Sue was very very responsive and quick to solve our issue during our stay which we really appreciated! 2min drive to RealNZ for the Doubtful Sound cruise, super convenient!

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026So ein tolles Haus! Großzügig, bequeme Betten, perfekte Ausstattung. Den Garten konnten wir wetterbedingt nicht nutzen, aber hier steht ein Grill und eine schöne Sitzecke bereit. Hier hätten wir es definitiv länger ausgehalten!

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Wunderbar ausgestattetes Ferienhaus (insbesondere die Küche). Es war alles hervorragend. Ganz besonderen Dank auch an die Gastgeber, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt wegen des ausgefallenen Milford-Tracks noch um zwei Nächte verlängern konnten.
Einzig und allein ein wenig schade, dass für die Sitzbank draußen (Stein und damit kalt) keine Auflagen vorhanden waren. Die Sandflies haben uns leider abends das Sitzen im Garten vermiest, wofür aber die Gastgeber nichts können.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Maison très spacieuse, bien équipée et très bien aménagée. out est là pour un séjour très confortable. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle, les chambres son spacieuses. Un grand jardin autour de la maison permet d'accueillir la voiture. Maison idéalement située, à 5 minutes à pied du départ de la croisière Doubtfull Sound.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2025Perfect location to access the Doubtful Sound boat the next day. Warm and cosy and well appointed. Nicely private and homely. The Church cafe/restaurant is lovely and just around the corner.
Just wished we had asked if a later checkout was possible so we did not have to wait 2 hours in the cold for the boat!

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024The house is very clean, fully equipped kitchen and everything that you could wished for a holiday home, the living room is decorated with a Christmas tree . The location is a short 15 mins from Te Anau and it provides great value. I like the quietness neighborhood and close to the lake with a nearby restaurant. Do get your grocery from Te Anau with more choices
