Le chalet est très joli, calme, spacieux, très confortable et extrêmement bien aménagé. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Simon, l’hôte, répond dans la minute aux messages et fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances. Un grand merci! C’est un endroit que je recommanderai sans hésiter.

Erinomainen sijainti. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava meille ja se oli perus siisti mökki. Hyvä tila suksien huoltoa varten. Hyvä pieni sauna. Ainut miinus oli mökin hieman puutteellinen ilmanvaihto. Teimme ruokaa muutaman kerran viikon aikana, niin ruuan käry tarttui vaatteisiin.

Majoittaja oli erittäin avulias ja joustava, sekä vastasi nopeasti yhteydenottoihin. Majapaikka oli siisti, ja sijainti erinomainen sekä hiihtolatujen, kyläkeskuksen että kulkuyhteyksien osalta. Auton sai pysäköityä suoraan oven eteen. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava varustus lapsiperheen urheilulliseen lomanviettoon. Sopivasti tilaa neljälle hengelle, mutta useammalla majoittujalla tulisi jo ahdasta vaikka vuodesohvalle voisi joku ylimääräinen nukkumaan mahtuakin. Lämmitetty voitelutila suksihuoltoa varten ja pyykinpesumahdollisuus myös todella hyödyllinen lisä.

Sauna on pieni, mutta riittävä.

Sijainti, sauna ja takka

Vaatteiden kuivauskaappi voisi nykyaikaisempi, keittiö on todella pieni, ilman vaihto on kehno ja suksihuolto tilassa ilmanvaihto on erityisen kehno. Ei huomattu sähköauton latauspaikkaa, mutta oltiinkin itse liikkeellä polttomoottori autolla.

Etwas zu nah an der Straße-allerdings ist diese nicht zu stark befahren.

- bequeme Betten, gute Ausstattung - sauber, gemütlich, angenehm warm, ruhig und doch recht zentral - ca. 10min zu Fuss zum grossen Supermarket. Die ersten Restaurants sind in 5min zu erreichen. - sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber (hat immer umgehend auf unsere Anliegen reagiert und gab sogar Tipp für Nordlichter)

- Wir hatten die Unterkunft, welche am nächsten an der Strasse war. Der Lärm war zwar kein Problem, die Lage hätte aber idyllischer sein können. - Eingangstür klemmt oft

Rent och snyggt. Uppskattade att rökning och husdjur var förbjudna. Bra stuga för två personer.

Flera knaggar kunde ha funnits i badrummet. Saknade frysfack i kylskåpet eller annan frys möjlighet.

We had the best time one could imagine on our cross-country skiing holiday. The cabin is perfectly located - XC ski tracks, shops, and restaurants are literally within walking distance, so you don’t even need a car to move around. The beds are very comfortable, the fireplace is absolutely amazing - creates the coziest atmosphere after a long day on the ski trails, and the sauna is simply perfect for relaxing, warming up, and ending the day in the best possible way. A big plus for skiers is the separate ski waxing room, which makes preparing skis very easy. This room also has a shared washing machine. The kitchen is very well equipped - it has everything you might need and even more. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They were very helpful and gave us many great tips, which made our stay even better. A fantastic place for anyone planning a cross-country skiing holiday. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans ce lodge cosy et au calme. Tout est bien dimensionné pour 4 personnes. Tous les équipements fonctionnent bien. C’est une adresse que nous recommanderons à nos amis.

Sincèrement rien. Si il faut trouver quelque chose à améliorer je dirais la serrure de la porte d’entrée qui coince un peu mais c’est un détail.

Top ligging vlakbij Akaslompolo

Zeer proper, vriendelijke gastheer.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Uitstekende locatie dichtbij de halte van de bussen en airport transfer. Gezellig en net huisje waar alles aanwezig is voor een aangenaam verblijf. De vloerverwarming in de hal en badkamer zijn heel leuk. Lekker warm in het huisje, zelfs bij -36 graden buiten ! Heel stil. De sauna is een plus !

Neem steeds je sleutels mee naar buiten want de deur valt in het slot. We hebben onszelf 1x buiten gesloten, gelukkig kwam de eigenaar binnen de 5 minuten om ons te helpen.

Tout était parfait, le chalet au milieu des bois est un enchantement, à pieds de tous les commerces restau bar et agence de safaris, Simon répond très rapidement et se déplace au besoin, très sympa, la literie est confortable, nous avons adoré <3

Tolle versteckte Lage im Wald und doch zentral zwischen Ort und Skigebiet.

