Gerne! Hier ist eine natürliche und gut lesbare Bewertung auf Englisch: I stayed at Sena Home as a solo traveler after booking at the last minute, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. The location is excellent, with a lovely balcony and an absolutely stunning rooftop terrace offering beautiful views of the ocean. There is also a kitchen, which is great if you want to prepare your own meals. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They even arranged my airport transfer at a very reasonable price, which made my departure completely stress-free. Overall, I would definitely give Sena Home 10/10. I highly recommend it, and I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Die Gastgeber waren beide sehr freundlich und haben uns beim Abschied sogar noch etwas kleines geschenkt - sehr aufmerksam. Der Strand war überhaupt nicht überfüllt. Perfekt, wenn man nicht so viel Lust hat auf ein überfüllten Touristenstrand. Die Gegend war ebenfalls überwiegend nicht sehr touristisch und überwiegend mit Locals gefüllt. Auch war ein großer Supermarkt direkt in Fußnähe. Unser Zimmer war groß mit einem Balkon direkt mit Meerblick, der Aufpreis für das Zimmer hat sich gelohnt.

We loved everything about our stay in Sena Home! We loved our hosts who were so kind, helpful and hospitable. They did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was very spacious and so comfortable It has floor to ceiling glass windows so we had a wonderful view of the ocean. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were so close to the beach which was never crowded. If we come back to Sri Lanka we will surely stay here again. We highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay!!!!

Everything was fantastic. The owners could not have been nicer. A beautiful room at the beach with a great roof terrace with kitchen for our use. Overall very relaxed and homely feel.

Жили на втором этаже, в номере с видом на океан. Террасы и балкона нет, они в номерах на третьем этаже (трёхместных) Просторный номер, большая кровать. Мало розеток в номере, но был удлинитель, что решил вопрос. Есть кондиционер, две wifi сети - на средних этажах и на крыше. На крыше просторная терраса с гамаками и подвесным креслом, там же очень просторная кухня со всем необходимым, на которой очень приятно готовить. В один из дней нас угостили очень вкусным ужином, приготовленным хозяевами. Очень гостеприимные люди, всегда были приветливы и готовы помочь. У гестхауса свои лежаки на пляже, который буквально в 50 м от него.

Под окнами проход на верхние этажи, не открыть занавески, если хотите сохранить приватность. Но это только один номер такой, насколько я поняла. В остальном всё было волшебно

Wundervolle,herzensliebe Gastfamilie.Einfach unglaublich liebe Leute ! Wir waren voriges Jahr schon hier und haben heuer wieder einen Stop fur ein paar Tage auf unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise hier eingelegt. Super Lage nur wenige Schritte von einem wirklich tollen Strand entfernt.Sehr ruhige Gegend, obwohl mitten in Ambalangoda gelegen ist es sehr chillig hier.Dörfliche Atmosphäre, nach ein paar Tagen kennt man jeden und fühlt sich wie zuhause. Frühstück kann man selbst kochen und auf der Dachterrasse mit traumhaftem Ausblick geniessen oder man geht ein paar Meter ins nahegelegene Peacock Restaurant welches wir sehr empfehlen. Wer es gerne urtümlich, familär und ruhig mag liegt hier genau richtig.

Äußerst nette Gastgeber haben jeden Wunsch erfüllt - einfache aber sehr gute Zimmer - sauber und wunderbar - vom Balkon traumhafter Meerblick - Strand direkt vor der Tür - Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Все было супер! Хозяева очень милая пара! Пляж рядом с домом! Супермаркет, рыбный рынок все рядом! Туристов, громкой музыки нет !

Das war die beste Unterkunft nach 5 Wochen Sri Lanka. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß ein Tisch und Stühle stehen auch darin. Auf den Dach befindet sich in freien eine sehr schöne Chill Ecke auch eine Küche ist da . Alles was man braucht. Der Strand ist super leer und sauber . 1Minute laufen. Preis Leistung Super.

