Ferienhaus am Park vs Similar Hotels

Comfortable beds and generally satisfactory rooms, but several reports of worn/through mattresses (kuhle), only bathtubs without showers in some rooms and French balconies rather than full balconies.

Mostly reported as clean and tidy in many reviews, though some guests noted rooms could be cleaner, sagging mattresses and one mention of a beetle in the bathroom.

Frequently praised: quiet setting, close to motorway and shopping, good starting point for cycling and convenient parking.

Consistently described as very friendly and helpful staff; multiple guests praised the personnel and service during stays.

Breakfast repeatedly described as excellent and plentiful; restaurant generally good with fair prices though a few guests found it only mediocre or noted it was closed on Sundays.

Good breakfast buffet, parking, bike cellar with battery charging, fridge in room and EV charging available; downsides include no air conditioning, an old lift and no in-room kettle in some cases.

Mixed: many guests found food and accommodation reasonably priced, but some felt single-room rates were high and lack of AC during heatwave reduced perceived value.
