Good location. Have enough space.

The location was great for sure, check in and checkout was also easy, the owner also reacted fast to the issues we had when we arrived. Although it was to many issues she gave us a local cheese to apologize, what was very kind.

When we arrived the bottom floor of the house was dirty, not vacuumed and not moped at all. During our stay we should not bear our foot on the floor directly. The trash cans in bathrooms had no bags. The Gril was also very dirty and we needed to clean ourselves, no grill accessories, and when she gave us the accessories it was also dirty, the grill had no gas, no baking paper to use the oven as well. The frying pan needed to be exchanged ASAP, as it has the film destroyed and it may spread chemical in food when heated. Confy mattress but very noisy beds. At this cost and 9.2 score we didn't expect to have all of this issues.

Great accommodation at Matten bei Interlaken. It’s located at the quiet side of Interlaken, can be arrived by local bus. Easy access to attractions at Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Jungfraujoch. The house is very well equipped with full kitchen appliances, laundry. They have a room for children to play. My kids absolutely love it. The owner was very kind to let us store our luggage at the property before and after our stay. This was super helpful for us. The surrounding view of the house was beautiful. We could see loads of stars at night.

Ми чудово провели час у цьому будиночку! Дуже затишне, чисте та комфортне місце, де продумано все до дрібниць для приємного відпочинку. Атмосфера спокою і гармонії, ідеально підходить, щоб відволіктися від буденності. Особливо сподобалася тиша навколо, гарна природа та можливість повністю розслабитися. У будинку є все необхідне для проживання, відчували себе як вдома. Щиро дякуємо господарям за гостинність і турботу! Обов’язково повернемося ще раз і з радістю рекомендуємо це місце іншим ❤️

No washroom amenities like shampoo soap were provided (maybe it’s common norm in Switzerland)

The location and cleanliness were the only two facilities we enjoyed during our stay. Washer and tumble dryer proved useful.

We were on a long trip and stayed in many apartments in the past few weeks and unfortunately Mayer’s Swiss house proved to be most uncomfortable one. All the bed rooms are on the upper floor or in the basement. It’s a nuisance carrying all luggage through narrow stairs especially if you have been in a long trip. Another challenge is in case you are travelling with elderly parents, they may face huge issues. They have only one bathroom, the other one is just a toilet with wash basin. Not good for six adults. I would request the owner to update the description in their listing so that travellers can make an informed decision while booking the accommodation. It may not be a problem for some, but we did face huge inconvenience during the entire stay. Also the lighting in the living area was poor. Mattresses were springy and uncomfortable. Overall, not a comfortable stay for us.

Excellent location, everything we needed was provided, host was communicative and welcoming

Located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood, with restaurants 10-15 minutes away by foot and the Oberland shopping centre nearby. The host Fabrienne was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive, plus they live just next door. The kids enjoyed a quick dip in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, induction stove, hot water boiler, dishwasher and others. The washing machine and dryer worked very well for us. Ample parking space for the Volkswagen Caravelle I drove. Great starting location to go on day trips in the Interlaken region! We would love to stay here again.

Great location in Interlaken town. Good connectivity to highway for road trips. Clean rooms. Very spacious house with garden. Beautiful views. Children's bunk bed room downstairs.

1.5 bathrooms. Ground floor has only toilet and no shower. First floor bathroom has toilet and bathtub with shower.

The house provided the essentials—kitchen, bathroom, beds and a nice garden!

The stay was fine overall, but a warmer welcome would have made a big difference—especially considering the host lives nearby. A small gesture like a hello or having basic supplies like dishwasher tablets available would have gone a long way. A costly stay with minimal return!

Great Location, calm area, 2 mins distance to bus stand, grocery store. View of the mountains from balcony was wonderful. To reach the place, most efficient way is to get the Bus No. 105 from Interlaken West station & drop at Matten b. I. Gsteigstrasse, it is a 1 min walk or you may take Bus No. 104 from Interlaken OST station & drop at Matten b. I., Mattenstrasse then 1 min walk (follow the google map). Very comfortable beds and maximum 6 people can accommodate comfortably. The only problem is that it have only 1 bathing area (with WC) & 1 separate WC which is a bit issue (those who preferred bathing in the morning). However all other amenities are exceptionally good. You get a full fledged kitchen. Our stay was WONDERFUL!!!

Perfect location with mountain view, very friendly and cordial owners. House has all amenities and special kids playing room. Must recommended to stay for anyone travelling Interlaken.

Second bedroom is too small.

The location is perfect, nice and clean house, and there is room equipped with kids toys. Also, has garden to set and there is barbecue table. Moreover, the owner Fabienne is very nice and very helpful. She provided everything that we need.

It was fantastic stay. We had an amazing time. The property was just one station far from Interlaken and surrounding was very beautiful and scenic. The owner are very helpful and friendly. I'll recommend it to other people for sure.

The host was very nice to us.Apartment were big and got a small pool outside unfortunately we haven’t had the time to used it. Will definitely stay there again.

The host was very warm and welcoming. We arrived early to the city but she supported us by storing the luggage and gave us guest cards for public transport. The garden of the house is beautiful and equipped with a pool. It was such a nice feeling to stay in this house.

There were a few things that made our stay uncomfortable. The mattresses in the room with 3 single beds were very uncomfortable. No lock in the washroom on the ground floor. No toiletries in any washroom. Cutleries were not complete in kitchen

The house is huge for a family. It is in a residential area which is quiet and a great view from the garden. Public transport using 104 & 105 bus numbers allows you to connect with anywhere in Interlaken. Special mention to the owners who helped us immensely during our stay

Great location, we were able to comfortably tour Interlaken, Grindewald and Lauterbrunnen as there was a bus that led us directly to the terminal stations. There were many beds in the house so that everyone could sleep comfortably. The host was extremely helpful and offered to help us store our luggages on our last day there while we continued to tour around Interlaken.

Description mentioned that there would be 2 toilets- but it is actually a 1.5

Great apartment and fantastic owner. Very helpful and very cosy. Helped with the heater after it was cold on the first night.

The beds were ok but a little on the small side. Pillows were also a little small. Other than that it was very nice and well equipped.

It was perfect! The apartment is huge and had more than enough space for 5 of us! It’s very clean and the facilities are all working in good condition. Please please chill outdoors at night, the views are beautiful and the night skies are amazing!! The hosts are really sweet and friendly, overall the best experience staying in an apartment throughout the trip!

Not much of dislikes but things to take note of if you’re booking in summer, it can get a little bit warm especially for rooms with no fans! There’s a bit of bugs as well but that’s interlaken for you!

Beautiful home on front of the mountains. Comfortable and clean. My boys enjoyed the backyard. Can be a good base for Interlaken.
