Reviewed May 31, 2026Close to the town, very clean and very well presented. Owners communicated well and the price was very reasonable. The rooms are very spacious, big beds and the area was quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2025I couldn’t fault the house, it was very clean and comfortable in a quiet area close to the town. You could easily walk to the town along a path in roughly 10 minutes. The house itself has everything you need and has plenty of space inside with a nice sit out area in the yard. The host was very welcoming. It is an ideal base for day trips around the Ring of Kerry. There is a petrol station/shop very close to the house that has all of the essentials you need. We had a beautiful meal in Davitts during our stay and would certainly come back again in the future.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2025The location was good, it’s walkable to the town via a path, though it does take 15 minutes. For us, having the 4 bedrooms made up for the walk as most holiday homes only have 3 bedrooms. There was also charcoal provided for the grill, which we took advantage of.
The only issue was that the clotheshorse was broken, but this wasn’t a big issue and we got by.

For 6 people shortage of bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels & no spares in hot press.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2024Great location, exceptionally clean, lots of space and a very good layout for a group of guests. Check in and check out was easy. Beautiful little garden with outdoor seating area, quiet with birdsong. Large master bedroom with very big en suite was ideal as we had a small baby with us.
The only thing I'd change is the mattresses are extremely soft, like sleeping in a marshmallow. This may be a plus for many people

A bit of a walk into the town, but there’s a short cut so only takes 10 minutes.
