Reviewed Apr 13, 2026House was lovely and clean on arrival, newly refurbished, lovely kitchen and bathroom and 2 good sized bedrooms. Excellent location, 5 min walk from Tyrellspass. The wood pellet stove was a lovely touch and kept the place lovely and warm. Catherine was very responsive and unfortunately we didnt get to meet because of the fuel protests but her check in instructions couldn't have been clearer and she was quick to reply to any messages. I would happily stay here again.
Cannot complain about anything.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2025The house was immaculate. The loveliest little spot. We were attending a wedding in The Village Barn, and the location was perfect. Catherine, the host, was so friendly and so accommodating. We loved the little touches - like milk and water in the fridge. There was a fab little coffee dock across the road (they also do acai bowls). We have already booked to stay for our own wedding next year and know that we will be well looked after.
Absolutely nothing to say here. Not a single flaw.

Temperature outside was very cold on the night we stayed the house got cold quickly once the heating switched off. I guess this is to be expected during winter and in an older building.

The deposit for it couldn’t have been a bit cheaper considering I had to pay it the day I had my family’s wedding but I got it straight back the next day no issues .

The interior of the house is finished to a 5 star standard.Would highly recommended to family and friends, such a quiet area but within walking distance to the village.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2024The little white house is an exceptional house. The décor is fabulous, so clean and comfortable. It is walking distance to a lovely Village where everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The host Catherine was the most attentive host we have had. I cannot recommend this highly enough. There is no doubt we will be staying here again. Also we were able to book for one night which is unusual for a self catering they often have a minimum stay policy.
There was no negatives about this property.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2023Our host Catherine was very responsive, and was extremely helpful. Before we arrived she even offered to make the dinner reservation to the local restaurant for us, and once we arrived she described where we could take a path for a nice walk to the castle for breakfast.
We were very comfortable and pleased with our stay, and have no complaints or dislikes to mention.

She gave us loads of recommendations and even helped us get to and from the wedding. The house is beautiful and spotless - we were extremely comfortable and well looked after.
