Cabañas Tangaroa y Hamea

Der Besitzer der Cabaña Tabgaroa y Hamea war eines der liebsten Menschen die ich je kennen lernen durfte und alleine diese freundliche Art und Weise hat die Reise um ein vielfaches verschönert. Angefangen von der Unterkunft ist da gar nichts auszusetzen. Die Cabaña ist gemütlich, war im perfektem Zustand, mit kompletter Ausstattung und die Lage im Grünen mit den zahlreichen Tieren war fantastisch. Somit war das schon perfekt und mit der städtischen Lage neben der Maois war’s immer ein Vergnügen abends den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten oder an der Küste ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Darüber hinaus wie schon gesagt war der Besitzer der Cabaña ein wahrer Sonnenschein. Alleine mit dem Service uns abzuholen war sehr zutreffend. Dabei hat er uns Hanga Roa gezeigt und erklärt wie alles funktioniert, freundlicherweise uns zur Touristeninformation gebracht wo wir unsere Pässe stempeln konnten und dann uns zu einem Laden gebracht wo wir notwendige Lebensmittel kaufen konnten. Dazu noch war er sehr gesprächig und die Konversationen waren für mich sehr amüsant und schön. Somit haben wir uns versorgt gefühlt und waren von einem Insider top informiert. Am letzten Tag, also der Abreise, bot er uns noch an zu der Kolonie am Vulkan zu besuchen, was sehr großzügig war. Leider war diese durch Witterungsverhältnisse gesperrt trotzdem aber haben wir einen entspannten Ausflug gemacht und haben viel erfahren (und natürlich Spaß). Alles im allem war es eine schöne Zeit und mein kleiner Traum zu der Osterinsel zu reisen wurde von der tatsächlich Reise weit übertroffen. Auch mit der so lieben Art vom Besitzer haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Enkelkinder von ihm sollten sich glücklich schätzen so jemanden wie ihn zu haben. Danke für diese schöne Zeit. Es ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Nur das WLAN funktioniert nicht immer auf Höchstleistung aber wenn man in so einer Umgebung ist dann kann und sollte man das Handy auch mal weglegen können.

Nur das WLAN aber ich habe sowieso mein Handy weggelegt somit ich keine richtigen Beschwerden habe.

Excelente ubicación!! Puedes ir a ver el sunset cada día ya que está a 5min del mirador Ahu Tahai. Distancia caminable al centro y de todos modos hay un almacén cerca. Los dueños un amor, te van a buscar y a dejar y tienen una muy buena disposición para cualquier consulta. Las cabañas tienen todo lo necesario para la estancia y hay buen wifi.

Cabaña equipada para dos personas, cumple con el precio calidad. La ubicación es ideal porque está al lado de ahu tahai y a 10 minutos caminando del centro. El lugar es tranquilo, perfecto para desconectarse.

La señal WIFI es regular.

Very welcoming hosts. The location was also good as it was within walking distance of the town and very close to the Tahai

It took an hour to make the payment due to network connection issues (we ended up going to town to get signal to make the payment). WIFI was awful. Bathroom facilities were poor requiring maintenance. Towels didn't smell good after using a couple of times only.

Friendly host and the cabaña offered nice privacy and had all the basics for a great stay. I loved the location. It was a little more quiet with a 15 minute coastal walk to town. Sunsets at Tahai every night and a 2 minute walk back to the cabin.

The kitchen is basic. No oil, salt or pepper, or a lot of cooking supplies in general. However, it had enough to cook some simple meals.

Superb place! I loved the location, it was in a very calm and quiet spot and mere minutes from Ahu Tahai where you can watch the sunset. The hosts were very friendly and in regular contact even before I had arrived, helping to facilitate a smooth stay. Lifts were provided both to and from the airport. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decently sized. It was well-equipped with all I needed throughout my stay. I also loved the cabin more generally - it's tempting as a tourist to opt for the regular type of hotel (we've all done that). But this was unique in a very charming way. It complimented the rest of my trip perfectly!

Zero complaints - would definitely stay here again if I were ever to revisit Rapa Nui!

Lovely cabin in a large orchard on owners land with friendly hens and dogs. Really lovely family hosts. Wonderful location near sunset view of moia. 20 min walk along coastal path to town

Individual cabaña with a kitchenette. Right next to Ahu Tahai (i.e. great sunset views within walking distance every evening). Spacious room. Proprietor, Sr. José, is great; very kind and helpful.

It’s a bit of a walk to the town center so if you have a car, no problem. Without a car, it’s a good 30 min walk.

Wifi was too distance, but there is a general problem with connection on the island

While not fancy, it’s very comfortable. The room had a nice kitchenette if you wanted to cook instead of going out. It’s within walking distance to town and is very close to the best spot to watch the sunset on Rapa Nui, Te Moai. The family who owns the property are wonderful, very helpful and made sure our stay was a good one. At one point the hot water wasn’t coming through in the bathroom, at first we thought it was just temporary but when it still wasn’t present the next day, we let the owner know and he got right to it and it was repaired in about an hour.

Great location near the coast and Moai. All equipment needed for cooking. Good outside space. Great, helpful owner

Two grotty little cabins well away from town with nothing appealing about them.

The smell of raw sewage permeating the bathroom from the septic tank.

Friendly and helpful host, fully equipped apartment, walking distance to downtown. Apartment just behind Ahu Tahai, the most beautiful sunset point. We loved it.

Super comfortable and clean cabin in Hanga Roa. The place is so special, you just have to see it to believe it. Steps from the moai and the coastline. Convenient to groceries and restaurants. I loved every second. The room is private, has everything you need! I will be back!!
