Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Die Lage war sehr ansprechend, Blick auf den Fjord, Leiter ins Wasser direkt am Haus, Coop um die Ecke, Zentrum von Reine ca.1 km entfernt, guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Ich hatte das Mini-Haus und war voll zufrieden, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden wie in einem Tiny-Haus. Geschlafen habe ich auf der Empore sehr gut, auf die man über eine Treppe/Leiter kommt. Bei meiner Ankunft funktionierte das Wasser nicht. Innerhalb von zehn Minuten waren zwei junge Männer da und haben alles in Ordnung gebracht. Perfekter Service. Vielen Dank.
Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln, nur ein Vorschlag für einen Kleiderständer, dass nasse Sachen auch aufgehängt und getrocknet werden können. Die Haken an der Tür sind dafür zu wenig.

The upstairs room was not clean and the bed was dirty (hairs on the mattress, yellow stains on the blanket and pillow, mattress pads were dirty). The bed was not made. The housekeeper actually admitted that they don't have time to wash all the bedding between stays. The issue was resolved just the next day - I had to waste my precious vacation time and energy on this. The kitchen was missing even such basics as sugar. No firewood and matches were provided for the fireplace. It is a very pretty cabin and location, but it desperately needs more love and care as well as a deep clean. The living room furniture felt like it was picked up in the garbage. Dirty sofa, random decorations, disgusting dirty pillows/throw blanket etc. Poor lighting in the rooms. They could do a better maintenance job for such a high price tag.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Check in was clear, simple and easy. The rorbuer cabin is conveniently located outside in Reine, 3 minutes drive away from the main island. You can see them from the reinebringen top on a clear day. Grocery is just in walking distance. We have a party of 6 seniors, 3 couples and rooms and beds fit us well. We had a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend it.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Yes the location and view are fabulous BUT the cabin is just a few steps away from the E10 (main road across the Lototen) so you have the noise all day and the evening long. And more importantly, the place needs a full renovation and refurbishment to make it worth the price charged for. Most furniture is broken down or damaged, worn-out, there are stains on the coach and blankets, the dishes are half dirty, the fridge door is broken, the shower´s ground is cracked, there is a persistent smell of « not so clean place ».

Reviewed May 6, 2026Huge living room kitchen in the big cabin near the road. Heated floor in bathroom. Strong water pressure. Amazing location although next to the E10 road. Fabulous views from many windows. Has a great historic feel to the old cabin.
TV was apple account only and all in Japanese. Told to use translator app. Bring own hdmi output device or have an apple account if you want TV. Power tripped and had to find breakers in cupboard in loft room. No manual or accommodation instructions. Has heater stove but bring own wood and lighter/matches. Some parts lacked maintenance.

Reviewed May 5, 2026とにかく景色は最高！エリアの中で1番良い位置にあるロルブーなのではないかと思います！朝から夜まで山々を眺めることができます。 水回りはかなり清潔で、使いやすかったです👍特に洗面所（脱衣所）は床暖房がついていて、家の中で1番暖かい場所でした😂冬でもシャワー後凍えることはないと思います。 キッチンも調理するのに十分な物が揃っていたので、毎日自炊できました。
建て付けが悪くて扉が閉まりにくかったり、鍵が古いタイプで使いにくいという人はいると思いますが、これらも伝統的なロルブーであるため許容範囲です。

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Très bien situé, juste à côté d’un mini marché. Le chalet était bien chauffé à notre arrivée. La cuisine est super bien équipée avec un vrai four, un frigo et un lave-vaisselle. Bref de quoi se préparer de bon petit plat surtout le soir, car les restos ferment très tôt à 21h. Il est très bien isolée et la vue est époustouflante. Je le recommande à tous !

La casa era molto fredda. Abbiamo contattato l’host per segnalare che il riscaldamento in ingresso non funzionava e chiedendo quindi altra legna per il camino (essendo il 1 gennaio era tutto chiuso). Ci hanno risposto dicendo che avrebbero mandato qualcuno ad aiutarci ma nessuno è arrivato. Nel complesso la casa è molto bella, funzionale, pulita e location perfetta, peccato per il freddo perché facendo -7 fuori, tornando a casa e trovarla fredda per 2 giorni non è il massimo.

