Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Ich hatte vier Übernachtungen gebucht und habe direkt drei Nächte verlängert. Gemütliches kleines Zimmer mit Heizung. Zimmer sehr sauber, sie werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Unterkunft liegt in einer Seitenstraße, daher ist es nachts sehr ruhig. 5 Minuten zur " Einkaufsstraße" entfernt. Jeder Touranbieter holt einen von der Unterkunft ab. Geschäfte mit Wasser, Obst, Brot direkt um die Ecke. Ich werde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, sollte ich zurück nach San Pedro kommen. Lieber Viktor, leider konnte ich mich nicht persönlich bei dir verabschieden, da der Shuttle Service zum Flughafen mich um 6 Uhr morgens abgeholt hat. Also mache ich das auf diesem Wege. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft, die vielen kleinen Reisetipps und deine Herzlichkeit. Ich habe mich bei dir und deiner Familie sehr willkommen gefühlt. Liebe Grüße Anke 👋🌻😊

Tem aquecedor, secador de cabelo e tudo mais. Quando tem passeio mais cedo ele deixa o café embalado para cada hóspede. Café da manhã é muito bom. Recomendo a todos

Reviewed May 31, 2026Das Zimmer sieht exakt so aus wie auf den Fotos. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Es ist super sauber! Es ist nicht besonders modern oder neu, teilweise sieht man Gebrauchsspuren, aber es ist alles sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich toll! Er hat uns mit offenen Armen empfangen, war immer nett, immer hilfsbereit und hat uns bei einem heftigen Erdbeben direkt beruhigt und sich hervorragend gekümmert. Vorbildlich! Das Frühstück macht er jeden Morgen selbst. Die Brötchen sind mega lecker! Und noch ein dickes Plus: es wird jeden Tag das Zimmer gereinigt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.
Obst/Avocado beim Frühstück wäre top, aber das wäre nur noch ein Extra. Es ist etwa 10 min zu Fuß von der Main-Street entfernt, wo alles stattfindet. Hat uns zB null gestört.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Cleanest place we've ever stayed, the rooms really were spotless. Victor and his staff/family are wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast is good with fresh scrambled eggs made there and then, and for any trips that depart before breakfast a goodie bag is provided. Showers were always hot.
Soundproofing is limited and we had a few problems with other guests making a lot of noise. There are notices up about quiet time and being considerate when closing doors so this isn't necessarily a fault of the hostel itself, although we would suggest adding some foam around door and window frames to try to improve weather and sound sealing, as the fit was loose in both rooms we stayed in (we extended our stay to a total of 6 nights in 2 rooms). That in itself would make a huge difference.

Café da manhã é bem enxuto, o quarto não tem ar condicionado e não tinha aquecimento (não sei se eu precisava solicitar). A garagem é na rua ao lado, mas consegui guardar a moto.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026This hostal was more than what we expected. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It has exactly what you need to spend your time in San Pedro de Atacama. We were picked up here by all the tour agencies. The host always made sure we had a snack to go or breakfast. They provide room service every day, which is a plus for me. We were even offered electric adapters since we didn’t have any. It was a great and unique experience!!!
It was a 15 minutes walk from the center, but nothing crazy bad at all.

The location is 15 20 min walk to the center. When it rains you can not go to a restaurant etc There was a sand strom one day and my room was full of sand, bed bathroom towels desks floor everywhere. Victor was helping me to charge the sheets etc Breakfast can be improved, no fruit, no avocado, no real coffee.

Sempre atencioso me ensinou a não ter medo de fazer passeios sem guia, indo com meu próprio veículo. Café da manhã excepcional, elaborado por ele mesmo. Quartos limpos diariamente.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026The host was always so warm and welcoming to speak with and made sure I had breakfast or a takeaway snack for my early morning tours! The room was tidy and cleaned every day and I just felt so taken care of at Illari that I would highly recommend this place, especially for the value.
My only drawback was that there was a big family staying in several rooms around mine who were very noisy at night and in the early mornings, and you can hear everything in the courtyard so it disrupted my sleep. But I believe this is nothing you can control and all of the Hostal’s in San Pedro can have this happen.

A limpeza do lugar é nota 1.000. O Hostal tb é bem localizado, perto de restaurantes e mercados locais com bom custo benefício.
