Bagia Bungalows

The location is great next to the “Main road” of Nusa Penida and close to the harbor. From this point you can easily advance into the island’s hotspots if you are able to drive a scooter. The bed is the best I had in 3 weeks of Indonesia travelling, had the best nights of sleep here. The staff is very friendly, the food is good. Breakfast is a normal portion, but very tasteful. The pool is amazing with comfy sunbeds aswell.

The airconditioning does take a while to get the bungalow cold, but it does get cold after a hour or two. Breakfast may be a little too small for big eaters, for me it was perfect.

Internet ging 80% der Zeit nicht, ist wohl ein bekanntes Problem auf nusa penida, für das die Unterkünfte nichts können. Hinzu kommt schlechter mobil Empfang, was das ganze doppelt ärgerlich macht. Lage ist ziemlich ab vom Schuss, Roller selbst mieten schwierig bei den unfassbaren Straßenbedingungen vor Ort. Taxi Preise leider relativ hoch verglichen mit Bali und Lombok (Grab oder Gojek gibt es auf der Insel nicht)

El lugar es genial, las instalaciones son una maravilla y todo está muy cuidado. El personal es súper amable y está siempre dispuesto a ayudarte en todo momento. Ofrecen excursiones para ver mantas a un precio razonable y tienen un servicio de masajes muy bueno: las dos chicas que nos atendieron nos dieron un masaje de cuerpo entero de una hora, muy relajante y realmente agradable. También tienen una piscina estupenda y la comida está buenísima. En general, tuvimos una estancia muy agradable y nos sentimos muy bien atendidas.

Si tuviera que destacar algo negativo, sería que las sábanas de la cama estaban sucias a nuestra llegada. Sin embargo, se lo comunicamos al personal y nos las cambiaron inmediatamente, así que solucionaron el problema de forma rápida y muy amable.

Séjour très agréable, équipe efficace qui s'occupe de réserver les taxis et excursions. Agréable piscine. Nous avons pris nos repas au restaurant de l'hôtel, ils sont très bons et à petits prix. Mention spéciale pour le Mie Goreng, délicieux. Excellent rapport qualité prix !

Nous avons adoré l’attention apportée aux hôtes ! Beaux bungalows bien équipés et une piscine très agréable. Privilégiez les bungalows face à la piscine qui sont plus récents. A recommander.

We hebben drie heerlijke dagen gehad bij Bagia Bungalows. Via het verblijf hebben we een scooter gehuurd en zijn we twee dagen op pad geweest om het eiland te verkennen. De middagen sloten we af bij het zwembad. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het ontbijt was ook lekker.

Staff were exceptional- Komang couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful with planning our stay. He picked us up from the ferry after organising our tickets, then helped plan activities for our two night stay, organised drivers for each day to visit all the Nusa Penida highlights (we did not wish to rent scooters but this can be organised through the bungalow) and then took us back to the ferry on our last day. The pool was beautiful and the restaurant had great food. Will definitely be back.

La ubicación y el alojamiento fueron muy buenos, y en general tuvimos una estancia agradable. Sin embargo, sentimos que perdimos tiempo en lugares que no valían la pena debido a la falta de orientación adecuada por parte del personal. La impresión que tuvimos fue que el enfoque estaba más en vender sus propios tours que en ayudar a los huéspedes a planificar sus visitas y aprovechar mejor la isla. El primer día contratamos un tour recomendado por ellos y la experiencia no cumplió nuestras expectativas, ya que visitamos una playa por la tarde cuando prácticamente no había agua y no era posible bañarse. Nos hubiera gustado recibir más información sobre los mejores horarios para visitar cada lugar y aspectos importantes como las mareas, ya que esto nos habría permitido organizar mejor nuestro tiempo y evitar desplazamientos innecesarios. Además, cuando encontramos otros sitios que queríamos visitar y propusimos reemplazar algunos de los lugares incluidos en los tours que ellos ofrecían, no hubo mucha flexibilidad y cualquier cambio implicaba un costo adicional. Un mayor interés en adaptar la experiencia a las preferencias de los huéspedes y ofrecer recomendaciones realmente útiles marcaría una gran diferencia.

I am speechless… I just couldn’t believe the value that you get for your money here. If you think about booking this accomodation, don’t hesitate, it is beyond amazing! In the month that I travelled Indonesia, Bagia Bungalows was by far my favourite. Supreme location, supreme staff/service, supreme facilities. The easiest 10-star-rating.

Le petit déjeuner et les repas étaient très bons (mention spécial au mie goreng végétarien). La piscine est très appréciable tout comme la vue et l’aspect physique des bungalows. Les matelas sont très confortables et l’intérieur du logement est très beau. Le personnel est formidable (Putu et son collègue furent géniaux) et la réservation de taxi et excursions par l’hôtel est très pratique. Excellent séjour !

The whole team was great – very helpful and friendly. You can rent a scooter in good condition, and they can organize transport for you. We also had a chance to leave our luggage when we needed, which was very convenient. The place is beautifully located with an incredible view of the volcano and the jungle. A big thank you to Jordi and the whole team for the amazing help and great atmosphere!

