Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Avant d'y accéder on y rencontre des moutons le long de la route. Le chalet et son jardin sont un vrai paradis. Notre seul regret est d'y avoir passé qu'une seule nuit. L'intérieur du chalet est très chaleureux, bien décoré, spacieux et agréable. On s'y sent bien comme dans une vraie "maison". Pour cuisiner il y a tout les ustensiles, vraiment tout. Le lit était confortable également. On avait emmené notre propre literie. La salle de bain est à l'intérieur du cottage, pas besoin de sortir dehors, c'est très basique mais c'est normal dans un cottage. Il y a un poêle à chauffer dans le salon également, on en a bien profité. Nous avons pas trop eu le temps de profiter de l'extérieur, il y avait des tables et un barbecue, dans un jardin au milieu d'une forêt. A la fin du séjour il faut tout ranger et laver, vue la position du cottage isolé on immagine que c'est difficile d'organiser autrement. Sur un court séjour comme le notre c'est peut-être un peu contraignant mais on a tellement apprécier l'endroit qu'on a oublié ce détail. On espère y revenir un jour pour un plus long séjour.
Attention il faut pas oublier de payer le péage de 100 NOK pour y accéder.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Téměř nikdy nedávám takto vysoké hodnocení. Byla jsem už ve stovkách mnohem luxusnějších ubytováních a i ještě krásnějších míst, ale tohle mělo neuvěřitelné kouzlo a bylo velmi osobní. Chata sice dost stará, ale perfektně opečovávaná a fantasticky vybavená. Nechybělo tam absolutně nic a to doslova. Od provázku až po velice ostré nože. Není to místo jen na pronajímání, ale místo co po desetiletí miluje celá jejich rodina a přesně tak se k němu chová, stará se o něj a neustále vylepšuje. A ochočené veverky a ptáčci byli skvělým bonusem a fantastickou zábavou na pozorování. Perfektní komunikace s majiteli.
Nečekejte luxus, ale prostě zážitek. Sprcha není úplně nejpohodlnější, ale stačí a je funkční. Není výhled do širšího a v okolí další chaty, ale byl klid a stačilo kousek vyjít a byla skvělá vyhlídka na jezero.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Een mooi compleet huis. Het was erg schoon. Er hangt wat vogelvoer wat leuk is voor een vogelaar als ik.
Wat ik jammer vind is wat je moet doen voor je het huis achterlaat. Je moet 7 foto’s maken en deze per mail versturen zie foto. Ik snap dat dit veilig is maar het voelt…

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Such an amazing cabin! So quiet and peaceful, and there were hares and red squirrels in the garden. Loved the well equipped kitchen, and the opportunity to wash and dry my jeans! Comfy bed and a surprisingly good shower. Very easy to get to Oppdal for food, and to get to the Musk Oxen Trail.
Everything was just perfect 👌

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Die Ausstattung ist voll umfänglich, es ist ruhig und die Aussicht gut. Die Ausganslage zum Wandern ist auch sehr zentral und die Ziele sind gut erreichbar.
Die Anfahrt auf den Berg ist steil/Schotterweg. Ich weiß nicht, ob wir jedes Mal Parkgebühren entrichten müssen oder ob es nur eine einmalige Zahlung durch eine App /Registrierung ist? Die einmalige Parkgebühr beträgt 10 €.

Nic nebylo vyloženě špatně, pro 5ti člennou rodinu trošku stísněné prostory, ale to nebylo ubytováním - chatou.

Parking right at the cabin. Toll road access and you are responsible for cleaning the cabin when you leave. Price very reasonable

No proper bathroom, EL installation in the bathroom did not meet the code, and could be potentially dangerous. Short and uncomfortable beds and bedrooms were the biggest issue, we couldn’t get a proper sleep.

The WiFi was a bit wobbly but it was fine. The road to get there was also super icy, almost didn't make it up the road. Was not the owner's fault though!

Reviewed Sep 15, 2023We loved the location, the silence, the garden with full of blueberries. We were also thrilled by the living room with large windows to the garden. Our kids had a lot of fun with the zipline. We were happy to be able to use the electric grill (fairly large and quality Weber), there is an outside plug. The lake Gjevilvatnet is beautiful, however the cabin is quite far so we better used the car since the weather in Norway is unstable in general.
The driveway fee was not stated in advance, nor were we advised of the amount in direct communication with the owner later. We paid 143,20 NOK for 1 entrance (8/2023) and there is some administration involved since the Autopass tag does not apply. We recommend that it is fairly stated in the description of the property as it is a mandatory part of the accommodation cost. As for the cabin itself, we have almost no comments: the mattresses were too soft, the toilet with shower is really small in size. And an axe would be handy for being able to chop the firewood into smaller pieces.

Reviewed Dec 2, 2022This was a perfect spot and we loved this cabin. Good internet (I was working while we traveled.) Comfortable Norwegian details. Amazing view. Perfect in almost every way...We would return on our next Norwegian Adventure.
There is a toll road. Also bit of challenge to find in the dark - but it worked out.

Reviewed Oct 29, 2022It was unbelievable. Location in the mountains, hiking from your doorstep. Cabin was beautifully appointed and cosy- you can tell the owners are proud of it. Such a great stay they could have charged us double.
Nothing. It was fantastic. Just remember to bring your own linen! We had to stop by an H&M en route to get bedding.
