I booked this on behalf of my Mum and Dad. They had a long trip but when they arrived they were very grateful for the wonderful welcome pack. It included, bread, eggs, bacon, biscuits and more and it was of very good quality. The owner was always available if needed he was very helpful and pleasant. The location was great for what they needed and they had trips to Knock, Boyle and Carrick O' Shannon.

My Grandsons had a great time running around the lovely safe back garden and playing hide and seek in the 3 bedrooms in the house!
We loved the cottage feel of the property. On arrival we met Tom who showed us around the property, he had left us the ingredients for a full Irish breakfast and a load of treats, which we really appreciated. It really was home from home, it had everything we could possibly need. It was great location, just a small walk from Leitrim village which had lovely pubs and restaurant, a great place to visit.
Absolutely nothing.
The place was beautiful. The garden was amazing. Tom was so lovely and helpful

Host very pleasant. Full of information about the area. All round facilities very comfortable
Windows at the back (where we were advised to come and go from) dusty and full of cobwebs. Path and bench need a power wash
The property was great! We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the nearby Drumhierney Hideaway. We were welcomed by Tom who was a top man, he had the house organised brilliantly. Tea and coffee and biscuits available and fresh milk in the fridge. He even had a cot left out for my sisters young baby. A short walk to Leitrim village, everything was clean and peaceful. Would highly recommend!
Can’t fault it at all, fair price and good location. Clean and peaceful, with wifi, Netflix and plenty of towels etc.
Accommodation was very comfortable and close to amenities
Peace and quiet. Also the TV service provided. Each of the three bedrooms are en suite.

Ash Lodge is a lovely, comfortable bungalow in a peaceful location. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Tom was an excellent host who made us feel very welcome and provided some great recommendations for local attractions, pubs and places to eat. A perfect base for exploring Leitrim and the surrounding area.
Nothing to dislike. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Lovely cottage
Cleanliness
This is a quiet, modern, extremely comfortable house with the host near but not intrusive. It's a short walk to the village, with great pubs and the marvelous Shannon flowing through the center.
It is out from Carrick on Shannon, but only a short drive. And I think that's a good thing.
We had a wonderful stay at Ash Lodge. Tom welcomed us with a warm fire and was kind and helpful throughout. The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We would happily return. Thank you,
I liked the look and feel of the house, the facilities and the host were excellent.
Tom was a great host, friendly and informative. House is a 6 minute walk from Leitrim village, lots of lovely trails around. The road from the house is pushchair friendly for the short walk into the village. Lots of space and each room had an ensuite which was a great bonus.
Tom was on site to greet us. He was welcoming us and showed us in.
Beautifully appointed, cosy and clean and with a host of treats to make you feel at home.

