Reviewed May 29, 2026Big space, good for multiple people. Friendly and helpful staff who will help you organize tours. Breakfast is extra, but it is worth it (so much fruit!). Good and safe location.
Bathroom is quite small, and there are lots of ants around (though this is normal for Philippines due to the hot and humid climate)

La clim est un peu bruyante mais comme partout aux Philippines.

The AC is loud and the fan speed cannot be decreased so it’s always strong, but that wasn’t super disturbing.

The room was clean and had aircon (not silent but it’s good) Would stay again

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Mi è piaciuta la posizione e la qualità-prezzo della struttura. Punti in più per il signor Gomez e il suo staff che è proprio gentile e disponibile. Il fatto che si possa prenotare il motorino direttamente in struttura è un plus (e consiglio di farlo prima contattando la struttura perché noi non ne abbiamo trovati di disponibili). La posizione è ottima. La colazione ti riempie ed è genuina.
Il ragazzo da cui abbiamo affittato i motorini, che era esterno alla struttura e che ci hanno consigliato alla Guesthouse, ci ha dato un resto sbagliato apposta e insisteva sul voler farci pagare più soldi per dei danni che non avevamo fatto noi (menomale avevamo fatto i video molto bene). Fate attenzione e se riuscite fateveli prenotare all'interno e perciò con la struttura o cercate autonomamente.

If you are sensible about rumours bring your earplugs always with you, cause rooster and bird sing here in Philippines jajajajajajaja. Pour un hébergement d'une ou 2 nuits c'est parfait . Petit bémol comme souvent aux philippines il n'y a pas de pression pour la douche 🤭.

Leider waren im Zimmer eine Menge Ameisen (wir hatten keinerlei Essen oder Ähnliches auf dem Zimmer). Vielleicht von unserem Vermieter aber die sind bei uns dann überall rumgekrabbelt

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Das Zimmer lag zwar im Souterrain, ohne Fenster, aber dafür schön kühl und ausserordendlich sauber und sehr günstig. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Ausserdem haben sie weitere Zimmer oben. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich in allen Dingen. Alan Gomes ist Künstler und seine interessanten Werke sind dekorativ im ganzen Haus angebracht.

The place is very nice, perfectly clean, and located in a pleasant and quiet area, which made it ideal for relaxing after busy travel days. There was always water available, the air conditioning worked perfectly (which we truly appreciated in the Philippine heat!), and everything was very well maintained. The breakfast was honestly the best we had in the Philippines – fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. What made our stay truly exceptional was the incredibly helpful owner. He went above and beyond to assist us, even helping us resolve a stressful situation with a motorbike rental company that was unavailable when we returned the motorbike and could not provide the necessary document. His support made a huge difference and we are extremely grateful. We highly recommend Gomez Guesthouse to anyone visiting Tagbilaran. You will feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et le petit déjeuner proposé pour 200 pesos est très bon et copieux, excellent rapport qualité prix !! Merci ! La chambre et la salle de bain sont propres, aucun soucis. La climatisation fonctionne bien. L'emplacement est proche du port (10min en tuktuk) et à distance raisonnable de Panglao (30min en tuktuk), dans un quartier calme avec quelques bons restaurants et commerce à proximité, que vous pouvez rejoindre à pieds.
La chambre est en sous sol donc aucun accès sur l'extérieur, ce qui aurait pu être précisé sur l'annonce. Il n'y a donc aucun moyen d'aérer un peu ou d'avoir beaucoup de lumière naturelle (il y a un petit puit de lumière dans le couloir). Mais vu le prix du logement, le rapport qualité/prix est très bien !

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Super praktische Unterkunft für einen Boxenstopp, um auf die Insel zu kommen. Wir haben direkt am nächsten morgens ein Auto von Herrn Gomez gemietet für 10 Tage. Günstig und glücklicherweise kein Neuwagen, genau danach haben wir gesucht. Völlig problemlose Abwicklung, am Ende hat Herr Gomez uns sogar noch zum Hafen gefahren und wertvolle Tipps mit auf den Weg gegeben. Sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit erfahrenem Gastgeber. Absolute Empfehlung.

Durante toda la noche es escuchaba como el ruido de alguna maquina, que molestaba un poco.
