Kids loved their Holliday home
I received an email saying we had been upgraded to Heather Glade 1 which had a Hot Tub. The property was lovely the gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the heating is preset so no way to pop it on when the lodge became colder. Unfortunately we missed the times reception was open next day as we had a day out arranged which meant the first 2 evenings/nights very cold. However I manage to speak to the gentleman in reception who adjusted the heating which meant we had a very cosy final night.
The lodges are located in a idyllic location. Ours was clean and comfortable and on-site laundry services were great and we were welcomed by a very nice attendant. They have a friendly kitty, too!
The bedrooms were a little cramped and the kitchenette is tiny for a house sleeping 6. We made it work, though!
As we had a vehicle it was easy to use as a base to explore the area. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and it was comfortable.
The main living area was a bit cold.
Beautiful location, peaceful. Good base to visit lots of different places. Will return. Was our second holiday there.
