Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Wonderful, cozy and very comfortable accommodation! We spent a few days here, we were completely delighted. The house is bright, clean, equipped with absolutely everything you need for a quality vacation and cooking (the kitchen is just great). You can feel the real comfort and security of home. We will definitely come back here again. I recommend it 100%!

Where it was located there wasn’t any view only of forestry too rural for us even tho we come from the countryside we have fabulous views. Garden was plan picnic bench was too dirty to sit out. Dresser draw was all marked . Didn’t have much contact with the host who was to bring us up tea towel . Which never arrived.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026Excellent stay. Beautiful cottage which is a bit isolated (which is exactly what we wanted). Very clean and modern. Excellent communication from the host as well. We visited Ireland to visit Knock and this cottage was in a good location for it (Knock was around a 25 minute drive away). Would love to return soon...
Everything was great. My only suggestion is to maybe have TVs in the bedrooms as well, but that is only a very minor thing. Everything was fantastic, we loved our stay.

Slightly reduced cleaning quality - dirty cups, pots, oven fan not working. The green light on the fire alarm directly above the bed is scary. We had to tape over the indicator light because it was impossible to sleep with it on.

Reviewed May 13, 2025We've stayed here twice now, both times we've enjoyed it. the house is perfect. very clean, lots of facilities, comfy beds, lovely bathroom suite. the views outside the property are amazing, and the location is perfect. it's got everything you need for a nice break. The owner is very friendly, and will help if you require it well recommended, we will be back.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2024Fantastic hosts ,we were sent a message the day before we traveled with an eircode to help us find the cottage,Laura had the cottage in immaculate condition and had left us some handy essentials to have in the house all dealings with Laura were easy and we were told to contact her if we had any things we needed , the cottage itself is really great it’s clean and spacious and is located close to many different activities, I would have no hesitation recommending the cottage and our hosts if you need some where to stay in the area ,thank you

Very comfortable and nicely designed and furnished small holiday home. Very pleasant interior decoration, and lots of natural light inside the house, which was very enjoyable. Nicely maintained. Moving in, entering and discovering the house for the first time was very enjoyable. Nice views.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2024Laura provided tea, coffee and cake for us on arrival and in the fridge was milk, butter, bread and eggs and bottles of water for our day trips. It made us feel welcome immediately. The freezer and cupboards even had some foodstuffs left over from previous guests which helped us out on our first day's breakfast and lunch. What a thoughtful touch. The property itself has been thoroughly updated - very 21st century. We even had Netflix on demand.
We are tall and large individuals. The beds were very comfy and our visit was only for 3 nights but we are used to wider ones.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2024The Cottage was very spacious and clean, the location is a bit far out, but with a car things are quite easy to get to. Very well decorated living space and rooms, all facilities are available and very helpful for us. The beds are a bit too soft for us but very comfortable. Definitely recommend and will come back again!

Welcome pack was opened and left from previous guests and not replaced. Personally after the pandemic I think it is important that welcome items are disposed and replaced after each stay.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2022This cottage was just perfect for our family of 4 including 2 kids , the house was spotless comfortable very nicely decorated and had everything you could need right down to milk in the fridge bread tea coffee etc along with toiletries also provided. Laura even left a little welcome cake with a welcome note and a tray of goodies and sweets for us and was so good at keeping contact to make sure we checked in OK. Would definitely return again .
It was a little isolated and would need google maps to find it but it was so peaceful and quiet and once u had a car all the towns were not too far away .
