Room was dated, tatty, dark, furniture tired, desperately needed redecoration. Was a bit dusty in places too. No facilities for a packed breakfast for an early departure due to ferry and plane departures from the island, so missed breakfast. No lounge available.

The toilet in room 33 (top floor) was a very tight squeeze between the wall and the shower. However, the room was big with three single beds.

Ontbijt was goed, bediening was vriendelijk. Ontbijttijd vrij kort van 8:30 tot 9:30 (maar ik heb het idee dat hier wel van afgeweken kon worden). Zwembad op 200 meter (in zee) was heerlijk.

Het was bloedheet op onze kamer, geen airco. En de douche mocht eigenlijk de naam douche niet hebben, een waterdruppelaar was beter geweest. Bedden zijn voor iemand > 1.8 m aan de korte kant.

Ne changez rien sauf peut être La moquette ou à la shampoigner un.peu car elle commence à être bien fatiguée usures et taches mais rien de bien grave car l ambiance est tellement ancienne et sympatique ,nous apprécions ce voyage géographique et temporelle ainsi que cet endroit ...idem.pour la douche

Très proche de la plage et à 15 minutes du centre de St Helier. Hôtesses charmantes.

Très très vieillot. Lits à ressorts. Un petit filet d'eau dans la douche de la chambre triple. Lits et serviettes et sanitaires propres mais moquette de la chambre pleine de taches, des plinthes défoncées et noires dans les sdb. Petit déjeuner avec boisson chaude, œuf, bacon grossier , saucisse pâteuse et beans Heinz. Pas de laitage, pas de fruit et tous les jours la même chose. Dommage !

Die Badezimmertür ließ sich beim 3 Bett Zimmer nicht schließen.

Many things are not ok in this place: bathrooms were dirty, with moisture, there were holes in the mattresses, there was no curtains in one of the room, side table a falling apart…. Price is low - but it is not because it is low that it is ok to be below basic hospitality standard.

La salle de bain très très vieille et la moquette pas très nette

Malgré un départ tôt, le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix m'a été servi. Petit déjeuner copieux. Bouilloire dans la chambre. Près d'une plage.

Pas de pommeau de douche, seulement une sortie d'eau en hauteur. Très petite salle de bain. Ensemble assez vieillot. Pas de sèche cheveux. On entend les gens qui marchent de la chambre au dessus. Un peu loin du centre ville ( 20 mn à pied environ en passant sous un tunnel !!).

La chambre était conforme à ce que nous avions réservé. Le lit était confortable la propreté était au rendez-vous.

Lors de notre arrivée nous avons été accueillis par une dame qui nous a demandé de choisir notre nom sur une liste de papier elle nous a remis un petit papier nous disant que c'était le code de la porte d'entrée et puis c'est tout nous n'avons pas eu d'information ni sur le petit-déjeuner ni sur les horaires ni sur comment ça allait se passer. Nous sommes revenus plusieurs fois dans la journée sans trouver personne à la réception sans avoir d'indication non plus ni dans les chambres ni niveau l'adresse de réception pour nous indiquer les horaires du petit déjeuner Le lendemain matin nous devions partir de bonne heure car nous avions prévu une randonnée avec guide départ de Saint-Hélier pour 7h 55 nous avons été surpris de trouver la porte du petit déjeuner fermé dans un premier temps puis ouverte mais bloqué avec une chaise dans un deuxième temps nous avons appelé plusieurs fois sonner plusieurs fois personne ne nous a répondu nous sommes donc parti de l'établissement sans avoir pu profiter du petit-déjeuner. Nous avons été obligés d'acheter pour ça même de saint-hélie un petit déjeuner quelques heures plus tard pour pallier notre fain C'est en mettant le petit papier soit disant été uniquement le code d'accès à la chambre que nous avons vu qu'il y avait une toute petite phrase disant qu'il était servi de 8h30 à 9h30...

Standard English breakfast option, which is good. The staff were good and polite.

The infrastructure was quite poor- the Wi-Fi on the top floor almost does not work, and the fan stops suddenly. Upon asking the staff, I found out that the USB plug needs to be unplugged and then plugged back in. It worked once or twice, but then it completely stopped. The bathroom window did not open, and the exhaust fan is not fully functional. The staff are very nice, so having such poor infrastructure is really dragging it down.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, quite close to the center of St Helier. The station of the loxal bus is nearby. The entrance area is full of flowers. The room has street view. There is tea maker in the room. The breakfast is good.

The WiFi was not working due to a technical problem. There is no air conditioning in the room, but only a ventilator. The bathroom is very small. The sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. The twin beds are small and uncomfortable. The breakfast is served only between 8:30 and 9:30 am.

