Reviewed Aug 1, 2025Das rote Holzhaus, Nebengebäude eines ehemaligen Bauernhofs, liegt wunderbar in einer offenen dörflichen Landschaft, nahe am NP Store Mosse, somit ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, sehr gut, modern, aber dem Charakter des Hauses entsprechend renoviert und ausgestattet. Da es sich um ein jahrhunderte altes Haus handelt, entwickelt sich eine urige Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich tatsächlich in frühere Zeiten versetzt in den z.T. kleinen Zimmern und auf der knarzenden Treppe.
Im Obergeschoss gibt es neben einem Doppelzimmer einen Gruppenschlafraum, der etwas unvermittelt wirkt. Unpraktisch ist es, dass die Toilette im Untergeschoss liegt, es entspricht aber dem altertümlichen Charakter des Hauses.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2025Really nice old property, with a lot of character, on the farm of the owners. Very friendly owners, and a nice outdoors area, complete with a tree swing that our kids really enjoyed. Also some bikes. Overall, it was a really nice house, and we would happily have stayed there longer. Again, it's an old house, and individual things could do with an update, but nothing major that affected how much we enjoyed the house
Nothing, we really liked the house, and would happily stay here whenever in the area.

There's only one bathroom. For us (5) that was just enough, but if you stay there with a full house, one bathroom is not much.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2024The house is located almost in the forest. It is very beautiful to see the color of the trees in the fall. Very clean hause and bedcloses were clean. I loved this place. Who loves nature, it is the perfect place. Also, there were some bicycles in the yard, but we did not use them. Access is also not complicated, you can check in yourself. .
The stairs for upstairs are very noisy :). For me, there was not anything that I did not like.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2024It is a cozy nice home. I felt like its cold little bit but the host made sure its varm in everyroom. Bathroom floor was cold. The house is well furnished with vessels, Coffee machine many more. Beds were clean and fresh.
The photos in the website were bigger compared to reality. But there is enough space in the house.

It was a bit hard to get to due to roadworks, some instruction to get there might be appreciated by future visitors.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2023Great location, just next to Store Mosse national park in a typical Swedish country side house. The communication with the owner was short but clear. Clean and tidy, great location for nature lovers. Magnificent sky full of stars when there's no clouds!
We did not get to see the owner of the house but that did not undermine our stay. Only disadvantage is that the house only has one bathroom/toilet for 8-10 people. So we had to agree who would shower in the morning/at noon.
