Our bathroom shower drain was clogged the first day, they told us they will repair it for us in morning, when we go out, when we returned they told us they found out it cant be fixed quickly so they gave us 2 rooms instead of one family room we booked, both rooms were wonderful, one even had a kitchen in it, we were so thankful to both mama and papa for their kindness and guidance.

The public road to the hotel is a bit dark at night, but if you have the phone with you you can use the torch. Also when it rains there are big puddles on the same road.

You could not wish for better hosts than Papa Mas and Mama YatI, wonderful, friendly and with such a positive outlook. All the other staff were friendly and helpful also. Great location very close to beach and shops but in a quiet, peaceful setting. Breakfast was different every day and always very tasty. Great WiFi. The free airport transport was great, being greeted by a smiley face. I highly recommend staying here.

The location was superb to get around the island. 5 minutes walk to the beach. I loved the country vibe of the lodge. Mama Yeti and Papa Mas were super great hosts. And can I say, I love their breakfast buffet, always varieties of native dishes to try and I loved each one

洗衣跟租車都能同時完成，非常方便。而且來回都有機場接送。

第一晚的房間，抽屜上層是壞的，也沒有電視。反應後才換了一間有電視的房間。租民宿機車不必看國際駕照，但沒有手機支架，導航相當不方便，安全帽有點小，車子也沒有什麼油，幸好有找到加油站。一天50馬幣有點不划算。下次再來蘭卡威，寧可到大街上租車了。

We stayed only two nights and three days. It was extremely enjoyable. Mama Yati and Papa Mas are the kindest hosts and showed the utmost hospitality. Breakfast included a variety of choices, including buns, pastries, small egg tacos, toast, omelets, fruits, and salads. Very close to the beach, only 6-7 mins walking. This was the best part. We walked to the beach twice every day and swam. Free transfer from and to the airport was provided, which was a pleasant bonus. Overall, we had a great time there: beautiful surroundings, safe, and everything (restaurants, cafes, fast food, etc.) close by. Next time we will definitely go there again! Thank you, Mama Yati and Papa Mas!

Die Unterkunft liegt außerdem in einer guten Lage – sowohl der Cenang Beach als auch das Ortszentrum sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Wer eine gemütliche, familiäre Unterkunft sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt – wir kommen gerne wieder!

The breakfast was really good with delicious fruits alongside. Papa Mas and Mama Yati ensured we had everything we could ask for and gave us one of the best hospitalities that can be offered. The location was ideal with just a few minutes to the Pantai Cenang beach. They provide scooter rentals at their own place which is quite convenient. They also provided free transportation to and fro the Airport upon our arrival and departure. That was very sweet of them as well.

The rooms were very small. Later, I found out that private rooms were available, There was also no table where we could comfortably have lunch or dinner, which made it difficult for us as a family. The location is also quite far from the main road, making it hard for kids to walk back and forth to the beach or nearby restaurants. Overall, I would not recommend this place for families with children due to the small rooms and inconvenient location.

My wife and I stayed for one week. Would have liked to have stayed more, but it wasn’t in our time table. Mama Yati and Papa Mas are quite the hosts you want to see at every place you book. They picked us up and made sure we were settled. They picked up all their guests by the way, it’s their thing. They have stories to tell, but I won’t go into them. If they tell you it’s an added plus. The food for breakfast is great and varied day to day based on the people who are staying. We met people who were here for the first time and people who return year after year. People who stayed for a little get away and people who stay for extended period. Quite amazing. Mama and Papa will help you with your arrangements, book your excursions and places to eat. If you are of a mind they may even let you sample the places they go to eat for dinner. If offered, you should take advantage of it. They are unique, it may not be what you’re looking for,but maybe you should give them a try. You have nothing to lose and that may open up the possibilities that Langkawi has to give you. The best part is that their business model starts from the heart and ends with their heart.

From the point of booking to our final day, the communication and kindness from Mama Yeti and Papa Mas was beyond our expectations. They were so helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a villa which was fantastic. There was lots of variety at breakfast and the excursion we did via Papa Mas was the highlight of our stay! The location is a short walk to the beach!

Let me just start with this that this was one of the best stays in my entire lifetime. They are such lovely people Mama Yati and Papa Mas. We were picked up and dropped off from the airport with no charge. The breakfast was too good with local and international cuisines daily changing. Room was very nice and the place was so close to the beach. Papa Mas arranged the Mangrove tour for us which was again with an amazing team. I am literally coming back again with my entire family the next time.

Do not pay extra to booking application, like I did Mangrove tour organized by host, but hold by other persons. Soggiorno stupendo immersi nella loro cultura e usanze..all'arrivo in aereoporto ti vengono a prendere come omaggio di accoglienza..in serata ci hanno invitato a cenare gratuitamente ad una loro festa con musica e prodotti tipici.. L'alloggio era composto da due camere separate noi adulti e i ragazzi DiFianco con bagno annesso..pulito..la colazione non è internazionale ma è tipica.. c'è comunque the marmellate pane tostato frutta di ogni sorta..e i loro prodotti ..ogni mattina variava..la.posione è comoda sia per la spiaggia è vicinissima sia per i negozi bancherelle del centro paese..loro sono davvero cordiali..parlano inglese molto bene! A differenza nostra Ke invece cerchiamo di cavarcela...se volete vi organizzano delle gite..tipo quella alle mangrovie..in ogni caso l'ospitalità è quello che li rappresenta in questa struttura. Grazie ancora!!!

