Location annoncée avec wc et salle de bains privative, mais il n'est pas précisé que le WC sec est à une trentaine de mètres à l'extérieur et que la salle de bain est en fait un sauna situé encore plus loin avec eau chaude à faire chauffer soi meme au feu de bois...

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Sijainti oli erinomainen hiljaisuudesta ja Lapin maisemista nauttimiseen. Patikointi kansallispuiston merkityillä reiteillä helppoa ja aivan vieressä. Soutuveneen käyttömahdollisuus erinomaista kalastusta ajatellen.
Veneretken hinta per henkilö vaikutti hintavalta ja jäi siksi tekemättä.

Místní název konkrétní chaty (Huonestolopa) neodpovídá názvu chaty uvedenému na stránkách Booking.com (Chalet A), Při objednávce tak není zcela zřejmé, jaký je interier objednávané chaty.

Sängyn patjat hyvin olemattomat ja selkä kipeytyi niistä.Olin arvostelujen perusteella vielä varmistanut patjojen tilanteen niin minulle sanottiin että hyvät on.Levitettävä sänky narisi käännyttäessä.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Everything. This standalone property is governed by a Sami family. It is located just by the road and the near the Lemmenjoki river. The place is in “wilderness” but provides utmost luxury. Sauna, patio, super well equipped kitchen, fireplace, snow shoes, spacious living room - I loved it. On top of it owner is super friendly and helpful - at checkin she personally showed us all the necessary required details for the property. Bonus - it possible to buy reindeer meat from the farm. There is also a very good local restaurant with in 500 - 600 m serving delicious local food. All the walking trails are located nearby. Saw northern lights. Wish to return again.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Cabana fantàstica (B, Tieva). Lloc immillorable. Amb barca pròpia per fer un passeig pel riu. Sauna. Cuineta. Llitera i llit-niu. Finestra gran amb vistes al riu. Amb foc a terra (barbacoa) a uns pocs metres de la cabana. Molt a prop del punt de sortida d'excursions del parc nacional.
Res, tot bé. Info útil per estrangers: si es ve de Akaslompolo (Parc Nacional Ylläs) passeu pel supermercat, ja que no hi ha res en tot el trajecte i a Lemmenjoki tampoc, cal anar a 50km (Inari).

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025Absolutely superb accommodation! A small cottage with everything you need, hidden in an Arctic forest by a lake (with a rowboat at your disposal). You can spend days here without meeting anyone, completely immersed in the beautiful landscape. And above all, an amazing sauna! My philosophy is that life is too short to return to the same places, but this is one of the few I’d gladly come back to again – and my whole family agrees. 😊

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025Die Lage des Hauses, im Wald und nahe am See, ist wunderbar. Wie konnten jeden Abend Feuer machen an der eigenen Feuerstelle und baden im Lemmenioki. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben Empfehlungen und Auskünfte zu Aktivitäten erhalten. Auch über die lokale Kultur wurden wir bestens informiert. Für Wanderungen im Nationalpark ist das Haus optimal gelegen. Ebenso für Bootstransfer auf dem Lemmenioki. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!
Die Trockentoilette ist gewöhnunsbedürftig. Es ist absolut verständlich und unterstützenswert, dass es die ökologisch beste Lösung ist, man muss es einfach wissen. Für diese Unterkunft ist ein Auto unverzichtbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut eine Stunde entfernt. Das ist ebenfalls kein Problem, aber man muss auch dies wissen.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2024Fantastic experience of staying in a countryside log house. The roads in nearby are beautiful in winter. The cabin is very warm, comfortable and cosy cabin in winter. Nice place in winter. We have heard nice things about stays in summer too. Good pressure for shower and a nice sauna. Nice and welcoming host.

Also I really have to say that the cabin is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. Large kitchen, high ceiling (so air indoors is good), washing machines etc. I don't think there are better places available so close to Lemmenjoki. Really liked it in here.
The other bedroom is really small, but it worked fine for us. Large living room compensated nicely.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2024The property is just stunning, lovely modern deco and so practical too, has everything you could possibly need. The location by the river is second to none, so quiet with amazing views. Travelled as a family 2+2, the kids had plenty of space in the house to play, but mostly spent their time outdoors exploring the area. The host is so nice. Let us see her reindeers as well as told us a lot about the area, Sami way of life, and her beautiful artwork. We would love to come back in summer to see the nature reserve in a different season.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2023Stayed in “superior chalet”. an outstanding (felt like brand new) well appointed spacious cabin. excellent views overlooking a burbling stream and by itself, on a different location to other chalets. 1.5km from Paltto. Received a warm welcome and escort to the property. No wifi but a strong 4g signal so no problems if have data on a device. appreciated the art on the walls.
two bunk beds are in a very small room - didn’t affect us as stayed in main bedroom.
