lovely location by the beach

Super easy to collect the keys from the property on arrival. Owner sent code to key box.

Was dying for a cuppa on arrival, as we were staying for a wedding. We hadn't brought any so had to run to the shops. Not the end of the world at all but would have been a deadly bonus!

Das Geschirr und Besteck in den Schränken war nicht sauber. Wir mussten erst einmal alles spülen. Aus der Dusche kam sehr wenig Wasser.

Great house with everything you could possibility need in it. The beach is at the bottom of the garden. Can recommend this enough.

The property is in an excellent location with access to the beach from the back garden. A lovely house and perfect location with beaches right beside it. Pets are welcome and the back garden is totally enclosed for safety and privacy.

Shower was poor.

Great location by the beach, and plenty of room for the whole family. Hosts were great - very helpful when an item was left behind.

Beautiful location. We holidayed in this house for well over 10 years when the kids were small. This was a special trip 10 years on.

We had to search for towels and not enough large ones for all of us. There was no heat on when we arrived even though it had been snowing.

Location was beautiful and the house provided everything we needed. It was also close to Rathmullan House hotel which was important to us

The main shower was not very good.

Spacious and comfortable house with the most unbelievable location right beside the beach! Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Sunroom and spacious garden.

Fab location with white sandy beach at end of the garden. Bliss. Warm with central heating on.

Given beautiful outdoors, a table outside or more than one chair would be nice. Friend found bed a bit hard. I used single bed much softer.

Location on beach was great

No electric on arrival so house was freezing cold, no towels in bedrooms, no added extras like a small jar of milk, bread, shower gel etc. No added extras.

Beautiful accommodation within a beautiful location and not too far away from Letterkenny.

The location close to beach

Lack of amenities which were advertised on booking. Com site. House would need money spent on it to bring it up to modern standards. No toiletries ie. Soap, toilet paper, cleaning products, waste bags for rubbish. All showers would need a deep clean, photos can be supplied but they're not pleasant. No locks on bathroom and toilet doors, not good enough for mixed couples. Spider webs all over bathroom ceiling. On arrival host didn't answer my phone calls as we had issues about the amenities. Arrived at house the following day but ignored my concerns

The property was outstanding. And location was perfect for attending a wedding in Drumhalla House

The location is excellent with a gate from the back to the beach. Spacious house. Nice layout and conservatory .

We were given 4 towels for 8 people. For a one night stay, I would expect shower gel, tea bags, a dishwasher tablet. There was nothing. Very basic. We were also cold overnight and 3 of the bedrooms did not have spare blankets.

fantastic big house for family & kids right on beach .. comfy beds house nice & clean .. great big garden for kids to play safely & also beautiful beach ..

only 1 shop in the town (very expensive) .. so make sure to do your shopping before you arrive .. would of been nice if the house had provided some condiments & tea & coffee & and a little carton of milk on arrival after a long journey .

Instructions re washing machine and heating use would have been good.

Excellent location and indoor space.

Shower in main downstairs bathroom had very poor pressure. Took a long time for the hot water to come through. Not ideal for four adults. Not enough towels- only 5 bath towels and 2 hand towels for 6 adults and 1 child. No toiletries other than hand wash. Only one toilet roll per bathroom.

House was great, spacious, and very clean! 2 minute drive from Drumhalla House - beach out the back gate for a lovely walk.

Wonderful for 3 generations of 14 people. Great location, great gardens with gates to the beach. Good bedroom and bathroom facilities. Good hot water and kitchen appliances

Missing plugs from sinks!

The location was excellent, walk to bottom of garden and out onto beach.

We liked everything about it. The house,the location and especially its proximity to the beach. Even the weather played ball! We would definitely go back.

Great location, fantastic layout of house, very easy dealt with and accessible

Seemed to be a bit of a problem with flies, all windows were opened when we arrived not sure what the reason but especially upstairs there was a big presence of flies.. not a big deal but only one and 1/2 rolls of toilet roll between the 2 bathrooms, we purchased another pack but maybe there was some stored in the house, maybe make it more available to future guests.

Accessibility to the beach was fantastic!! A really lovely spot. It was a good family sized home and we had such a lovely weekend.

Location was excellent.

Some general maintenance required to freezer etc...minor and didn't affect our stay. Our host did call to check on us and to be fair I didn't discuss with him.

Right on the beach, spacious ,good facilities and nice sized sitting room.

It was a very convenient location for rathmullan house

When we arrived the house was absolutely freezing. I wouldn't expect the heat to be on all the time but they could have set it to come on for a few hours before we arrived. I also thought it was very expensive, about 400 euro for one night, it is a 4 bed house but I still think that is expensive for what you get.

Sheraton space in the house. It has incredible views and great beach access. Rathmullan house is a short walk away.

The radiators in one of the bedrooms didn’t work which made it cold in December. The washing machine leaked all over the kitchen floor was was broken so unable to use. It was an expensive property to rent and hence this isn’t really acceptable

Limited grocery shops in Rathmullan

Location was perfect with access from the garden to the beach, lovely secure back garden for the children with toys and a swing. House was spacious and warm with everything you would need provided. The location is quiet and felt safe.

Location was really close to the sea. We were able to go for a swim before breakfast.

The property was surprisingly spacious and the beach was at the bottom of the garden which was an added bonus. It was like a home from home - warm and welcoming and dog-friendly. Perfect location.

There was nothing to dislike

Excellent location, reasonably well appointed house, good space. The host responded to queries immediately and in person resolving any issues without a problem.

The oven needed cleaning, the freezer required de frosting and there was animal hair covering the furniture in the conservatory. The beds were not particularly comfortable. A welcome pack with some basic groceries and an instruction manual (or labelling) for the electrical devices/heating would be helpful. Information about local restaurants, and activities would be helpful.