We had a family holiday with our 4 teenage children for 5 nights and could not have hoped for a better experience. The accommodation we had was very clean and comfortable and everything had been thought of. The communication through Wattsapp and the service from arrival at the airport to departure was exceptional. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the main street and the beach and transport options are available on site. We hired a car and toured the island. The breakfast offered is high quality and a great start to the day. I did a lot of research and considered many options and am so glad that we found and booked Langkawi Country Lodge. Langkawi is a special place and Papa Mas and Mama Yati take pride in generously sharing their local information and are brilliant hosts. We are grateful to have had such a special holiday and we hope we can go back to Langkawi Country Lodge again.

The property is conveniently located close to the beach and the airport, which made getting around very easy. The room was recently renovated, exceptionally clean, and quite spacious. Everything was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The highlight of my stay, however, was the hotel owners. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and gracious. Papa Yati personally picked me up from and dropped me off at the airport. And they kept checking up on me because I was traveling solo. I truly felt cared for. Lastly, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

It’s lovely and not situated by the road. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. A very beautiful, peaceful spot, even though the hotel was full of guests. The hosts were very welcoming; they met us at the airport free of charge and arranged a transfer.

Ondanks dat we enkel een overbruggingsnacht hadden geboekt omdat we een dag eerder naar Langkawi zijn gegaan was de service perfect. Super aardige mensen en goed geregelde shuttle service. Ze hebben ons zelfs naar de volgende accommodatie gebracht. Gratis kamer upgrade gekregen. Veel kamers zijn nieuw gebouwd. Ontbijt is heerlijk en de locatie is perfect, dichtbij het centrum. Ook de scooter hebben we bij hen kunnen boeken.

We stayed at Langkawi Country Lodge for four days, and while the facilities and amenities were excellent, what truly made our trip unforgettable were the incredible hosts, Mama Yati and Papa Mas, along with their wonderful family. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond. We were greeted at the airport and driven to the lodge free of charge, which was a fantastic start to our stay. The lodge itself had everything we needed, making it a comfortable and relaxing base for exploring Langkawi. Breakfast each morning was outstanding—one of the best pies I’ve ever had! Fresh omelettes were also available and made to order. Papa Mas also organised an island-hopping tour for us, which made the whole experience seamless and gave us confidence that we were getting a fair and trustworthy service. We even rented motorbikes directly from the lodge, making it easy to get around the island. Honestly, everything we needed was taken care of. The surrounding area was beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. I would highly recommend Langkawi Country Lodge to anyone visiting the island. If you’re deciding between staying here or at a standard hotel, choose the lodge—you’ll get a much more personal and memorable experience.

The host was absolutely wonderful, picking us up from the airport and accommodating our last-minute booking change without any hassle. The room was comfortable and clean with excellent water pressure. The location strikes the perfect balance: quiet and tucked away in a peaceful kampung, yet within walking distance of Main Street restaurants and shops. They even prepared a beautiful packed breakfast for us the morning of our early ferry.

I stayed six nights at Langkawi Country Lodge and, had I not already booked a non-refundable onward journey, I would happily have stayed much longer. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was far more than just accommodation — it was a warm and welcoming community where guests naturally came together to share excursions, dinners, sunset drinks and evenings watching the beach fire shows. Cenang beach is a few minutes walk on a narrow road past local houses and across the main ring road. I was fortunate enough to stay in two different rooms during my visit. The first was a peaceful new bungalow with a charming little white picket fence courtyard. Every detail reflected the incredible craftsmanship of owner Papa Mas. The handmade timber furnishings, woodwork and exceptionally comfortable bed were all cleverly created from local timber and showcased his carpentry skills. For my final three nights, I moved into the free-standing villa, where once again Papa Mas’ creativity and artistry were evident everywhere — from the unique bedhead to a handcrafted bedside lamp. The character and care put into every space made the stay feel truly special and authentic. Mama Yati and her attentive, caring staff went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt looked after. Each morning began with an huge buffet breakfast featuring an abundance of fresh tropical fruits and delicious local delicacies. The team were constantly on hand providing local advice, organising tours and scooter hire, and helping with absolutely anything guests might need. Under the expert guidance of Mama Yati, her family team kept both the guest rooms and communal areas sparkling clean. They have genuinely thought of everything a traveller could want, and if by chance something is missing, they are incredibly quick and happy to help. Langkawi Country Lodge offers not only beautiful accommodation, but also warmth, connection and a sense of belonging that is increasingly rare to find while travelling.

There nothing to dislike. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

I liked everything,the room was super clean,with everything you need.the breakfast was incredible,with a lot of variety of food and fresh fruit.the cafe area where they serve breakfast is lovely,with a lot of plants and flowers.Mama and her husband,the owners,are awesome friendly people that love their guests and really work hard. It was the best accomodation i had during my visit in Malesya!
