Cosy
Parking dangerous getting in and out
Fantastic location. An easy walk to the village.
We found the beds were not ideal. Very small beds and not very comfortable.
Lovely property, ideal location for touring Wicklow, Kildare and beyond.
Une chambre très petite,,pas de rangement Stricte minimum en vaisselle.
Toilette bouchée le dernier jour
Very quirky little home. Well thought out with what you need inside. Very kind and obliging owners.
The heating system is not great. The boiler needs a service as the air pressure is severe. While in use the boiler makes a lot of screeching noises which I am sure will go after radiators have been bled. As a parent with young children I would have liked there to have been a label on the cupboard with a microwave to inform you that it is in there and already plugged in, as my toddler found it first and had turned it on, fortunately without putting anything in there, but it could have been a lot worse. The website photos could do with updating as on the photos it seems you can access the top garden but it is currently cable tied off due to unsafe stairs I am assuming. The bed side lights in the bedroom closest to the toilet both don't work. The oven could do with some other oven trays for cooking food. We had to have the shower on extremely low to ensure that the water wouldn't overflow due to very slow drainage. I understand that the plumbing system is old and maybe that's why but it was just difficult trying to clean yourself properly. The beds are extremely loud so with even a small movement they seem to rattle which my children and husband found challenging.
Very nice and cozy house
Very friendly
The walking proximity to the village center.
The second bedroom felt claustrophobic – the one next to the bathroom. Crossing the road could be sometimes a challenge due to cars flying up and down the road. I had a larger car and could not fit it in the tight parking spot. All of the above were pretty unavoidable and we managed OK.
Located on a 20-30 min drive to the Wicklow Mountains and it’s hiking trails. Check in went smooth. Kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom was clean. Parking is available next to the property and there’s a pub and pizza place down the street as well as a supermarket.
The bed in the second room made a lot of noise when you moved. Woke up myself a few times every night when I turned around. Heating has to be turned on by pressing a button every hour or so. This results in the temperature not being constant and me waking up in the middle of the night freezing my ears and nose off. Couch and chairs weren’t very comfortable to chill in the evening.
A very nice cosy little house. The host was very responsive and helpful.
Pěkný malý domek hned u silnice a na kraji města. Snadno jsme došli pěšky do obchodu i restaurace.
The property was ideal for what we needed. Celine was a great host and super easy to deal with and really cared about making sure we had everything we need for our stay.
Petit et bien équipé pour une famille de 4. Dans une jolie région, petit village accueillant et très sympathique avec les visiteurs
Que trouve sur la route principale du village
Environnement calme. Logement confortable On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin
Rien
Nice location, close to the show we were attending, nice comfy beds👍
Very close to a busy road so had to get someone to guide me out onto the road from the parking space, due to the heat wave the hollow was very warm maybe a small portable fan for each bedroom would be good to lower the temperature in the rooms whilst trying to sleep 💤💤
Propreté
Cosy enough
Smaller than expected
This is a fantastic quirky property in Ballymore Eustace. Ideal location to walk into the village and space for one car to park on the drive next to the house. Free wifi was excellent, very quick speeds. Lots of hiking/walking trails nearby and some great plantations for dog walks. Russborough House is up the road and a few other touristy attractions too.
I expected somewhere small and cosy and this is exactly what this accommodation is. Nothing to fault.
Beds
Great optimization of space and everything necessary for a good stay. It's worth the price. The owner takes great care! Bonus = animals are accepted.
Nothing.
Good
Nothing
Loved the coziness, Loved the peacefulness, Super shower, Great stove, Very clean, Close to Dublin, Celine is a great woman
The driveway is bad for 3 reasons: - the curved wall makes the space very tight - the roads surrounding the property aren’t the best
Very clean good heating and shower was great.
Nothing everything was good nothing wrong with this cottage for a break in Ireland.
The property was clean cozy and warm. It is very central to many attractions and also has a lovely little village just down the road.
Nothing
The cottage was lovely and close to all the places we wanted to see. We missed our host as we were out when she called but she had everything we needed in her cottage .
It was a perfect cosy little cottage, really good facilities and very clean!
