedürftig. Auch im Bad ist einiges nicht gut erhalten. Am schlimmsten ist das sehr stark parfümierte Waschpulver dass für das Bett verwendet wurde. Ein geruchneutrales wäre sehr wünschenswert. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist hochgradig verschimmelt. Wenn man die Schränke auf macht riecht es extrem modrig.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026De host spreekt geen woord Engels, alleen maar Portugees. Maar met handen en voeten komen we samen tot een geweldig oordeel! Vooral het aangeven dat onze huurauto een schoonmaakbeurt nodig had, en zelf daarna alles droog begon te poetsen. Gewoonweg hilarisch!