Reviewed Dec 1, 2025L'emplacement, la vue de la cabane - en novembre la route n'est pas trop fréquentée, donc très agréable à cette saison. Le logeur est très réactif et professionnel, nous a autorisé à partir une heure plus tard, les bus ayant été annulés à cause de la tempête.
Pas grand chose, sauf que le logement n'était pas chauffé (4 heures pour arriver à une température correcte). Nous avons été obligé d'aller acheter du bois à notre arrivée et l'accès n'était pas dégagé (sans voiture pas de problème, mais si nous avions une voiture cela aurait été problématique - la neige était là depuis plus de 24h, aucune trace de passage).

Le logement « mini-Valen » qui nous a été vendu pour 3 adultes est une offre mensongère et malhonnête. Nous avons réservé un logement pour 3 adultes (1 couple + 1 adulte) car il était précisé dans le descriptif qu’il y avait une chambre séparée. Mais en réalité ce n’est pas du tout une chambre séparée, c’est un lit posé sur une mezzanine grande ouverte. Donc il n’y a qu’une seule pièce et pas du tout « un salon + une chambre séparée ». De plus la mezzanine est tellement basse que l’on n’y tient pas debout, ni même à genou : la seule solution est de ramper. Enfin, le logement n’est pas propre et de nombreux éléments sont vieux et détériorés : gros morceaux de vieux scotch sur les murs, plateau de la table endommagé, vieille poubelle rouillée dans la salle de bain, taches multiples sur le canapé-lit. Très surpris de trouver cela à notre arrivée, nous avons appelé la gérante qui a refusé de chercher une solution et nous a rétorqué que c’était de notre faute, nous aurions dû mieux regarder les photos….

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Het huisje is superknus ingericht. De inrichting past helemaal bij de uitstraling van de cabin. Omdat het slecht weer was doen we aankwamen, konden we lekker gebruik van de kachel om op te warmen.
De douche zelf was heerlijk, alleen liep er ook wat water de badkamer in.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025Die Lage war fantastisch. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse nach Reine und den Reinbringen war wirklich sehr schön.
Es gab nur einen Kochtopf. Die Beleuchtung im Haus, insbesondere im Bad war sehr gering. Das Haus ist in einem urigen Zustand, alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer zu wenig. Insgesamt täte dem Haus ein make over sehr gut.

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025As we are seniors, we did not like to go up steep stairs to bed so therefore we slept on the sofa downstairs. There was no dedicated parking space for our Mini Valen. The surface for parking was very uneven and it was dangerous to climb up to the bed. Would have appreciated a welcome basket with perhaps a chocolate, map and what to see in the Lofoten Islands.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2025The location is fabulous. We could walk for groceries and had great views on the deck. The place was well stocked and comfortable. The heated bathroom floors were a nice surprise.
The Wi-Fi is very poor. It dropped often even if you were next to the box. There is a tv and after much wasted time we found out it was malfunctioning- it only had 2 channels. The fuse blew and we spent an hour looking for the fuse box. Much of the frustrating elements could have been easy for us to handle on our own with a manual or guide. Instead we were asked to google instructions. We loved the place but as Americans it was frustrating to decipher the washer.

There should be a sign that hot water runs out fast so shower quickly! Need more hooks in bathroom as one was broken off. In general need more hooks or hangers to dry towels and wet clothing from rain. Should supply shampoo and soap.

It is quite remote especially for one person in rainy and snowy weather but I knew this going in and was still a lovely escape. Does need a bit of minimal work and repairs but overall a lovely regional cottage with a stunning view. Would stay again. Some confusion and difficulties in communications in days leading up to booking but everything worked out fine in the end.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2025A vey good location cabins located in Reine . You are easy to reach The iconic spot for northern lights in Hamnoy and Reine. We have 10 persons and booked all the three houses for five nights.
The wifi only works for the largest house closed to the road . The hot water is not sufficient for the 6 and 4 persons house and cooking utensils is messy .They didn’t provide sufficient garbage bags and toilet papers for 5 nights staying . For the smallest cabin, they claim one bedroom cabin but beds are loaded at the loft . Very misleading.
