Betten etwas kurz (man kommt unten mit den Füssen am Rahmen an), Kissen unbequem (zu weich)

Ich habe es gut gefunden, dass man Kaffee haben konnte und man im Kühlschrank ein Fach hatte um Esswaren hinein zu stellen. Dann habe ich das Ehepaar als sehr freundlich empfunden. Auch wie man zum Zimmerschlüssel kommt und ihn nachher wieder abgeben konnte, unkompliziert.

Ich kann nichts negatives sagen.

Ich mache seit Jahren gerne gelegentliche Tageswanderungen auf die Churfirsten. Bisher bin ich dann jeweils früh morgens mit dem Auto angereist. Ende Mai '26 bin ich mal abends mit dem Zug angereist, habe im Landhaus an der Thur übernachtet und bin am nächsten Morgen bei Sonnenaufgang losgewandert. Ich habe das nun das dritte Mal seither gemacht und immer in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet. Das hat sich bewährt, nicht zuletzt wegen der gemütlichen Unterkunft und der herzlichen Gastfreundlichkeit. Werde das in Zukunft wohl noch öfter so machen, wenn grad ein Zimmer frei ist im Landhaus an der Thur. PS: Nach meinem ersten Kommentar im Mai '26 betreffend Kissen habe ich diesmal eine grosse Auswahl an verschiedenen Kissen erhalten. Und diesmal habe ich auch ein ganz bequemes gefunden - vielen Dank für diesen super Extra-Service!

Da fällt mir nichts ein.

Sehr großzügig und extrem sauber. Kaffeezimmer mit Sitzgelegenheit und Kühlschrank. Sehr netter Empfang , unkompliziert. 2 min zum Bus, Restaurant,Kirche und Einkaufen.

Bad und Teppich sind nicht mehr so zeitgemäss- aber alles tipptopp sauber .

Ruhige Lage im Dorf, nahe bei der Bushaltestelle. Gemütliches Zimmer mit grosszügigem Balkon mit Aussicht auf den Kirchenplatz und ins Tal. Ich blieb nur eine Nacht und bin vor Sonnenaufgang aufgebrochen zu einer Wanderung. Kann mir aber auch einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft als ganz gemütlich vorstellen.

Nur das Kissen hat mir nicht so gepasst. Ich bevorzuge halt kleine, feste Kissen. Die sind halt äusserst selten in Unterkünften.

Alles top, es gab ein kleines Zimmer, wo man essen durfte und seine Sachen im Kühlschrank versorgen konnte. Kaffeemaschine durfte man kostenlos benutzen, danke sehr grosszügig. Wir haben ganz kurzfristig gebucht, sofort Antwort erhalten und der Schlüssel war vor Ort. Unkompliziert, wir kommen wieder, wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind.

Perfekter Service.

Wir wurden total nett vom Gastgeber empfangen. Es wurde uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Zimmer war perfekt für 3 Personen. Super ausgestattet und sauber. Was wirklich mega toll war, es gibt eine Tee und Kaffee Stube inklusive Kühlschrank. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht hier. Aber wir werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Wir können das Landhaus an der Thur nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Die Lage direkt am Bach fand ich super. Die Thur hat mich in den Schlaf gewogen. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Schlüssel lag bereit und mit einer kurzen Info wusste ich wo ich das Zimmer finden werde. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen und wenn ich die Churfirsten Kaiserroute nochmals mache, werde ich diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

The hosts were super friendly and knew a lot about the area (e.g. where to eat, shops). The room was huge with a balcony and very clean. One of the best guesthouses we've ever been to!

The place was very comfortable, and the location is excellent, just 100 meters from the bus stop. The cleanliness and organization were impeccable, and it was also very peaceful. Anna and Walter were incredibly warm and friendly from the start. I definitely recommend it and would stay here again without hesitation.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Came to stay one night for an early start ski touring. The room is well maintained, warm and functional. Comfortable bed, good shower. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but there is a common fridge where one can deposit their things (there is a numbered box per room inside the fridge) and free hot coffee and tea in the morning.

Friendly and very helpful owners. No breakfast included but there was a kitchen/dining area with free tea/coffee and a supermarket with croissants etc, 50 m away, so do-it-yourself breakfast easily arranged! Very comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom. Also a secure garage for parking touring bicycles.

We were very enjoyed the stay with beautiful mountain view. Very clean and comfortable. The room is on the 3rd floor with a private washroom. The kitchen with a fridge on the 2nd floor is very convenient. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Provided a great tourist attention nearby.

It was the kind of place where they know your name before you introduce yourself. So friendly! It was possible to eat next door in the Schafli and the people were also lovely. Great location in this beautiful village and I was very grateful for the balcony (thank you for the upgrade) and lounge with coffee and fridge.

Very nice and friendly owners; the hotel is reasonably priced and located within a walking or short driving distance from the ski lifts (depending on whether you're skiing in Alt St. Johan or Wildhaus). There's no breakfast option in this hotel, but there's a supermarket close by and a little kitchen where you can make coffee/tea and eat your own breakfast. The beds are comfortable and rooms spacious (our double room was at least).

Nothing. Good value for money and everything up to the expectations or even above.
