Clean, tidy, great location, lovely hosts.

Easy last minute booking for my whanau who travelled from Palmerston North during National secondary schools Kapahaka Competition.

It was a last minute booking. I could park my car down the driveway.

It was basically a sleep out. Could hear the owners next door as there was a connecting door. It was very basic and outdated. The bathroom facilities were not that clean. Didn’t see the owners at all.

Lovely hosts and wonderful studio. Very comfortable and quiet. So close to everywhere. I would definitely stay again.

Had everything we needed. Was in the perfect location. The owners were so nice and helpful and kind. We came to New Zealand on holiday from England and decided to stay here just for one night but we have already decided we would go back again and stay for longer as it was exceptional!

Wonderful Hosts, quiet location and had everything you needed,. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to all facilities.

It was clean and staff were friendly Had a power cut at 8.15am had just boiled the jug thank goodness. Finished shower in the dark haha. Wasn’t anyone’s fault.

Lovely comfortable bed. Marvelous shower good pressure. Extremely clean and the little kitchen very well equipped. Location is good but without sat nav it would have been difficult to find.

The location - short walk in one direction to the beach, short walk the other way to shopping, coffee shops etc. very quiet and roomy. Felt so at home in a residential street. Obliging hosts, well stocked kitchen etc.

Great value for a room and about a 12 min walk to beach where there were life guards. Parking was outside the room and room was well equipped. Was quiet with no noise. Owner was pleasant and did not disturb. Would stay again

Unit was originally a garage so room at night was hot and stuffy and had an awkward fan that didn't do much cooling. Place really needs a small air conditioner as we didn't sleep well and opened windows and then had mozzies. Hopefully owners install an air conditioner. A bit of a walk into town so we drove.

I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room. And the host was very friendly on my arrival. It was a very comfortable stay and I would certainly go there the next time. It was close to the beach and close to any amenities that one wanted to purchase. Great location, friendly people, and a very comfortable room.

Friendly hosts, quiet, clean and convenient. The hosts went out of their way for me to have off-road parking. Parking is at a premium in this area. Easy walk to the beach.

The location is on a back section with a little of Mauao peak viewable, the main view is of the fence and neighbouring houses. That was fine for me as I wanted a quiet, restful place, but may not be what others need.

Just a studio room with the basic facilities which we expected. Comfortable and perfect location to walk to beach.

We had stayed previously and thought this time the level of cleanliness was not up to a standard you would expect.

The room was spacious, the kitchen good, the bathroom good. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable.

Great little place , walking distance to beach, town and the Mount. Lovely friendly hosts, has everything you need for a short stay. Clean, comfortable and sunny.

I've scored 9/10 because this little studio is almost perfect, even down to providing fresh milk and proper coffee.

We visited on a very hot day and spent a very hot night. We used the fan provided, but it made little difference. Air con is a big ask, I know, but it was needed then!

Room was a little hot at night

Warmly welcomed by host Suzanne on arrival. Lovely room and decor, with small kitchen and bathroom, spotless. Wardrobe to hang and put stuff away. Private and quiet. Nice, safe neighbourhood. A few mins stroll to the beach right where there’s surf lifeguards and swimming between the flags and a popular cafe. Highly recommend.

The location was close to town but far enough away so it was nice and quiet. The room is warm and comfortable and had everything we required.

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet but walking distance to Mt Maunganui shops and beach, etc, and handy to public transport. I was there for an event at Blake Park and didn’t use my car.

The location was perfect. We had a warm welcome from Suzanne on arrival . We had to change our arrangement on short notice, Suzanne went out of her way to accommodate us and, without any hesitation, catered for our needs. Everything was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The cupboard to hang our clothes was a great to have. On on-site parking was convenient

A small stove would have been nice. Just for the small things like frying an egg or whipping up a one pot meal.

This was a cute little room. Very tidy and clean. Everything was good.

It was warn, future has seen better times. needs a refreshments, photos are old, stains on the duve. Shower has a patch in the floor you stand on it and it sinks not a good feeling.Noise from neighbors.

Nice and close to Mount Maunganui and Tauranga. Lovely host. Very easy check in and out. Parking off street in driveway. Suburban environment. Excellent bed and very comfortable room. A diversion in our trip ended up being a highlight. Recommended!

Getting out of the driveway was a little awkward. Best reverse! Payment by bank transfer is a little tricky for international visitors (and less experienced ones like us!).

Comfortable bed with private bathroom. Kitchen was a bonus. Off street parking and a short walk to the Marine Parade walkway taking you to the Mount.

We enjoyed our stay , the area was great especially with the cafe Mixture just a short walk away from house.