If you are still searching - then look no further! Bahia Bungalows is the best hotel we’ve stayed in, it was incredible value for money. The free breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and had stunning scenery, the beds were very comfortable with gorgeous views from the balcony of the mountains, only a short ride to the Main Street (they offer bike rentals and tour groups and massage treatments too!) and on top of all of this: the staff were unbeatable. What I loved most was the staff turnaround. They clearly were well looked after, meaning bright and early or late at night: the staff were ALWAYS happy to help. Jodi was especially kind, and couldn’t have been more helpful when our bike ran into trouble and he drove 20 minutes to our rescue at a moments notice. THANK YOU!! The anniversary treat was very generous too! You won’t regret booking here!

Café da manhã deixou MUITO A DESEJAR , com apenas 01 opção para escolher. Meu marido saia com fome. Nunca tivemos nenhuma hospedagem em toda a nossa vida que fosse dessa maneira. Isso deixou muito a desejar, pois o café da manhã não poderia ser tão restrito assim, sem frutas, sem suco, sem iogurte. E a xícara de café vinha quase que pela metade. E se pedíssimos mais tinha que pagar. Foi decepcionante...

Bagia Bungalows is ons zeer goed bevallen. De accommodaties zijn zeer leuk en hygiënisch. Het zijn ook de kleine dingen die het hem doen: een waterkoker op de kamer met koffie- en theezakjes een minibar, een föhn, een welkomsdrankje (juice) een afscheidsdrankje (kokosnoot). De mensen die er werken kunnen alles voor je regelen voor een goede prijs. Ze zijn super vriendelijk. Kortom, echt een leuke accommodatie! Bedankt Bagia Bungalows! 😃

Dat is iets wat op heel Nusa Penida speelt: je hebt echt vervoer nodig om ergens te komen. Gelukkig was er wel een supermarkt in dd buurt en nog een ander leuk en lekker restaurant maar verder geen winkeltjes.

We had a wonderful stay; the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was clean, although slightly damp when it rained, but that wasn't solely due to the weather! The pool and grounds were lovely and well-maintained. Scooter rentals and excursions can be booked on-site. It's located 15 minutes from the west coast.

Un lieu tout simplement merveilleux, où l’on se sent accueilli comme à la maison dès les premiers instants. Mais ce qui rend ce séjour vraiment inoubliable, ce sont les propriétaires. D’une gentillesse profonde et sincère, toujours présents sans jamais être envahissants, ils ont créé une atmosphère de partage, de bienveillance et d’humanité rare. Chaque échange, chaque attention, chaque aide apportée a donné à notre séjour une saveur particulière, presque hors du temps. On repart le cœur léger, rempli de gratitude, avec l’impression d’avoir vécu bien plus qu’un simple séjour, une vraie rencontre. Un endroit précieux que l’on quitte à regret et que l’on recommande avec émotion.

Freundliches und teils zuvorkommendes Personal. Wenn gewünscht, können Roller (etwas teurer als am Hafen) problemlos direkt über das Hotel gemietet werden. Der Pool ist sauber Die Lage ist zentral. Beim nahe gelegene Restaurant „Red Pomelo“ kann man sehr gut essen. Das hoteleigene Restaurant haben wir nicht getestet.

Das gebuchte Frühstück war in Ordnung, jedoch lieblos angerichtet. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer ließ hinsichtlich der Wäsche leider zu wünschen übrig. Die Bettwäsche roch zwar frisch, darauf befanden sich jedoch diverse gelbliche Flecken. Die Handtücher waren bereits stark abgenutzt. Diese haben wir bereits am ersten Tag austauschen lassen. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber. Das warme Wasser der Dusche reichte lediglich für circa 8 Minuten. Das Wasser roch vor allem nach Regenschauern am Anfang stark nach Abwasser. Wir mussten das Personal auf drei abgelaufene Cola Zero Dosen in der Minibar hinweisen (teils seit 2024), welche jedoch sofort anstandslos ausgetauscht wurden.

La struttura è tranquillissima e in mezzo al verde. Il personale è gentilissimo e simpaticissimo, ci hanno fatti sentire a casa fin dal primo minuto. È possibile noleggiare scooter in loco.

Nos ha encantado todo! La habitación es preciosa y cuidan mucho los detalles. La cocina, espectacular, lo mejor que hemos comido. La piscina aunque no la llegamos a usar, se ve preciosa. Hicimos varios tour contratados con ellos y una maravilla, estan super bien organizados y los choferes muy majos y atentos. ¡¡VOLVEREMOS!!

Bagia Bungalows is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Bali. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was great, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and prepared safely, which I really appreciated as a European traveler. You can eat all meals on-site, and the fresh fruit juices are amazing. They also offer transfers, tours, and scooter rentals, making it easy to explore the island. Truly a 10/10 stay — highly recommended!

We loved everything about this hotel!! Beautiful bungalows in the heart of Nusa Penida, a stunning pool area, delicious traditional food. But mostly the most attentive and sweet staff we have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived they welcomed us with complimentary watermelon drinks, they helped us with planning and scheduling all of our activities and their drivers were the best tour guides (also will take great photos of you!!) They really made our trip so much more special, I was so sad to leave.

Notre séjour à Bagia a tout simplement été parfait, certainement le meilleur hôtel de notre trip en Indonésie ! Le staff était très agréable et serviable, toujours prêt à aider et rendre service aussi bien à l'hôtel que pour les excursions. Le cadre est idéal pour les personnes souhaitant être éloignées de la ville dans un cadre reposant. Le prix est plus qu'abordable pour une qualité de service très élevée. On peut manger sur place et la nourriture est très bonne en plus d'avoir un environnement (et une superbe piscine) toujours parfaitement entretenu. Je ne peux que recommander et reviendrai avec plaisir !
