Everything. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the nice little touches from the hosts, from a personalized welcome note and freshly baked scones to kid-friendly items left out for our kids to enjoy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly, highly recommend it. Caroline and Marty are lovely people.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour Tout était parfait et propre. L accueil de Caroline est exceptionnel et attentionné. Le logement est décoré avec beaucoup de charme. Il ne manque rien. L emplacement est parfait pour visiter la région. Si nous revenons au Connemara, nous sejournerons chez Caroline sans hésitation. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

Great location for visiting Clifden. Beds comfortable, good facilities, fresh eggs from the hens and lovely scones on arrival. Clean and easy to check in. Short walk into town. Great stay all around, we would recommend.

Tv might need updating as it didn’t connect to wifi, however we used our personal hotspot so it was fine in the end.

Everything was perfect! Wonderful location, walkable to town, easy location to park & drive. Marty and Caroline were great host and gave us many recommendations. Clifden an d Connemara we’re our favorite out of our trip around Ireland.

We had a lovely kitchen for preparing our own breakfasts. Upon arrival, our hostess Caroline made delicious scones for us. Caroline and Marty did a lot for us without ever being intrusive - they are just lovely and accommodating. The decor of the cottage was light and airy, everything was sparkling clean, shower and kitchen appliances easy to use. We couldn't have asked for more. Plus, Marty's new spring lambs across the road were a delight.

Séjour magnifique dans le Connemara grâce à l accueil exceptionnel de Caroline et Marty tous deux très gentils et prévenants. Cottage charmant, douillet avec tout ce qu'il faut à l intérieur. Petits scones tous chauds et petite musique irlandaise pour nous accueillir 🥰. Que dire tout était magique!!

Séjour exceptionnel. D'abord, arrivée à notre convenance avec des scones tous frais, délicieux. l'emplacement au calme, près des commerces et de la mer, adossé au collines ! Magistral ! Ensuite l'excellence de qualité de la maison. Très propre (rarement autant), avec très beau linge de maison (dans les chambres magnifiques, particulièrement), très belle, très confortable et cosy, parfaitement décorée pour Noël par notre hôte. A notre arrivée, tout pour profiter de la chaleur du poêle était prêt. De la musique irlandaise était en route. l'ambiance était chaude, apaisante et réjouissante. Bien que discrète, notre hôte est venue nous voir très amicalement pour nous offrir, la veille de Noël, un cheese cake qui nous a fait dessert pour ce jour de fête. Aussi, plein de prospectus (idées de sorties, découvertes, randonnées), cartes de tourisme et livret "fait maison" plein de très bons conseils, notamment en cas d 'urgence, de besoin (téléphones et adresses des médecins, pharmacies, etc.) , de commodités locales (spa, restaurants, boutiques ...). Finalement, un état des lieux et une sortie très agréable et facile grâce à notre hôte attentionnée et discrète. Envie de revenir. A découvrir par tous absolument !

We had a wonderful two night stay and loved Wildflower Cottage. Caroline is a fantastic hostess and gave us lots of information about the area. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The attention to detail was excellent we had everything we needed. Provision of an extra duvet was appreciated, as was the extra effort for Halloween 🎃 . This was totally appreciated, by my daughters 3yo, he called it Halloween Cottage. Thank you

Gorgeous cottage, with the most perfect welcome, home cooked scones in the oven. Fabulous location, quiet, but a short walk into Clifden where there are lovely restaurants and bars. Lidl and Aldi and takeaway pizza also in walking distance. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, with comfy beds. Can highly recommend.

The owner Caroline was so welcoming and generous, and even introduced us to her chickens. When we asked, she invited us to pick up their fresh eggs. Every morning we were here. Caroline answered all of our questions and we give her the highest recommendations of all the places we’ve stayed in Ireland. She extended extra special attention to our wedding anniversary celebration, way beyond expectations.

It was nothing we didn’t like about her fantastic little two bedroom cottage complete with a sound system and lights, etc.

Caroline was an amazing host, and her gorgeous cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and tidy. An added bonus were the 5 chickens on the property that we tended to during our stay. Would recommend this cottage 100%.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Cottage mit allem was man braucht. Sehr ruhig und doch zentral. Sehr nette Vermieter. Wir haben sogar eine sheepdog Demonstration von Marty mit seiner Boarder-Collie Hündin bekommen. Fußläufig ist man in 5 Minuten im Zentrum von Clifden. Eine sehr hübsche Kleinstadt mit guten Seafood-Restaurants und Pubs.

Cottage meraviglioso, arredato con stile e gusto, molto spazioso e silenzioso. Uova fresche al mattino con le galline educatissime di Caroline. Stufa a legna e illuminazione studiata aggiungono atmosfera

Bellissimo arredamento e di elevata qualità . Appartamento stupendo, dotato di tutti i servizi e comfort . I proprietari sono persone gentilissime e pronti a darci consigli ed indicazioni. Ambiente veramente accogliente , perfetto per un viaggio in famiglia.

The location of the property was excellent and close to the lovely village of Clifden . The property is well maintained and the Host Caroline has gone to great effort to. Welcome her Guests and leaves plenty guides and ideas what to do in the area. The property has its own chickens and we availed of their fresh eggs on many a morning. ! We even sat and chatted to them with our first cup of tea in the morning.