The cottage has been renovated, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and can accommodate 4-6 people. Tom is a very kind host, who immediately responded to our special requests. The area is quiet and peaceful.
The previous guests left just before us, so I assume there was no time for a more thorough cleaning. The property is only accessible by car.
Very clean and comfortable, with a lovely stove, home away from home, and very close to Leitrim village.
A lovely space near Leitrim village and drumhierney hideaway too. We stayed there with our 6 week old as my wife was attending a hen in drumhierney. Great big space, peaceful, full of everything you need, and so near the village
The accommodation was first class- a very homely, spacious, cosy stone cottage with everything you could ask for to make a holiday break comfortable and enjoyable. There were thoughtful extras to make us feel welcome and we would highly recommend. The locality was great with so many places to visit and dine out or order a takeaway. Thank you Tom.
We were met by Tom who had a roaring fire going when we arrived and it was lovely and cosy.
Tom was a great host and the house was fabulous, really cosy, well equipt and well presented. Tom was very helpful and Accommodating will definitely be back again. 10 out of 10 Thank you Tom for helping making a fabulous weekend in Leitrim Village
Tom was a lovely host, very welcoming. Great location as we were doing the carrick camino. Tom had left us essentials, tea coffee sugar etc, would highly recommend this property
The property was amazing! Three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. Beautiful location with fantastic garden. Excellent location for Shannon, bluejay and surrounding areas. Tom was an amazing host, so welcoming and helpful, he supplied everything we could have wanted including breakfast, bread, butter milk tea bags toilet and kitchen roll. Over and above anywhere else we had stayed. Tom was also easily contactable should we need him, while still giving us our space and privacy.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property - children didn’t want to leave!
I liked the fact that its self catering and all the 3 bedrooms were en suite. Two of the bedrooms had double beds and one had two single beds. The garden was very well kept and looked beautiful along with being in a quiet location. The owner Tom showed us around and explained how the heating worked and he left a few sweets and a carton of fresh milk for us when we arrived. There is plenty of parking for cars so if a group were staying there is plenty of space
The only thing i didnt like was how expensive it was. Now if there was a group of 6 people it would have worked out cheaper per person but its still on the higher end of things
Tom was a wonderful helpful host, lovely lodge & great location. Short walk in to leitrim & good location for travelling. Great location for the Drumshambo gin distillery & to visit carrick on Shannon. We will definitely be going back.
The cottage was very spacious and clean. Tom, the landlord, was very friendly. He welcomed us personally and gave us a free pack of Irish Breakfast, too! The kitchen has everything you need including tea and coffee. The cottage is only 10 mins drive from Carrick on Shannon and in walkable distance to Leitrim village. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon!
Property was lovely and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Leitrim village and a 10 minute drive to carrick on Shannon! They had a lovely fire going in the evenings and the place is spacious and clean. Tom was a lovely and friendly host. 100% would recommend to a friend

Host was amazing, let us know about all the local happenings and best spots for walks, food, and music. Property was spotless, had full amenities, and made us feel at home. Easy walking distance to Leitrim Village downtown, and driving to Carrick-on-Shannon. If you do go, take the beautifully scenic walk for amazing food at Beirnes of Battlebrige!
Veeery little that I can complain about. It was awesome. Only thing you could say was that the internet in the back bedroom struggled, but who needs to use their phone in bed, just go to sleep!
Tom was exceptional from booking to his flexibility, upon arrival the property was very clean a wonderful welcome pack (boxty was so thoughtful)

Tom was super welcoming and had the fire lit for us coming in in the evening as well as milk, biscuits, tea and coffee. We had a great time and it was the ideal spot for our weekend away. The house is amazing and very well kept. We will definitely be going back
What can we say only the best staycation we have taken so far in many years, the house is absolutely everything you coukd ask for, spacious, comfortable, 3 ensuite bathrooms, comfy beds and well stocked kitchen with all the essentials, great WiFi and plenty of brochures with all the local activities etc also, Tom the owner of the house was very friendly and we also got the pleasure of meeting Molly the very friendly and cuddly labradore:) the house comes with a great garden and outside eating area and is only a few minutes walk from the great pubs of Leitrim Village and we had great in 2 of them. Close to the hub of Carrig on Shannon and Boyle and all in all a great location to spend a holiday, we definitely hope to visit again in the future!! Best wishes Tom and keep up the great hospitality the country needs it:).
Wish we had more time there:)
The host was friendly at the start and welcoming. It was nice to have free tea/coffee/biscuits on arrival. Lovely area, nice garden for the children to play in, comfortable beds and good to have en-suite.
No Wi-Fi throughout stay - the host advised he would reboot the Wi-Fi but never got back to us. We were then advised by locals that wifi is always bad in this area. The host also advised my little girl he would take her to see the cows but when it was mentioned during our stay he appeared to ignore that so I ended up with one very upset little girl as she never got to see the cows. We found green glass on the floor in the kitchen and a piece went up my foot. We were tidying up at checkout and were 15 mins late leaving as we trying to leave the place clean…emptying bins etc. The host walked in and all he said was ‘I have the cleaner coming in a minute’. He didn’t say thanks for staying or helping clean or safe journey etc He didn’t even say goodbye. We didn’t see him again after he mentioned the cleaner. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due to this.