Es wäre noch schöner gewesen wenn in einem der Zimmer ein Doppelbett statt zwei Einzelbetten gewesen wäre.

La cabaña es una maravilla, muy acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia. Simon ha sido muy atento, dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento haciendo de la estancia una experiencia inolvidable. Gracias Simon.

Alles, es war perfekt! Sauber, gemütlich, tolle Lage, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und vor allem bei-30 Grad ein warmer, ruhiger Rückzugsort. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!

Ein Föhn wäre praktisch. Wir hatten aber einen dabei, war also nicht weiter schlimm...

We had an absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was spotless, very cosy, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt at home right away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung. Netter Kontakt zum Gastgeber. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Unterkunft. Auch bei -25 °C war die Wohnung warm.

The cabin was very cozy and great for a family of three. Great location close to everything. No complaints whatsoever!

Did not have a drying cabinet for clothes, but the bathroom floor was very warm and we could dry the skiboots there.

The cottage was very well equipped, it had everything you could possibly need. Even came stocked with toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and hand soap. It was toasty and warm inside the cottage, the drying room was excellent for hanging damp hats and gloves in. Beautiful location. Honestly a perfect and beautiful place to stay. The owner was so helpful and accommodating the whole time and answered all my questions in the lead up to our trip.

I don't have a bad word to say about the cottages. At all.

We’ve had an amazing week in Simon’s cottage! The location and the cottage were perfect. Simon always replies very quick and is happy to help out with everything. The sauna is amazing after a cold day in the snow. I can’t wait to go back some day!

We loved the lodges and there surroundings, it was so magical and peaceful, The log burner and sauna was a huge hit with my family, Simon the host was very helpful and replied to all my messages straight away. We were so sad to leave, it really is the most beautiful, relaxing place on earth.

The cabin exceeded our expectations, we felt very comfortable, warm and cosy (even with -25 outside). It is fully equipped with everything you need, we haven't missed anything in the kitchen. It is also exceptionally clean and well maintained. Location was perfect, with privacy of being nestled in the forest, but within a short walk from village center and all the amenities and facilities. We didn't want to leave.

cosy cabin, quiet environment

We had a great week with lots of snow and sun at the cottage. Simon was very helpful, gave tips and always responded very quickly to messages. The cottage is unique. Spacious and very well equipped. And always cosy and warm at -27 degrees. The small sauna was wonderful. The connection to the Y1 ski centre is great and there are also cross-country ski trails nearby. The supermarket in Äkäslompolo is very well stocked and has everything you need. We can highly recommend the cottage.

Nothing - Everything was perfect!

Absolutely everything. We had a lovely time in Äkäslompolo, and staying in Tunturioravat made our stay so much better. It's a lovely cabin, perfectly located, very close to restaurants, coffe places, supermarket, walking/skiing trails, and at the same time you get a nice feeling of being in the middle of nature. The cabin has everything necessary for a great stay. We were lucky enough to spot some amazing, clear, northern lights right outside our cabin. Last but certainly not least, Simon is such a great host, always quickly to respond to texts, super kind, and he went further and beyond to accommodate our requests. We will most definetely return to Äkäslompolo, and there's no question we'll be staying here again. Again, thank you so much for everything!

Honestly, for us, it couldn't have been any better.

Perfect location, close to center of Äkäslompolo with supermarket, restaurants and safari companies. Very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed sauna and chimney fire. Any question was answered immediately without delay.

Simon is a great friendly person .. we appreciated his dedication by coming to us in the middle of night to inform us of the aurora borealis .. he is very kind and gave information of routes where we could walk easily . we thank him very much and he is a friend .. we will definitely visit him again ... the cottage is very romantic and we enjoyed our stay.. we recommend it to all who love to live by woods ....

It was absolutely amazing. Even better than we could imagine. Host, cottage, location are the best. We had the most magical time in Äkäslompolo. Thanks Simon for everything. We hope to visit there again soon. A big K Market supermarket, together with other shops, restaurants, lakes, forest trails just 5 min walking, Yllas ski resort 5 min drive, the cottage is so clean, warm, well equipped, cozy. We loved sauna and chimney. I highly recommend it. The owners are so friendly and nice. We had a really great experience.

Nothing to complain about

It was very clean and comfortable. It even looked nicer in reality than in pictures. Very cozy atmosphere. Sauna was great. Good location need the skiing tracks.