This lovely cottage was clean, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. It is deally situated in the town of Clifden to allow us walk to the local shops, restaurants and pubs. It's also very convenient to explore Connemara and Mayo. We were greeted on our arrival with the aroma of freshly baked scones, which were still in the oven and they were a welcome treat after our journey. Our host Caroline was very welcoming and provided everything needed for a pleasant stay.

There is absolutely nothing we didn't like about this cottage. It was perfect for our stay.

Caroline and Marty are very welcoming hosts. They greeted us with home-baked scones and fresh eggs for breakfast. The chickens were right next to the cottage so we had fresh eggs each morning. We really liked the cottage as it was fully equipped from the kitchen, to games and even towels for the beach. There were also a washing machine and dryer.

This charming cottage is very comfortable and clean. Caroline and Marty are lovely hosts making us feel very welcome. They had leftout toys for my one year old grandson who also loved visiting the sheep every morning. Fantastic location for exploring the Connamara area.

Our arrival was amazing. Caroline left us freshly baked scones ♥, and the entire house was decorated with surprises for my children. The atmosphere was very cozy. Our stay was wonderful, with charming details and a perfect house!

Caroline and Marty are great hosts that really worked to make us feel as if it were our home (welcoming home-made scones in the oven; books for our kids) The cottage is fantastic, all equipped, very beautiful. Marty showed us how he works with his dog and the sheeps. Wonderful from the beginning to the end.

a very warm welcome, a pretty, pleasant and very comfortable house with all the necessary equipment and perfectly located in a quiet area but close to the center of Clifden. Caroline is very friendly and kind, she gives good advice and good ideas. Marty gave us a demonstration with his dog Bashee and the sheep very interesting. Great and very friendly hosts. They helped in an unexpected situation and washed our clothes. They also drove us to the port in Cleggab when we didn't have a car. Very helpful! Our son liked the chickens and also children's bed linen.

Caroline was fantastic at communicating and went out of her way to accommodate an early check in for us. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the chickens were a great addition to the cottage, along with their fresh eggs in the morning and homebaked scones waiting for us on arrival. We are already planning a return stay.

The hostess was there to greet us, having made fresh scones that were tasty. She was super helpful/got us dinner reservations/was very personable and lovely. It was nice to be in a house instead of a hotel...room to move around and very relaxing. And there are chickens with fresh eggs for breakfast!

It was an amazing experience there. Caroline kept every detail in mind in order to our stay was incredible. The cottage is like a fairytail with a charming environment surrounded a kind of lovely animals and good vibes. The house was clean, ordered, and had nice aroma. It is close to the village but at the same time we felt calm in the countryside. There you can breath peace. Also, we were lucky because that night coincided that the Northen Lights appeared, and we could see them on the garden! Caroline was so nice with us and we felt that everything which she did was with love. All of these did that we were really confortable. The next day we had a surprise to our breaksfast! You should go to discover the rest of them. We'll come back sure 🥰

Lovely little cottage. We only stayed one night, but would have gladly stayed longer. It is clear that they care about their guests. They left some milk, scones in the oven, and fresh eggs. Some books and night light for my little girls. Kitchen had what we needed. They have a cot. Gave clear instructions on how to find it.

Only thing is that we wished there was a washing machine.

Really clean. No dust anywhere. Lovely smell. Great cooking facilities. Everything I would use to cook at home is there. Really friendly and helpful host. Games and books put out for the kids. Scones baking in oven when we arrived!

The host was excellent and I cannot company it with any previous properties I've been in. The hosts made us feel like the house was designed for us and ensured we were super comfortable by visiting us in the morning to get feedback. House is equipped with everything one could ask for. It exceeded all our expectations. It's an ideal Irish house, soon after we entered, there was light Irish music playing, everything we needed for our toddler was already there and fresh eggs was cherry on the cake! Cannot recommend them more :)

We loved the host attention to detail, we had freshly baked scones when we arrived and a nice selection of teas and coffes. The information she has provided about the area was very thorough and very useful.

The location from Clifden was perfect, it was a lovely property and Caroline went over and beyond to make our stay perfect. Everything was tidy warm and all the guides made everything a breeze for planing activities during our stay.

Beautiful house in great location, only 5/10 min walk to all the spots in town. Caroline as a host couldn't do more for us in terms if information and making sure our stay was OK. Would 100% come back and stay again!

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location.

We had a very wonderful stay at Wildflower Cottage. Everything is available, very clean and furnished with love. Chickens live in the garden and provide fresh eggs. Caroline and Marty are such lovely hosts and welcomed us with still warm scones. We were allowed to cuddle the puppies and got a demonstration from Marty with his sheep. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back. Many thanks dear Caroline and dear Marty.

The house is just perfect. It is in the country, surrounded by sheep and chickens and still very near the centre of town. Caroline is a very good host that wants you to have the best stay! I recommend to book this lovely cottage.

It was perfect

This was a fun place to explore Clifden from. We biked most days and enjoyed the house when we were home. one thing to know is it is located only 10 minutes from town but it’s a steep hill to climb if you are walking. we found it healthy after dinner and music.

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed - the host even provided homemade scones waiting for us on arrival. Lots of very nice design touches around the house, plenty of local info for activities and restaurants, and even some chickens in the coop outside which sometimes means fresh eggs! Our host was extremely helpful and flexible with us.

Beautiful location with pretty much every convenience needed on site. Hosts were very accommodating and had everything laid out beautifully down to books for my daughter to keep her entertained. They had also left us fresh eggs and scones on arrival which was a beautiful touch.
