Perfekt ausgestattet, es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht und ein liebevoll gefüllter Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung lässt einen gut ankommen. Es ist gemütlich und in jeder Ecke steckt Liebe, Bangor Erris selbst hat einen Trail und einen liebebedürftigen Esel am Fluss.

Die Kinder waren mit dem Internet etwas unglücklich, haben es aber überlebt, nicht die gewohnte Geschwindigkeit zu haben. Wer empfindlich bezüglich Lärm ist: das Haus liegt an der Hauptstraße, Verkehr ist natürlich nicht mit normalen Städten zu vergleichen, aber es ist schon recht laut, wenn ein Fahrzeug vorbei fährt (nachts gerne auch mal schneller). Mich und die Kinder hat's nicht gestört, aber mein Mann ist da etwas empfindlich.

Attending a wedding in the area, it was so appreciated to arrive back late at night and have basic food essentials available.

Great house for thee of us. Very well stocked and cozy and warm during a chilly, rainy spell. Good location to explore the area, but would think that without a car, it would be difficult. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we knew if we needed anything, they were a call away. Rooms were good sized, and beds were comfortable. Nice common area/living room to eat and hang out. There was a supermarket and lical pub within walking distance. Nice hiking spots for some great day trips.

A bit far from restaurants; a 20 minute drive to the next town, but full kitchen to cook our own meals.

Very nice and authentic cottage in a small village, perfect parking, shop and bistro in 5 mins walking distance, comfy beds, much space inside, good "basecamp" for hikes into the NP Wild Nephin. Generally very nice place to stay.

Kitchen needs a bit renovation - especially oven and microwave oven were inside dirty so we better did not use them.

El anfitrión majísimo y muy agradable. El alojamiento era perfecto, hogareño y acogedor. Tenía todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones de ensueño. Lástima que solo pasáramos una noche. Sin duda volveremos.

Gerard and Pauline were so welcoming. The house was extremely welcoming and so cozy. Children enjoyed. Wifi connection was top notch. lovely view from the backyard. Overall really good experience. Will definitely visit again.

Our host was very easy to communicate with. He met us at check-in and check-out and gave us a lot of helpful information. The house was spacious and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer!

What an amazing property. We had such a great stay and our host was so nice! It was great to learn about the home and its history within the owner’s family. The town was a perfect stop on our trip around Ireland!

Tolles Haus, sehr geräumig. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die alles erklärt haben. Der Kühlschrank war sogar mit Lebensmitteln wie Milch, Butter, Orangensaft und Marmelade gefüllt. Müsli und Toast sowie Kaffee und Tee war auch vorhanden. Komfortable Betten in allen drei Schlafzimmern. Gemütliches wohn- und Esszimmer sowie ein kleines Bad. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Gerard gave us a very warm welcome, showed us around, and gave us tips. He even had toast and juice ready, among other things – very nice! A good house with beautiful grounds and very good parking in a beautiful location. The house is spacious with many rooms, allowing for some privacy.

The furnishings were functional, but also a bit dated. Wi-Fi wasn't good in all rooms either.

It is a three bedroom bungalow. We were two weary cyclists and so there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed our stay. The facilities were just fine. We cooked for ourselves having bought provisions at the shop which is a short distance away.

Arrived on our bikes to find a quaint Irish c ottage that had all the amenities. Gerard met us upon our arrival with a warm greeting and gave us local suggestions and instructions. we highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything that you could need for a great stay. Handy location and the owners were super friendly and very helpful. Secure parking for the bikes to the rear of the property. We ventured into the West End Bar and had such a memorable night with the locals we couldn’t buy a drink!! We ate from the ‘Chipper’ which was fine all in all a great night

When we arrived we were greeted by Gerard to show us around. The hosts had left us some essentials so we could have a cuppa and some toast (which we thought was a lovely gesture). Everything was clean and cosy. We had a great time visiting family in the local area. We would definitely return to Ash Tree cottage.

What a little gem on the Wild Atlantic way, but we were heading to a funeral locally and needed a bed for the night! The host was so helpful, kind and informative, nothing was a problem. While it did not say breakfast was provided, Pauline had left tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, biscuits, cereal and toast for breakfast, very generous and great value for money. We will definitely be back, thanks again. Annette, Wicklow.

Lovely cottage - pity only there one night. Very spacious and well equipped. Plenty of space to park and nice garden to rear. Great host who had left loads of breakfast essentials. Very good value.

Excellent welcome from Gerry. Great stay, with the house well equipped with everything you need. Really appreciated the little touches from Pauline like fresh bread and milk in the house and all the necessities were there for cooking. Comfy rooms, warm house, Wi-Fi, tv, parking.

Very comfortable, quiet cottage. Well equipped kitchen with some much appreciated supplies left (milk, bread, tea, coffee and various sundries). The host was very friendly and met us at the property. Washing machine and somewhere to peg the washing out was great.

I liked the fact that we had a lovely warm welcome from Gerry , he showed us around the house and left some groceries in the fridge for us ! The house was lovely and warm when we arrived and the turf was stacked up so we could start a fire ! The bedrooms were lovely and cost and spacious and even provided extra blankets in the cupboards which was fabulous ! I will definitely be back !

Everything was amazing, only thing was we didn’t know where to put our black bags with rubbish so we had to leave them out the back as we wasent sure where to put them.

The hosts welcomed us with sweets and dog treats the nicest thing ever done on a stay, the place was very warm and cosy. I'd highly reccomend very suitable for a larger family.

The cottage was very homely and we felt comfortable straight away. Pauline and Gerard were welcoming and friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They had left the essentials for a cup of tea when we arrived. Milk in the fridge, biscuits and buns in the cupboard. 😁 I would certainly recommend a stay at the cottage. Value for money and situated in a good location for day trips to places of interest around Mayo.
