Property is getting a bit tired, we had issues with the TV and one of the toilets.

Tipica casa caratteristica, ti fa sembrare immerso nella realtà locale. Ti fa sentire come se abitassi lì da sempre. Tutto in ordine e pulito. Comodo anche il piccolo bagno a piano terra oltre ai due bagni della zona camere. Comodo il parcheggio di fronte.

Il letto matrimoniale aveva il materasso non troppo comodo ma ci siamo adattati.

Location and heating was working very well

House supposed to be spotless for that price but it was dirty - floors, dishes, furniture itself. And next guest should be ready that there will be completely nothing in the kitchen for cooking you need to take your own salt and sugar if you are planning to go there or to spend money for a full sized products in SuperValu… the same no washing powder

Locatie was top. Contact met de host erg goed, reageert snel erg behulpzaam. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

The location was perfect for us, as we have friends and family in a near location

The mattresses on all beds were of poor substance and I actually woke up very sore each morning, from the double bed !! Tv was very complicated to work out, we had no instructions, but was fine when we finally did! Shower in the double room, needs updating to electric, so you don’t have to warm the water first

如果可以加強一下清潔打掃，補充足夠的廁所紙巾，更換一下廚具就更加好了。

It is what it says on the tin. An affordable stay in a nice town -- the accommodation, from one who has been to/through many hotels, is as good as you can hope for. The hosts/owners, incredibly nice and accommodating. This is a must for any considering self-catering.

It was a great size and a perfect location for all the things we wanted to see, and very comfortable

Unkompliziertes Einchecken dank Schlüsselbox, Vermieter antwortete immer sofort. Ausreichend Platz im Haus, alles sehr sauber. Kleiner Innenhof separat zum Sitzen und Rauchen. Ausstattung ordentlich, Betten sehr gut. Lage im Ort zentral, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. SuperValue und Aldi innerhalb von 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ruhige Lage direkt am Fluss.

Küchenausstattung könnte besser sein: Kelle, Topflappen und einige Küchenutensilien fehlten zum perfekten Selbstkochen - ging aber auch so!

Loved the lovely big fluffy towels, the house was beautiful and in a great location. Great easy instructions for the property and had everything we needed.

Beautiful walks alongside River Barrow. Very convenient to facilities, restaurants, bars, shopping. Locals very friendly and courteous.

The house was spotless, very well equipped and central to everything. Beautiful river a stones throw from the front door with ducks and swans, the kids had a ball feeding them. Eoin was a gentleman to deal with.

Price was good. Attended wedding in area Host Eoin facilitied early check-in and was available immediately for a small issue we had.

Such a gorgeous home that was a lovely home away from home. A warm house with comfortable beds. Great communication from the host. Super Value within easy walking distance and a local pub about 1 minute walk away. There is a river at the end of the street which was great to walk along. Thank you so much to our host.

To get a 10 out of 10, can only suggest tea and coffee. Other then that, everything was wonderful.

Loved the coloured houses. Everything was in the house that we needed. Close to shop and beautiful walks along river. House in Great place to go to other towns.

Perhaps could have been a bit more in the way of providing soap in the bathroom that sort of thing.

Eoin is very nice and attentive. Great host. Location is perfect. Close drive to Kilkenny.

The beds were not very comfortable. You can feel the bed springs coming through and the pillows were very flat. Also had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels, which wasn't a big deal, but if we are staying longer than 3 or 4 days (which we were), then the place could have been stocked some more. Or just pop by every few days with more supplies.

Our second time in Barrow Lane. We had a great time. Cannot beat the location. Right in the centre if town, with pub and supermarket right across the road. Playground and shop also super close. And of course the Barrow river that offers peaceful walk to next village. I think we'll be back for a third time soon.

Eoin the host was a gentleman. I initially had booked it for just myself to attend the Borris Festival, and there was no problem adding a friend who decided to join me. All correspondence was seamless, and the accommodation was warm and inviting. Lovely warm comfortable house with everything you require at your fingertips. Would highly recommend. Thank you to Eoin Rea, we will definitely be back.

There was nothing I didn't like, I have high standards, and they were all met.

The property was well equipped and in a great location for what was needed as visiting family.

The only fault I could say and it’s a very small one is there was no iron. There was a ironing board but no iron and it would have been nice to have had one to get some of the creases out of the clothes for travelling but apart from that it was exceptional so thank you.

This isn’t the property fault but the sewer drains where emptied on the Saturday morning which created a horrific smell

Very clean, quiet place, closer to all the amenities. Nice warm house you want to come and relax. The village is historical and beautiful. Make sure you go for a boat ride also for a walk, there are many hidden gems. A nice pint in the local pub will not disappoint you.

May need a few little cooking pots. Also slightly dated.

lots of space for family of 4. 2 en-suite bedrooms plus downstairs toilet. Bottled water provided. My children loved the colourful houses on the street, looked like Balamory 🤣 Pictures do not do this cute little house justice !

Loved the location. It was compact but you had everything you needed. Both bedrooms were ensuite with a toilet downstairs. Close to a shop, takeaway and pub.

Booked last minute and they did everything to have the place ready in good time. Very quick to answer any queries. The location is very central and so close to the Barrow and its beautiful walks and swimming.

The twin beds very comfortable however the double matress could be better..

wonderful little house, great location next to canal. Aldi & SuperValu within 5 minutes walk, couple of bars & takeaways locally ( not used) Free parking opposite. Easy self check in & Eoin was always responsive with messages. Felt like a home from home!

nothing not to like

We had a great stay! The property is lovely, it was spotless and clean, beds were very comfortable. Really good value for money. Eoin our host was excellent! he was very accommodating and helpful. the house is situated beside the Barrow canal with a beautiful walk beside it. We took a lovely, relaxing boat-trip along the Canal which lasted about 50 mins. We will definitely be using this host again and staying in this property when we will travel down that direction again.

That it was a nice quiet area to relax in.
