Great location four the town and surrounding area. Very cosy and had all the facilities of home.

Stairs were a little steep for my 88yr old mother but she managed them with care.

Locatie was prima. Bovenverdieping ( slaapkamer en badkamer) waren heel goed en maakten in tegenstelling tot benedenverdieping een frisse indruk. Beneden badkamer was wel prima. Fijne buitenruimte om te chillen.

Hygiëne in woonkamer en keuken. Het was vies. Bruin bevlekte leunstoelen (zitvlak 😱) en de bank ruikt naar hond. Tapijt bevlekt. De keuken was een nachtmerrie voor iedereen die normaal hygiënisch wil koken. Plakkerige, donkere oude kastjes waarin vieze pannen stonden. Servies, glazen en bestek kleverig en vet. Overal accesoires waardoor de plek onmogelijk schoon is te houden. Dus stof en vet hopen zich op. Vintage is niet smerig en een small house kan gewoon fris zijn. Een lik verf ( daar rook het in ieder geval een beetje naar) is niet genoeg . Bedenk trouwens dat je je vuil zelf af dient af te voeren en dat dit 10 euro kost.

Die Lage war gut. Die Übergabe war sehr gut beschrieben. Die Gastgeberin war erreichbar und wir bekamen sogar ein Gastgeschenk! Es war alles vorhanden.

Die Ausstattung in der Küche war nicht sauber! Wir wussten vorher nicht wie hoch die Gebühr für die Handtücher sein wird. Alles in allem etwas "altbacken "

The Small House was the perfect location for walkability throughout Listowel town. The bedrooms/beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you could need. The host was fabulous and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend a stay!

I loved everything about The Small House. It's got its own charm, very cozy and homey. The kitchen was spacious and offered everything we needed. The livingroom was spacious as well, a very comfortable place to be - our toddler kept happily racing through the livingroom, the kitchen and the little garden. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. The upper bathroom was maybe a bit cramped, but super clean as well and also, there are two bathrooms, so no complaints :D Getting the key was super easy, as well, no complications at all. Thank you, for the great holiday!

We had a great stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Location was in a prime area of Listowel. Walking distance to everything. And a great location to tour Kerry from. The home was well equipped. Beds comfortable. House was very clean. Host was very communicative to help with any questions , advice etc

The house is just right. Very clean and plenty of space. Incredible location!!! And excellent host!!!

Two bathrooms were a plus, heat worked well, city location was very convenient & felt safe. There were three different grocery stores all within walking distance. Refrigerator, (rusty) washer & stove worked well. Owner included foil, plastic wrap, laundry soap, salt &, pepper, a a small amount of sugar & milk, plus a bottle of wine ;) Beds upstairs are 2 twins & a double which I believe were mis-advertised as a queen. Upstairs bath is ok for people of average size. For my 6'2" 220lb husband the shower was very small, yet ok for either very skinny or avg height & weight people.

Living room furniture was old & worn. Kitchen was small & awkward. There were only 4 or 5 clothes pins, baseboards are beat up & need painting. Kitchen countertop is uneven making very limited countertop space even more challenging to use. There is an unmarked small decline in living room which could be a trip hazard for those frail of condition. Oh, one of the door locks needs a bit of lube. And, watch your head with the slanted ceilings in the main bedroom.

The location was great for doing what we planned while In the area.

We loved The Small House. It was perfect size for my little family. The location was ideal. We were close to everything and felt very safe and comfortable. We were able to take day trips to Ballybunnion and Cork and be back to the house in no time. My brother and cousins live nearby so the location was ideal for them to visit, too!

I like everything about the property. It is a typical older Irish home so for Americans who might not be familiar with turning on the hot water or the electric shower - it just takes getting used to but that’s not a “dislike”. It’s just worth mentioning for anyone who might not be familiar. Breda made sure everything was highlighted in a nice book with directions and info.

Breda was an exceptional host with a lot of nice touches to make us feel welcome. Good value for money and good location for town center. Would def stay again.

The little extras that were left for us when we arrived were so thoughtful. Breda thought of everything from shampoo/conditioner, packet of biscuits to enjoy with a cuppa. The comfy beds and bed linen made the stay very comfy.

The shower was terrible. The water was either freezing or scalding. When exiting the property you have to take your garbage to the commercial size bins by the circle K and pay 9 euros to dispose of your garbage. Major inconvenience. Also major inconvenience that the owner has to collect the damage deposit after you put through your deposit for the house causing extra fees and charges .
