Donegal Beach Cottage with Sea Views & Internet TV, sleeps six

Location was lovely. House was very clean

Sitting room was small for a house that sleeps 6. Internet tv wasn’t set up for easy use for people who don’t live in Ireland and don’t have logins to the local tv apps or access to subscription streaming services. Bedding felt poor quality and towels were very thin.

Great location, great views, peaceful. Very comfortable beds, we had great sleeps after our days hiking and exploring

The views where amazing so peaceful

Great cottage perfect location right at the beach

Beautiful rural location with 2 beaches within walking distance

We had a wonderful stay - clean and comfortable with breathtaking views. It was the perfect location for us with two beaches on the doorstep. We loved it.

Nothing.

Our host left very clear instructions and was on hand to answer any questions we had, responding quickly. It was easy to collect our keys from a safe spot pointed out by the host, they even gave recommendations on nearby pubs and beaches. The location was in walking distance of a quiet beach called Susan's beach and a short drive to a couple others, Dooey beach and Portnoo Beach. There were a few traditional pubs close by and easy access to larger supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl and SuperValue a short drive away in Dungloe. There was a local honesty box along the road to the property if you needed eggs, jams or breads which was really helpful. It was the perfect base to do a little exploring during the day and cosy in at night with the wood burner, TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime and everything else you might need. A well equipped kitchen with kettle, microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher and even some essentials like salt, pepper, sugar oil etc. The electric shower was nice after a cold walk on the beaches. There was good heating throughout and three super comfy double beds although we only really needed the wood burner to stay warm. There was also plenty of towels, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board if you needed, the host had thought of everything! Even the wi-fi was a decent speed! The weather we had wasn't during our stay wasn't great but if it were during the summer months the property has a fantastic deck with very little light pollution at night so there was plenty of star gazing to be had. We will be back for sure!

Honestly there wasn't really anything we didn't like about the property it was great, we would recommend having a car as the short drive off the main road didn't take long but if you are walking to the pub it obviously took a little longer as the roads are winding and dark at night bring some torches.

A beautiful house with all the mod cons to enjoy a relaxing break. The house was spotless, well decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect spot for beautiful walks on your doorstep. The nearby beaches are beautiful and most of the times wevwere the only ones there. We were thoroughly rested and relaxed at the end. I'd definitely recommend

Everything was perfect.