Le style de l'hotel un peu familiale et son confort. Le petit déjeuner copieux. Situé a 200 mètres de la plage. Nous nous déplacions en velo et le centre ville de St Helier était facilement accessible par la piste cyclable. La facade de l'hotel est joliment et abondament fleurie.

C’est la deuxième fois que je reviens au Thalatta et l’emplacement est superbe. En 10 minutes à pieds, nous arrivons au centre-ville de Saint-Helier et la mer se trouve à 1 minute à pieds. Le petit dej est vraiment exceptionnel. Nous avons également apprécié la déco très british et avons bien dormi (chambre restée tempérée malgré la chaleur à l’extérieur).

It seemed that the staff couldn't care less about the job. The woman who let me in couldn't even squeeze a smile (it seemed she was even unhappy that I even came) and refused to pack my breakfast which I couldn't have at their regular time (they serve it strictly from 8.30 to 9.30 am).

The room was spacious and bright. Full English breakfast was good.

The bedding and towels were a bit dirty, got stains and hair , not up to good standard.

Staff are absolutely lovely, very helpful and attentive. Decor dated but homely and everything needed there and staff and welcoming feel more than make up for dated decor. Breakfast was lovely and quick.For the price this is a great location and would definitely stay again.

It was a great location just minutes from bus stops and the Lido. Everyone were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, juice, cereal, and cooked breakfast. Beds were comfortable and clean.

La chambre est plutôt vieillotte mais elle a son charme. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié. L'emplacement de la Guest House est appréciable car elle se situe à 20/25 mn de marche du débarcadère.

En ce qui concerne la chambre, je pense qu'il faudrait changer la moquette, remplacer le rideau de douche par une paroi en verre et installer des sièges un peu plus adaptés aux adultes que les pliants réservés aux enfants mis à disposition.

Huis was erg gedateerd en niet erg hygiënisch. Behang in de badkamer is niet mijn ding , in de slaapkamer mogen ze het wel een keer overschilderen, en bij het meubilair van mijn oma ontbrak links en rechts het fineer. In de brochure stond zeepjes enzo, dat waren gebruikte kleine flesjes als in een hotel. Aan de straatzijde is het zeer warm

Clean, basic but did the job. Nice location near the sea, in a quiet road but not far from the centre. Very good value for money.Very helpful when I needed to stay an extra night unexpectedly. The person who served the breakfasts was very pleasant and helpful and the food was fine.

I wasn't made to feel very welcome when I arrived, but perhaps it was just a case of the person who checked me in being a bit shy. The room smelled of bleach and old carpet - though it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was good but a bit tricky to control when switching it off; watch out for the temperature control moving along with the flow control accidentally (a scalding risk). The right-hand window wouldn't stay in position once opened and slowly squeaked its way down to the fully open position, which was not ideal given that the room was on the ground floor. I'd say the whole property could do with a bit of renovation. No hairdryer, but that's not surprising for the price.

Nous avons adoré l emplacement près de la plage ,l hôtel typiquement anglais et peu moderne un vrai retour à la simplicité ...nous y sommes allés déjà pour la 2èmefois et y retournons 3 nuits très prochainement .convient aux personnes qui n aiment pas être totalement pris en charge et qui aime revenir aux années 80 voir 70 .

Parfois un peu de bruit entre les chambremais rien de dramatique on dort très bien ...nous sommes fans difficile de dire du negatif

L'acceuil était moyen à l'arrivée, par contre l'autre dame du petit déjeuner souriante et agréable. Ce guesthouse aurait vraiment besoin d'une rénovation même s'il est très propre. Il est bien situé mais par contre pas de parking aussi difficulté por ce garer, le parking payant en haut de la rue était complet les 2 soirs. Petit déjeuber très copieux. Vu les prix pratiqué à Jersey cela reste un bon plan économique.

Le mobiler et les doube-rideaux fins qui laissent beaucoup passer le jour, ce qui nous réveille tôt

De locatie, op loopafstand van het centrum en erg dicht bij het strand, in een straatje met charmante oude huizen. Een vroeger ontbijt was mogelijk omdat we de veerboot moesten halen, en we kregen zelfs een fully cooked breakfast. Erg vriendelijk. En de prijs was voor Jersey erg bescheiden.

Het is een mooi oud pand, maar de inrichting is ook oud, en dan niet mooi oud... de bedden zijn smal en kort en alles, van het tapijt tot de muur en de gordijnen heeft slijtagesporen. Dat was jammer. Maar in verhouding tot de prijs kan je daar eigenlijk niet echt over klagen, de verhouding klopt.

Although the stay was extremely short, everything was PERFECT! Cozy and very clean room with everything you needed. Extremely kind staff, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