Big room, comfortable bed, good shower. There is also a fridge for the use by the visitors.

Je tam super velká terasa s kuchyňskou linkou (konvice, touster, plynový dvojvařič) a super výhledem. Dům je druhý v řadě od pláže. Bohužel dům směrem k pláži, na který koukáte, má na dvoře typický asijský chaos, což trochu kazí výhled, ale majitelé to nemohou ovlivnit. Všude perfektně čisto. Nikde nebyly plísně a to je na Srí Lance vzhledem k podněbí vzácné. Majitelé milí, zařídili odvoz na letiště za dobrou cenu. Koupání bylo asi 5minut po pláži doleva, kde jsou vlnolamy, jinak bylo příliš nebezpečné.

Doporučila bych před příjezdem pořádně vyvětrat, zřejmně před námi delší dobu nikdo enbyl, v oblasti je pokojů opravdu hodně, vzduch nebyl ideální, ale po vytvoření průvanu se během prvního večera vše v podstatě vyřešilo.

The standard are so very high in this wonderful guest house with a brilliant kitchen and dining area over looking the ocean, the kitchens were very well equipped with everything you need to cook food which you can get from keels supermarket which is only two minutes walk, the furnishings was of high quality and the place is super clean with lovely bedroom. The highlight of our stay was the owners who are a beautiful sincere couple who see nothing as a problem and help you with any requests you may have. Was sad to leave and will return again for sure

Beautiful homestay run by a caring family. Close to a quiet beach and some nice restaurants. A hidden little gem!

The owners of the hotel were lovely - helping us with all sorts of things! For example, they arranged a very good boat trip for us on the Madhu river. The rooms are comfortable, the whole place is clean and the roof terrace and kitchen are really very pleasant and well-appointed! The location is great, so close to the beach; also close to the market and shops so everything is on hand.

The only thing I would change is the sheets which I found a little rough as I have very sensitive skin.

Beautiful sea view from the rooftop. It has a common kitchenette with all necessary items and refrigerator. Large dining area on the roof top with a beautiful view. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is super clean with cold and hot water. There is a Keells super within the walking distance for groceries. Ambalangoda town is also within 5 minutes drive. Owner and his family is friendly and helpful.

I wish there are soaps and shampoo in the bathroom. Wastepaper bin and tissues were also missing inside the room.

Not many cooking utensils available.

After six years I finally managed to visit Sri Lanka again, this time with a friend. Had the most wonderful time there and wanted to visit Ambalangoda again. It was fascinating how much Sonali and Brasenna had done in the meantime. Rooms were clean and comfortable as always but now there are even more rooms and a rooftop with hammocks and tables to relax and to enjoy the view on the beach, just a walking distance away. Beach is still clean and not too crowded which offers the perfectly relaxing time. And Sonali is still a brilliant cook and spoiled us a lot. Thank you so much, will come again and stay longer....

Everything was great. Apartment was very spacious and clean. The host are very kind and helpful.

This place is amazing! The beach is right in front of the house, and there is a restaurant right around the corner. The best thing was the roof terrace, from where you have an amazing view to the ocean. The owner is super nice and helps you with everything you need. There is a kitchen and a fridge what you can use. The rooms are very big, bright and cleen! I loved my stay there and hope to come back one day!

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The owner was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset.

Very nice homestay and the family is very very friendly. For ac in your rolm you have to pay 2$ extra, but thats ok I think. To the beach you walk 1 Minute, is ok for a Quick swim, but dont expect a tropical paradise. For food you find some places nearby, just ask

I like the family home ambiance and a mix of living in a non-touristy neighborhood with closeness to the beach. Nice welcoming and helpful hosts did everything to make my stay exceptionally pleasant. As a returning customer, I was pleased to see all the new developments in the home. Thank you, Prasana and Sonali for making me feel at home!

The location and proximity to the exceptional beach were a real bonus to the lovely Sena Home and the charming family who were super hosts. Thank you for a memorable holiday.
