The location was ideal for us, as we wished to visit the Sizewell C archaeological talks and exhibition, which are nearby. The dormer bungalow is as described online, clean, comfortable and with more than sufficient crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and a good smart TV. There is a good private decking area outside. A very useful base for our weekend, with an exceptional public house nearby, The Parrot and Punchbowl.
The bathroom is on the ground floor, which might be a little tricky for people who need to visit it at night from the upstairs bedroom. A little freezing compartment in the fridge would be helpful - freezing ice packs and making ice cubes - but that is not essential.
Hot water far too hot, blocked bathroom drains, little space around toilet, positioning of bed doesn’t allow for adequate head clearance, duvet cover not properly fitted, deck storage untidy,
Great location, easy drive into Aldeburgh, Southwold and Thorpeness. Nice, modern, clean space with a lovely patio area.
