Had a wonderful stay at Miracle Mountains. What I liked most was the excellent service from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with a smile. The accommodation was very comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful atmosphere. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made the experience even more special. Waking up to the beautiful mountain scenery was a highlight of my visit. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, comfort, stunning views, and exceptional staff made this a memorable stay. I would highly recommend Miracle Mountains to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was spectacular, awesome little break from the city!! Really beautiful cottage, spacious, fireplace to make is warm and a host that make sure we have what we need!!

It is about 15km dirt road, but we wanted an out of city experience, so the drive was worth those beautiful mountains!!

Comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Also much roomier than we expected. There is also place to braai and lots of place for fur babies to play and run free. Janet was extremely welcoming and helpful. And we appreciated the little notes around the cottage with tips to help us during our stay. Its a great option for a staycation!

Although there is a 10km dirt road to get to the accommodation, it is not as rough as drive as you would expect with minimal gravel and potholes. The oven markings have worn off so using the oven proved a little tricky.

The property was very clean stunning decor lots of space for our 4 year old to run around. Free WiFi was a bonus, fireplace lounge was cosy perfect for a midlands rainy day.

No washing machine or tumble dryer. Would recommend especially if there’s kids.

Janet’s daily housekeeping was of the highest standard — always professional, friendly, and delivered with a welcoming smile. Miracle Mountain is simply that—a miracle haven in a quiet part of the Dargle Valley. A little oasis of calm contemplation and connection with nature, beautifully and exquisitely appointed, with incredible views stretching out across the valley. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered for your comfort, from the inviting spaces to the wonderfully comfortable beds. After a hot day on the meander, we were blessed with a gentle late mist rolling in, which came with the added bonus of spotting fireflies. Janet is a jovial gem and a welcoming face after a long, hot day on the meander. A place of many happy returns.

If you want an immaculate home from home experience then this is the place for you. There isn’t anything that has not been thought of to ensure that your stay is absolutely perfect. The kitchen has every utensilC crockery and cutlery needed; the lounge is incredibly spacious and comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms so comfortable. There is an outside patio that is an absolute delight to sit at in the morning and look at the view. I was just sad I wasn’t there longer.

We could not believe how immaculate the house was, with a view to match! The house was beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There was so much space for them to run around, and we were comfortable our entire stay because the house and garden were so secure. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return!

Everything was brilliant from start to finish, the place was spotless with ample firewood to keep us warm. The home is very well decorated with many touches that make it feel homely. It was an absolute pleasure staying here.

The owner did not disclose that the drive to the cottage is on a dirt road best suited for high rise cars and should be attempted in daytime, especially if it’s your 1st visit.

Joanne kept in touch to ensure we found our way easily, and Janet was available to receive us and was very hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house in the Midlands. It was modern, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious layout and stunning views made it even more special. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings were just perfect—could not have asked for more! Highly recommend.

The road leading up to the property is a bit tricky, especially after rain, but that just added to the adventure! It’s relative to the location, and it’s absolutely worth it once you reach the top. The stunning views and peaceful surroundings made the drive more than worthwhile.

Isolated, great location, beautiful home

We arrived late (car problems) so the route was undesirable at night, much better in the morning.

Couldn't fault much - the house was beautiful and modern, and clean! The view was stunning. The fireplace was great. The wifi and DSTV worked perfectly. Everything in the kitchen is labeled and so well-organized. There is a long dirt road, though, so just be aware of that...higher vehicles will do better, but we did manage with my little swift - we just had to drive slowly.

The only problem we had was that the water would go from boiling hot to ice cold in about 3-5mins whenever we had a shower and we couldn't have a bath, because of it...the bath water would just end up being cold.

I loved the serenity of the place. The hostess was fantastic. Definitely a place to recommended.

The place needed an off road vehicle or an suv, there is a bit of dirt road to travel.

The location with a stunning view. Very quiet and remote away from the hustle and bustle so you can really relax and unwind and you are 20km away from almost everything. Very stylishly decorated and well maintained cottage. Staff responsive as well as the host. Will definitely return 😁. Absolutely fell in love with the area.

Only constructive feedback I can offer is fix the bottom outlet of the braai so you can control the temperature better. Leave manuals for the dishwasher and oven in a drawer or cupboard or put instructions up somewhere, maybe I missed it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the place. Wonderful space just to escape the hustle and bustle of life. It was particularly cold on the weekend I was there, and I made good use of the fireplace. Very cosy!

I honestly cannot fault this property. We had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. The attention to detail is out of this world. There is a gravel road but it is in great condition. Can’t wait to come and stay again.

Absolutely loved the place. It was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Exceptionally clean, well organised, there are labels on just about everything. I know it is a small detail, but it really makes life so much easier. Stunning bedrooms, the main room has the en-suite with the stunning dual head shower. The main room also has a king-sized bed, a lovely bonus, as this isn't actually advertised on the listing. I don't think a bath was mentioned either, yet again, a lovely little surprise for my wife once we saw it! So much more to say, but all in all, a beautiful home and worth the trip!.

We would have loved the additional privacy that would be provided by adding curtains in the lounge. A beautiful view out the patio doors, but curtains would definitely have been appreciated Communication can be tricky with limited signal. It wasn't a major issue, but we did have an unexpected visit from Janet, who was delivering our firewood. Due to limited signal, our message wasn't received until much later in the evening. We had Janet arrive with our firewood at an unexpected moment, leaving us a little on edge regarding our privacy. Once we have clearly communicated with Joanne, we had no further issues, and it was lovely!

The cottage was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. What I really liked was that everything was labeled and easy to find. We enjoyed watching the wood cutting and beautiful views. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Miracle Mountain Cottage. The exceptional hospitality from our hosts, Jo and Janet, they were responsive and friendly. Size of the accommodation. Extra touches. Friendly staff. Style. Amenities. Reasonably pr8ced for what you get.

Did not expect the long 10km dirt road. Tough on sedans. Takes a long time to get anywhere. Really wish there was place to unpack. The total lack of drawers in the bedrooms of any significance forced us to live out of suitcases. This is definitely something I would work on. Main bedroom has no drawers and other bedrooms only have very small ones.

The house and the view were amazing , Janet was also sweet and super helpful, the house has everything you need, everything is labelled so you wont have an issue finding anything, it's spacious and very neat, there's absolutely nothing to dislike about this place, we will definitely be back in the near future.

What a beautiful serene place, stunning design and furnishings, and fully setup with all you need. Our family could not stop talking...it was a bit nippy and the fireplace helped a lot. The host was super helpful for checking in and directions. This was a worthwhile and relaxing experience and wouldn't mind returning in the future...