The beds were very creaky which woke us up a few times but still very comfortable! We did notice a rodent trap under the sofa which was slightly off putting but again it wasn’t that bad! Shower was a bit leaky and the oven smoked.
Location.
Missing items such as light bulbs, plug in kitchen sink. Dirty dish cloths. Radio not working. Poor instructions for use of TV
Bigger than photos suggest, close to village, river walk and pubs, great location for exploring the area, good TV channels for children, access through both doors to get to the car
I don’t like to mention this, as the host was kind enough to check us in very early, but where we are now is cheaper, more mod cons and exceptionally clean. The property needs a good deep clean, hob extractor needs light fixing, bed clothes/towels oldish and had marks on them, log burner filthy, dust everywhere when we arrived, so I had to dust all the essentials, new pans needed - I had to scrub rust and burned food off the existing ones, old marked tea towels and cloths, which I couldn’t use, games on top of wardrobe caked in dust - I am so sorry to have to mention all of this, but I have been with booking.con for many years and it is only fair to customers that honesty prevails - if the above was addressed, brilliant!
Lovely place in a nice location. Ideal for us as was central to the places we needed to be. Celine was very helpful and even dropped round some extra towels on request. Thanks again.
Great location for visiting family.
Nothing
Comfortable lounge, good location, lovely village
Cupboards in the kitchen were difficult to access above the bench, the bedroom was too bright with light coming in through the glass door which couldn't be closed, the plumbing was sub par which meant I needed to use a plunger to unblock the toilet from normal use, second bedroom could do with some new sheets - they were old and lots of pilling
Celine was brilliant! She kept in contact in case we needed anything. The cottage was lovely, exactly what we were looking for.
Everything was amazing
We liked the cottage.
The beds were not very comfortable and there was toilet issues
A beautiful quaint cottage in a picturesque village. The cottage was immaculate, bright and modern. Very easy to heat with a good shower. The cottage had everything we needed and more, i highly recommend, we were a family of four and had plenty of space.
Nothing
Good location for our plans. Had all the basics .
Toilet liable to block. Sink no plug nor bowl wash up . Cupboard door coatings coming off. 2nd bedroom had to climb in from the bottom . Cupboards awkward to access over breakfast bar Parking space is very awkward between 2 walls TV very small Generally place a bit tired
Cottage is beautiful traditional building that has been lovingly renovated to a high standard by the owner. It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed with a great high pressure shower ( which i loved ) and two great bedrooms, a lovely lounge/kitchen area and a little rear yard with garden furniture. Village is lovely and just a few minutes walk from accommodation and it is ideally located for the Wicklow Mountains and other places of beauty. Celine the owner kept in contact the whole time and was wonderful to deal with, thank you so much Celine for entrusting us with your cottage, we will be back.
Everything
Friendly and helpful host. All facilities present and clean. Good location. Cooker was electric. Plenty of channels on tv.
Board games had missing pieces / instructions. Shelf above toilet
The cottage was great for us. We liked the location and that it was walking distance to the village. The owners had put together a binder with brochures from the local area and menus from nearby restaurants. They were very responsive to our questions/issues.
The one parking spot is tricky to back into. There were issues with the plumbing in the bathroom which have hopefully been resolved.
Charming quirky cottage with off street parking. Had everything we needed for our stay. We treated the old plumbing with sympathy 😁. Shops, eateries and bars all within walking distance.and the location was ideal for getting to our show. The small fenced yard at the back was a huge bonus too.
Nothing really.
small old house with soul
Beautiful relaxing stay a hidden gem thank you
We liked the location, it suited our needs. Celine was very helpful in giving us ideas for shops / restaurants/ cafes
Although it had everything we needed ,there we a few things that needed attention., but Celine had had problems with previous guests ,so no doubt will address the issues
it is a great little cottage in a cute little town. perfect for people biking or checking out the nearby surroundings.
it was very difficult to get taxis around the area and often we had to wait a long time. plus none of the taxis took card. so if you come here, either make sure you are biking or having your own car.
Lovely little cottage in nice village. Had Everything we needed. One big detail..beds were super comfy
Occasionally early morning traffic on week days..but to be expected so just minor..
